Chapter 9 I Loved You Rehan

Akshita was eating and Rehan could do nothing but stare at her. it was as if Rehan had suddenly realised how cute the girl sitting in front of him is. he had a sudden urge to hug her, to kiss her adorable lips.

Akshita looked up from her table having a bite of fried daal and chapati at him. she accidentally had some gravy on her lips. She looked at him with question in her eyes and asked him raising her eyebrows 'what? '

Rehan nodded his head to say 'nothing' and told her with the act of his hands 'there's gravy on your lips'.

She chuckled with embarrassment and took out a tissue from the box kept on the table and wiped her lips.

is it gone now? she asked child like.

Rehan for two seconds couldn't take his eyes off her.

uhh.. yea.. he said bringing him back to his senses and said it's alright now in a very low voice.

'what the hell Rehan.. what shit are you doing? are you out of you bloody mind? you cannot have feelings for this girl.. any girl but this girl. come on! Rehan, this love and all is not your business! ' Rehan thought inside himself.

listen, I need to go to the washroom! I'll just come okay? said Akshita.

yeah! I'll wait for you. he said.

Akshita went to the washroom.

'what the hell was that feeling? come on! Rehan! you're a player! this feeling is not love but lust, yeah, I'm sure it's lust! just how can I confuse it with something so silly! aahhh... well if it's lust then don't worry Rehan, soon she's gonna be all yours! ' Rehan thought to himself and smiled a monstrous smile.

Just how could you be so heartless Rehan? asked Yuvika with too much shrillness in her voice. this voice brought him back from his fantasy world where he was imagining Akshita.

what the hell? shouted Rehan at Yuvika.

what's so good in her that is not in me? huh Rehan? how could you have the courage to do this to me? I have loved you so much and what did you do? broke my heart? why? said Yuvika and broke into tears.

Rehan sighed in disgust. I don't think I did anything wrong with you! I mean come on! Yuvika, you too know that I never forced you to do anything with me. when I was interested in you I approached you but then if I didn't fell in love with you then that's not my fault! said Rehan

but I loved you so much! said Yuvika with tears.

Yuvika, listen to me! I had told you beforehand that I just like you.. and it doesn't mean I love you.. when I saw you for the first time at the bar I found you really cute.. I had this urge to know you but then when I got to know you.. I didn't find anything that much interesting in you.. and so I told you that I didn't wanna be with you anymore. that's it! tell me where did I do wrong? said Rehan
