CHAPTER 05

*Hanky*

I'm very much used to bullying, they don't mess with me when I'm in front of them they secretly leave me. Before I used to think what's the reason or what did I do to them to treat me like this. I just realized that they treat me like this because they envy me, I didn't do wrong and I don't even know them personally so there is no other reason than "envy". If I could just give my life as a help I have done for a long time, if they are jealous of me I am even more jealous of them.

Everyone has a hidden envy it depends upon the person how they will deal with it. And my ways of dealing it? Is to stay silent.

One week had passed since that incident in the bathroom happened. I always see, Prine at school but I'm just too shy to approach him.

Oh yeah, I finally found out what's his name. It's Prineson Monte Amis, people used to call him "Prine" so, Prine. Only child of the owner of M.A Construction, they're filthy rich like us! I researched that.

"A lot of assignments are boring." The complaint is, Mae. Of the three of us he is the smartest it's unusual that he complains like this.

I just sighed when I remembered something I then turned to Mae. "Mae, borrow an assignment in Science." Because I didn't do my assignment last night, I fell asleep.

"Borrow? Or copy?" He smiled at me and I frowned and finally he gave me his notebook as well.

"You, Lian are you done with the assignment?" Mae asked Lian, I'm just listening to them because I'm already busy copying.

"Huh? Ah h-not yet." Lian answered.

"I'll give it to you after." I said while still busy copying I was pertaining to Mae's Science notebook.

"I-I can't answer anymore." I just smiled, miraculously and this one worked hard.

"Cafeteria again?" I asked them as we went downstairs on the third floor because our classroom.

“As usual,” Mae said.

"By the way, let's buy food at the Cafeteria and then eat at the Garden." Lian suggested that I be arrested immediately, it's a great idea!

"All right then you're free!" Hirit ni, Mae in the same excited tone.

Lian turned to him. "Its stingy."

"Treat me!" I volunteered, because I was just given my allowance for this week.

"Oh there! There's a free pretentious!" Lian applauded with joy as if he couldn't afford to buy his own food.

"Hey don't be embarrassed." Si Mae.

"Ayeih still embarrassed! But I also want to!" Lian tickled her so Mae just laughed too.

"Boba!" Mae said, Lian and I just laughed at her.

"I'll just buy it, you go to the Garden first, don't you have to go to Mae's faculty?" The distance between our Garden and Cafeteria is also a bit far.

"Not allowed!" They shouted at me at the same time.

"It's okay, there's no mambu-bully there."

"How do you know maybe aber?" Lian raised an eyebrow at me.

I sighed heavily, I feel like I kinder need to be watched.

"It's just like that, since I still have to go to the faculty, it's up to you, Lian to buy at the Cafeteria, I'll be the first to go to the Garden." I know I don't have a choice so I just agreed.

We then parted ways with Mae. Lian and I were talking about random things when a guy suddenly pulled her arms.

"What!" He complained about it. I was too shocked to even move especially when I looked the man in the eye his eyes are so cold that it shivers me.

"We'll talk."

"L-lian," I didn't know what to do. I'm just here watching them argue, I didn't know that they would meet this man. He's Clark Tuazon! Our new classmate.

I no longer moaned when he pulled Lian to who knows where it is.

In the end I still went to the Cafeteria alone.

When I enter the Cafeteria as usual all eyes are on me I didn't mind them. I just went to the counter to line up, the queue was a bit long.

My mind is occupied with what just happened earlier between Lian and that guy. What is his problem? Why did he drag Lian? In t'wing there is a move in the queue I will also be moved.

My mind is really busy thinking of something when someone bumped me porpusely from behind reason why I also pushed the one in front of me.

I irritatedly faced it and looked at it.

"Oops sorry." The man who ran into me has already signed peace.

I sighed and face whoever I bumped in front of me. To my shock my lip was parted, Prine was in front and I collided!

My heart beats so loud and fast I didn't expect that he was in front of me, my throat was dry I can't find words to speak. I haven't talked to him since the incident in the bathroom.

"Ow, s-sorry," he stared at me sharply but that was only for a moment as it passed behind me, at the group of men who first ran into me. I don't know why but suddenly the group of men left behind me.

After they left, Prine looked back at me. "I'm sorry again," I bowed when he said because his stare was scary.

"It's fine," I slowly looked into his eyes after he said that but I also immediately went down when I saw him staring at my face. I suddenly became contious of my face lest I have dirt on my face.

"Ow, thank you again about what happened last week." I said trying to strike a conversation. My parents raised me to be sociable so I'm used to making friends even if it's plastic. But this guy in front of me is different, it's like there's a wall in front of him making me difficult to reach him.

"Hmm .." He said still not stopping staring at me. Is this really how he stares?

I braced myself and faced him. "Is my hanky still early?" I asked but I also immediately regretted it. Actually I don't have a pack on my hanky I have lots of it, I just asked that to talk about.

I saw how his lips twitched and how his brow raised a little. Amusement is evident on his face. He folded his arms before speaking.

"Why? You don't have another hanky? As far as I know you're living like a princess you can afford to buy hundreds of hanky." I was so surprised by his answer that I felt sorry for him.

"H-no it's, it's just ...." I couldn't finish what I was going to say in the end I just closed my eyes tightly. Why did I ask that?

"No, I threw it away." He said and went to the counter to order then left.

I let out a loud sigh, I don’t know why there’s something inside of me pinch my stomach when he said that he throws my hanky.

Eventually I just ignored it and ordered our food. The important thing is, I formally said my thank you to him.

"Where is he, Lian?" Mae asked when I arrived at the Garden she was sitting on a bench. I looked around as if I could see the missing friend.

I told Mae what happened earlier, then I looked at her face.

"Are you blushing?" I immediately touched my cheek in shock at his question.

"Huh? Nothing." I said honestly.

"You're blushing," he said seriously.

"Just in the heat maybe?" I reasoned out because Prine suddenly came to my mind.
