Ch. Eight

Chapter Eight

I let out a breath of relief once I made it inside my car.

I honestly hate school. It's like why kill us with such boredom?

Also, it being college means that I spend over $300 for a couple of classes that are boring as hell.

But oh well, I'm there to get a career. And become a smarter and better person.

Also, today was pretty good. I mean, Peter hanged out with me like all day in between classes like it was high school all over again.

I was the geek and he was the playboy of the school.

It's college, so no one judges you. Which is actually pretty good.

I looked out the window to see a girl and boy making out in the rain. Then started my engine and pulled out of my parking spot.

"How were we today?" I ask Mai while putting my hair in a bun.

"Pretty fantastic. But my class got cancelled so I'm going to be helping you out with the night shift sweet cheeks." She says pinching my cheeks and smiling at me.

I gave her a smile.

"Why thank you dear one." I say in a southern accent.

She grins then heads back to the kitchen. While I go start the cash register.

"Well hey." Peter says walking up to me.

I look up at him and smile.

"Hey." I say.

"So, I was wondering if you want to go on an actual date with me this weekend." He says grinning at me.

My smile grew even more.

"Hmm we'll certainly." I say trying not to show my excitement.

"Great, I'll text you when." He says giving me a wink and walking away.

I blushed and then started to look for some book shelves on Amazon.

"Oh my goodness Andrea! Tell me everything now!!" I heard Mai whisper/yell.

I groaned.

"Mai, how about later?" I ask her pleadingly.

"Fine later then, but I still want the full story young lady." I heard her mutter back.

"And you will." I whisper back.

Three hours later, Mai and I were closing when my phone buzzed and I look to see it's a text from Peter.

I showed Mai, and she was locking the door.

She gave it a quick glance and then looked at me and grinned.

"So he's picking you up on Thursday at seven thirty?" She asks me still grinning.

"Yeah I guess so." I say smiling.

That's in two days, I have time to get ready within two days hopefully.

Two days have passed, and to say I'm excited would be an understatement.

He's picking me up in four hours and twenty three minutes, but who's counting?

"Andy you need to calm down." Mai says sighing while reading a book.

We're closed today because every once in awhile Mai's aunt gives our company a whole day off.

"I'm going to take a nap before he gets here, just wake me up when it's time." I tell her while walking into my bedroom.

Napping is good for the soul.

"Come on and kiss me." I tease him while leaning against his car.

He chuckles and then wraps his arms around my waist and brings me to him. While looking down at me the whole time.

"Yes m'am." He smirks.

He then grabs my chin lightly and tilts my head up. Then crashes his lips oh so gently on mine then we start to kiss.

I get pushed against the car hood and the kiss starts to get heated. Then my legs wrap around his waist and he groans then starts grinding himself against me.

This made me moan.

"Andrea.." He grunts.

"Andrea!" A voice yells.

"Wake the hell up!!" That same voice says.

I instantly sit up on my bed. To a smirking Mai looking at me.

"Peter is here, don't worry he's waiting in the shop downstairs. You were having a special dream about him just now weren't you?" She asks me still smirking.

I get off my bed and put my shoes on with my face beet red.

"Shut up Mai." I muttered while grabbing my phone.

She just laughs as I'm making my way through our apartment and out the front door.

Once I made it downstairs, I smiled at Peter and he grinned at me then checked out my outfit for the evening.

"You look amazingly perfect Andrea." He says smiling at me.

I blushed.

"Thank you. So where are we going?" I ask him shaking my dirty thoughts away.

He grabs my hand.

"We're eating dinner at my condo." He tells me while leading me out of the bakery.

When he led me to his front door, I was kind of anxious because I know he's rich, but I want to know what the hell his place looks like.

He took out his key and unlocked his door.

Once he unlocked it, he opened it all the way and led me in first then came inside right after me closing and locking his door.

"Then there was light." He says.

And then the lights got turned on and I was in awe with what his condo looks like.

"Now tonight's dinner is lobster. I hope that you like lobster." He says gesturing me to follow him.

Which I did while looking around.

This is bigger than my apartment.

"Yeah lobster is beautiful, and your place is delicious." I say.

Then groan.

Seriously Andrea?? The place is beautiful and the lobster is delicious....

"Thank you beautiful." He chuckles.

I blushed at that word beautiful.

"So let's begin this date shall we?" He asks while looking down at me.

I look up at him and nod.

It's the start of something new.
