Chapter 6

"Hey.." I turned to the woman sitting next to me. Its trixie. "What are you doing?" looking at this paper now.

He brought food that he had placed in front of him. It looks like it will go well with me.

"Wow. Who did this?" My eyes widened as he read the paper on my desk. I don't know what's there and I have no idea what ashong wrote earlier.

"I love you three times a day.." Trixie laughed even more because of what was read. While I was just blinking because of what that guy wrote.

I love you? "Why did calix write a letter like this? It's just childish..”

I faked a smile at Trixie when she looked back at me. I want to say that it was literally a child's mind that did that.

None other than her boyfriend.

Being late

Seven o'clock in the morning.

Trixie called me that I don't need to pick her up because she is already at the university. I asked her if what car she uses, but her line is already cut. I didn't even ask if I would go to his classroom later.

Trixie attitude change this fast few weeks. She didn't move me too much, I asked her if she's okay. He just nods. I don't know if she still notices my feelings towards her. That's what I see every time we're together.

I want to tell her about my feelings on winter. But I have second thoughts. I dont want to hurt her in that way, I don't want to hurt her because somehow she has become important to me.

I grabbed the towel before entering the bathroom. It's seven o'clock but I'm still waking up. I'm definitely late for my class and I'll probably get in at eight o'clock. After i prefer to go out i approached nanny corazon who is still fixing my food. It still makes me wonder.

"Are you coming in?" I nodded as an answer.

"I'll just eat there, eat now.."

"Drink what I made first. You will drive on an empty stomach, your stomach might get cold.” she handed me the cup of milk. I even winced because he often prepared milk for me instead of coffee.

"Don't drink milk baby, it's the last time. I'm not a child anymore.."

"It is better to drink milk than coffee. You'll just get sick."

"Tsk. Okay fine.." I dont have a choice to drink this milk she preferred for me. I also put it on the table before saying goodbye.

"I'll go first.."

Nanny Corazon nodded. ”Go home early later. They said you had a family dinner at a restaurant.." I glanced at nanny again. Family dinner? "Today is Richard and Angelina's anniversary. They want to be with you.."

"Why don't the two of them go on a date? "Come with me, Philip. You keep your heart away from your parents too much.." I sighed before looking away. I think I heard what nanny said. Yeah, I heard that line. Because it was winter.

"What time is it?"

"At six, they say they will go home early."

"Alright. I'll be home early.." nanny smiled at what I said. I still feel nanny's love for me more than mommy. Yaya corazon is my nanny when im young. Until now she never left here and never left me .I am thankful because at least someone is serving me.

In the car, I headed to the university in a hurry. There was a bit of traffic near Fatima but I was able to get inside almost in a hurry to park.

When I looked at my cellphone, it was past seven o'clock. I can't make it to class because I'm thirty minutes late.

I'm not awake at all. I'm not tired either, but my sleep was too long. I'm not thinking about anything except winter. I'm broken just because of my thoughts.

I still can't focus on the basketball finals this month. The championship will be held at holycross this month. It's their anniversary and the last match will be held there.

I'm honestly losing my appetite for that game. But every time I think about being with winter, my sleeping body suddenly comes alive.

Love has completely defeated me.

"Philip!" giovanni's voice echoed inside the cafeteria. I wanted to come because winter might still be here. But it was these two men that I fell in love with. "Your scape on your class?"

I sat on Jacob's side. He was not in the mood because of his appearance. He has food in front of him but doesn't touch it. A man who has been ruined by love.

"I'm late.." that's my answer on Giovanni's question. He was in front of me while he chewed juicy.

It's good that one has no problem. The one who gives up is still a problem because he just ignores all of that.

"You came home early yesterday, are you still late?" I have a good sleep tonight. I'm also awake so please don't disturb me.." Giovanni laughed. "I'm still the messy one? Isn't it your heart that's troubling you?"

"Shut up." Your not contented, philip. I told you about this. Stop putting a label on a one girl if you cant serious her in the end.."

"The wise one gave advice, huh?"

"I'm smarter than you." he smirked. "Your heart is not buy one take one. That's just one, if you weren't sure about one you shouldn't have been in a relationship.."

"Stop preaching to me, vanz!"

"I'm right. Look at him." he pointed to the man who was still out of place. Jacob just looked straight as if he was thinking about something far away. "That's just love but sanity has run away." jacob glared at him. giovanni immediately distanced himself because of his evil look.

"Don't fucking ruin my silence!" jacob holds his spoon. He stirs his food but doesn't take a bite.

I shook my head. Shaira left for America. He went with Noah to study there. That was his ex-girlfriend from the province who we didn't know was uncle samuel's daughter.

This is a big revelation. I didn't think that, well shaira is beautiful, it doesn't look like it's difficult just from the looks. She looks like uncle samuel. He is a true monteclaro.

I finally approached jacob to inquire. This man is kind of monster, his aura is scary and I don't know how he answered shaira.

"Hey, I want to ask something." He didn't bother to look at me. He wasn't in the mood because he was brokenhearted.

"Don't ask him. He isn't in the mood." Giovanni whispered.

But I insisted. I put my arm around Jacob before asking what I wanted to say "How can I get the girl I like?"

Jacob faced me with a blank stare. But he gave me a short answer.

"Fvck her" I got away from what he said. I almost choked on my own saliva because of what he answered.

"W-what did you s-say!" I almost stuttered for what he answered.

"I don't repeat my words. Philip" he rolled his eyes before continuing to eat his food. But i can't move on about this topic. I want to know the real moves he used "How did you and Shaira become?"

He looked at me again emotionless. "I fuck her"

"What the fvcking per*rt!"

Giovanni laughed while shaking his head. This guy is also one. I already know what he will say.

"That's our best tactic." Giovanni grinned. "Forced her, then you can have that girl"

I laugh sarcastically, that is far from happening.

"I can't do that. That girl kicks hard, I might just get knocked out again!"

"Shit. I remember that night. Your nose even bled!" Giovanni can't stop his teasing. The laughter was so loud that it was taking over the whole of Fatima.

"Are you referring to her?" we both look at the right side of entrance when jacob pointed the girl. Here she is, I don't know that jacob will get what I'm talking about right away even though he has an idea that we are already with trixie. "She already has montemayor. That's her standard, a nice guy that you can't do anymore. A very high grades and good performance in basketball."

I was shocked by jacob's behavior. "Your really my true friend jacob. You are very supportive, I was touched." i almost said that in a sarcastic way. I was not only belittled, I was put down and belittled forever.

But i cant control myself not to stare at them. My head is growing in annoyance, how dare that guy to touch what is mine?

"You can take him away from calix. But make sure you break up with trixie first.." giovanni commented again. I turned my head to where he and calix were going. They lined up to buy, that man had his arm around winter's shoulder. It's annoying, it's good to twist his hand "Giovanni is right. Its too selfish to own someone else if you are already in a relationship." Giovanni agrees on what Jacob said. He's nodding while looking at winter. "Why did you like that girl?" giovanni held back his laughter because of that question from jacob.

My lips twitched because of them both. "Nothing, I just like her. She's so hot!"

"You want to be arrogant, why not me?"

"Damn you!" She's not leveling on Trixie's body. She wasn't even attractive." I was shocked by what Jacob said. " But she's beautiful. She just hasn't idea how to fix herself."

"You're right. Winter is gorgeous for me, even if she's not attractive like the other girls. But she can satisfy me, her past is strong for me."

"So, you just want Trixie because she's attractive. Because you used to be big?"

"What the hell giovanni!"

"I am right. Winter is your target to bully before. There's nothing like it in your taste."

"But she's my favorite flavor now."

"You insane." Jacob shook his head before standing up.

I held my breath.

They no longer have winter and calix inside the cafeteria. I don't know where they're going but I can't look for them now. I need to go on my second class to maintain my good grades, I will also pass calix.

Lunchbreak we returned to the cafeteria again. This day is a big surprise for our exam. I couldn't even do a review because I was just day dreaming before going to bed. I know there is an exam today! Damn, Im failed today. 20 over 50. What that freaking score philip!

"There was a mess at the bar last night, there was a woman getting into trouble." I'm not interested in what giovanni is saying. I'm also not in the mood because I haven't seen winter since a while ago.

Will he not eat?

"That's business too, Villamor is the son of a business man, do you know him?" I shook my head. "The name is Luna Nieves, vivian is with her."

"I don't care about them." Giovanni was embarrassed because of my answer. I know that Vivian is her taste for this month. But I care.

"That's winter!"

"Where?" I stood up before opening the entrance. But they're just senior high. The girl he's talking about isn't there. I glanced at him again and she's secretly laughing while whispering on Miguel.

"When it's winter someone cares, our friend's life has changed."

"Who is winter?" Miguel asked but didn't sound interested.

"The nerdy girl before. The one he kissed before."

"Okay." Miguel nodded. He looked around the table before taking the food I bought for winter.

"Don't fucking touch that!"

He looked bad. "Can I have just one?"

"Why don't you buy, you have a lot of money!"

"Its that winter right?" I turned to what Miguel was pointing at. But I only thought about it again because he was just fooling me. And then I saw Miguel chewing the chicken fillet I ordered for winter.

"Your d*m boss!"

"Fuck, its that just chicken fillet!" he hissed when i punched his arm.

"That chicken fillet is for winter. Take it out. "I swallowed." he leaned back. I was shocked before looking at giovanni who was almost laughing.

"I will prepare my donation for your dead heart"

"Shut the fuck up!"

"That's why I don't want to fall in love. It will just change you, from sane to crazy "At least not a girl like you."

"Wow. Coming from you, your a chicksmagnet before philip. Don't clean up." I'm just kidding. I leaned back in my seat while looking in front of me. Maybe winter won't eat anymore, Or maybe calix took him out?
