The place where I became a stranger

I reached home. I was not in a pleasant mood. My clothes were wet with blood. I went inside the house through the door. Before I reached the stairs, a woman's voice echoed in my ears. I turned around and saw an old lady who was in her late forties standing behind me.

“Where have you been?”

She is averagely built with orange skin; she has a frustrated feel about her. She has a watchful, close set, brown eyes, small ears, and thin eyebrows. She has short, straight, dark brown hair. She has short arms, a short neck, toned legs, powerful hands, and a wide torso with modest breasts.

Her name was Nicola Larkins. She is my mother. As I saw her, I gave my head a nod of frustration. I pretended I did not hear her and proceeded upstairs.

“Heath, stop and answer my question,” she asked with an angry face. I stopped and shifted my gaze towards her. “Umm... I was with your beautiful daughter-in-law and her brother,” I said with sarcasm. “Do you know how annoying her brothers are?”

Nicola gave me a grumpy look. I lowered my gaze for a second, then looked at her face. “Your father is asking about Isabel. You should have brought her home with you.” Before she said anything, I interrupted her rudely.

You should tell him that he should not worry about her. She is my wife, and I can take care of her.” Nicola suddenly took hold of my arm and pulled me to herself. She then looked into my eyes.

“Keep your voice down. You do know how your father thinks about Isabel,” Nicola said. She barely whispered. I burst into laughter. But the next minute, the smile on my face faded away. I looked at Nicola's face. “I know he loves his daughter-in-law more than his son,” I said. My voice was a mixture of sadness and disappointment. I then proceeded upstairs.

“Where are you going?” Nicola yelled. I sighed. “I am going to get my shirt from my room,” I yelled while nodding my head. Nicola ran upstairs after me. “It is not your room anymore,” Nicola said while taking hold of my hand.

I looked at my mom with narrow eyes. “Mom, I already know,” I said while jerking my mother’s hand. Afterwards, I went to the room to my left. I closed the door behind me. I slowly walked towards the closet, and as I opened the door,

Suddenly, a girl comes out and tries to kiss me on my lips, but I stop her by putting my hand on my mouth.

Short and wide-bodied with brown skin, she has a mad feeling about her. She has beady, angular, light blue eyes, a pointed chin, and large ears. She has short, curly, light brown hair.

She has a long neck, toned legs, broad shoulders, a thin torso with very large breasts, and short arms.

Her name was Dianna Bell. She is my childhood friend and neighbor. “Ohhh, I know you want to kiss so badly,” Dianna said with a big smile on her face. I took hold of her hand and chuckled. “No, I never wished that,” I said while leaning towards her face. Then I pushed her aside with both of my hands.

I then reached for the shirt from the closet and put it on. Dianna took hold of my hand. “Come on, I love you, and I know you love me too,” she said while trying to kiss me on the cheek. In the interim, I heard my mom's voice.

I suddenly shoved Dianna into the closet and closed the closet door. “What are you doing here?” When I looked up and saw it, it was my older sister.

She has fair skin. She has candid, narrow brown eyes, thin eyebrows, and a narrow nose. She has shoulder-length, curly, black hair. She has toned legs, a thin torso with no chest muscle tone, a non-existent waist, and long arms.

Her name was Summer Larkins. She looked at me in astonishment. I pushed her to the side with my right hand. I then walked out of the room through the door. “Where is Isabel?” Summer asked. I felt anger in her voice. I sighed. I then proceeded downstairs. I saw a red bag on the kitchen counter.

I went to the fridge, took out the orange juice, and poured it into the glass. I then took one sip, and Summer snatched the orange juice glass from my hand, which made me angry.

I yelled. “What is your problem?” She gave her head a nod. I asked where your wife is because you know that you should take care of her. She should not be out there in this condition,” Summer said while walking to the kitchen sink.

I went to the chair and sat on it. I sighed. “She did not need my help. Also, do not worry about her because she is with your beloved Cole.” I then took a pause for a second, and a minute later, I started speaking again.

“Do you know he is in town?”

Summer is hesitant before talking. “Shut up,” I smiled. I then leaned forward and put both my hands on the kitchen counter. Summer sighed. She became sad. “I thought you were going to be a great dad, but after seeing you like this, I am feeling sorry for the child.

“I know everyone has doubts about me, but I am going to take care of her and our baby. I promise,” I said without expression. Before Summer said anything, I started talking again. It is one positive thing for me after a long time. It gave me hope to live.”

Summer burst into laughter. “You are acting like something really wrong happened to you." As I heard this, I raised my head in anger. I yelled. “You will not get what you want because Henry will never agree on this." My voice was a mixture of jealousy and hatred.

In the interim, I saw Dianna going out to the exit. “Summer looked at Dianna for a second, then shifted her gaze towards me. “Where was she? Because when I was upstairs, I had not seen her," Summer said with a curious face.

I suddenly lowered my gaze. I was not looking at Summer directly. “I do not know,” I said in a soft voice. Meanwhile, I laid my eyes on the piece of paper on which a phone number was written. I took hold of the piece of paper.

“Whose number was written on it?” I asked expressionlessly. Summer did not respond to me.

“Do not forget that today Kalisha is throwing a party in her house for you and your wife. And one more thing, you should not worry about me,” Summer said while pouring orange juice into the sink.

After seeing that, I got angry. “Why did you do that?” I said this while shoving her towards the table. As she hit the red bag on the kitchen counter, the bag fell to the ground, and something fell out of the bag.

As soon as Summer saw that, she started screaming hysterically.
