Chapter 3

"Even you guys are coming now?" I looked over my shoulders to see who Rhea was speaking to as I locked my car and saw that they were none other than the rest of our group. I gave a smile to them and started walking inside.

Seeing the house itself made me realize how tired I was, with a deep breath I walked into the mansion only to be met by a fussing Sheela aunty.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, I would like to introduce you to the bride's mother, who thinks that all problems are going to happen in her daughter's wedding and panics even if a small button breaks and falls from a shirt.

"Oh ho Leela, do it quickly they might be here any moment." Sheela aunty said to one of the oldest maids.

We thought now she would relax but soon she started rambling "Oh God they all are going to be here, God what about their house? Oh yes I have already made Raja clean it, oh God where is this stupid ANJU, even these kids are not here!"

"Oh, God kaki what's wrong?" (Maharashtrians call their aunts kaki), I went to her and made her sit down on the sofa, and kneeled down in front of her, my eyebrow raised as if questioning her.

She took a deep breath and was about to say something when one of the helpers came and said, "Madam, sir is waiting for you in the car." Aunty just nodded and stood up and was about to go when Dev stopped her,

"Hello beautiful where are you going? We asked you something."

"Not right now kids, Arohi child go to your mom she knows what to do we will be back in a few minutes." Kaki said, to which we had to just nod our heads in agreement as well as shocks.

As she went out of the door, we were about to walk when we were abruptly stopped by a voice that we dreaded to hear at that moment

"Oh, my God, Shweta look who's here? Well, come let's go and welcome my friends." Abha descended through the stairs which lead to the first floor of the Grewal mansion with her voice laced with sarcasm and smoke coming through her ears and nose.

She came and stood in front of us with a big frown on her face. Before she could even say anything I went to her and said, “the patient no. 305 had an attack. I had to do his angioplasty and since we all were going to come together and the operation was a bit complicated we got late I am sorry." holding my ears at the end of the explanation with puppy dog eyes made it. The frown on Abha's face was replaced by a worried expression.

You see when the patient has admitted it was Abha who had helped his family members to get him into the hospital and had called me as I was on a round and she had come to visit me and hence got emotionally attached to him.

As soon as she recovered from the shock she embraced me into a hug and asked, "Is he alright?" I broke the hug and replied, "He is good just some hours of observation then he would be fine I guess." I gave her a smile.

"Come let's see what my mom has stored in for all of us?" I huffed earning a hearty laugh from everyone and a glare from me and we walked towards the dining room where according to one of the helpers my mother was irritating the other helpers

"Uuhh! Who the hell threw that now?" I turned around to be met by another rose petal towards me. Well, it's sweet that I am going to smell like roses but it is alright when we are free and not when we are f****** setting up the stage for our friend's engagement since the past almost 2 hours now.

The helpers assigned by stupid Dev are good for nothing they are working even slower than that of a tortoise.

I and Misha huffed and looked at each other and picked up the glasses filled with water and walked towards Kabeer and Raghav who had turned around innocently showing as if they were working sincerely.

We reached them and slowly tapped on their shoulders, they turned around and before they could say anything we splashed water straight onto their faces which made them still as statues. Their funny shocked faces made us all laugh like there was no tomorrow. Soon the others came seeing the scene and started laughing their ass out.

Raghav gave a strong pat on the back of the two shocked statues and said "We warned you that they were pissed don't mess with them, “see now you have become like that of a drenched cat." which made us all laugh even more.

"My sweet and cute friends if you really care about yourself then run, "both of them said stepping backwards. We couldn't understand for some time but when we saw them picking up the pipes used for watering the plants in the garden we ran towards any direction.

"I am not going to spare you sweet Aruuu" said Kabeer running behind me. "But for that, you need to catch me an...." Before I could even say further could water touched my body reminding me that he has a big pipe which could reach the entrance of the garden.

"Kabeer stop this instance or you would regret it till your last breath," I said trying to stop the water as much as I could with my hands which were not at all helpful.

"No ways pretty girl, maybe I would love to regret it. And you should have thought about it before splashing water on me." Kabeer said, smirking at me.

God knows how but now I and Misha were beside each other and the other people who were supposed to be our friends were laughing like maniacs.

Well, now I really know how it feels when all our friends laugh at our misery and mind you it feels as if to go there and snap their heads.

Soon I noticed that the two idiots who were splashing water on us were going where ever we were going I started running towards our other friends who were busy laughing and didn't knew what was coming towards them when I reached Reha and Nitya they screamed and started running towards the boys resulting to them getting wet "karma's a bitch guys "I said with that Dev snatched the pipe which was in Raghav's hand and made him even wet.

As the land had become slippery Kabeer fell down making us laugh even more. From my peripheral view I saw him collecting some mud and was about to throw it on me but I acted fast resulting in it landing on Abha's face. Who had done her facial just an hour ago; this made her furious.

With this, she herself collected some mud and threw it on Kabeer which unfortunately landed on Nitya. Which made her collect some mud and throw it towards Abha but she moved aside and it landed on dev and this soon ended up in a great mud fight.

I collected a large amount of mud and messed it with Raghav's hair, and mind you no one messes with his beautiful and sexy hair well that's what he says.

"You are really going to pay for this Ms. Arohi kadam "Raghav said and bent down to collect some more amount of mud and charged towards me. I didn't waste even a single minute and started running in any damn direction with Raghav hot on my heels.

"You can't run away from me Arohi." Raghav screamed from behind.

"In your dreams Mr.." I was not able to finish my sentence as I collided with a huge wall.

Wait, a wall in the middle of the garden??

I looked up and couldn't say anything as next thing I knew a huge amount of mud was thrown at me and the wall.

"WHAT THE HELL"

Well, it seemed that it was not the wall but a very handsome specimen.
