The Shiny thing

I woke up screaming. I open my eyes. "Where is Madi? Where is Madi? I looked around and tried to sit up, but Charlie and Jared pushed me against the table on which I was lying. Jared and Charlie pressed their hands on my chest, trying to hold me down, but I was just thinking about her.

"Let me go. Let me go!" I screamed.

I was drenched in sweat. I had blood all over me. My hands were trembling. There was darkness before my eyes. I was breathing heavily.

Then I heard Dave's voice. "What are you? A girl. Hold him down." Charlie looked at Dave. We are trying here. Did you get the arrow out? Charlie asked. I was still trying to run. I could see only his face in front of my eyes.

"Let me go. Please let me go. I have to talk to her. She is calling me," I yelled.

Then my eyes started glowing and growling. "Hurry, just get the arrow out," Jared screamed. Dave's hands are bloody and trembling. "I am trying" Dave yelled. I was constantly screaming. I was feeling pain.

"I got it," Dave yelled. I laid eyes on Isabell, who was standing in the corner silently. Afterwards, I do not remember. I fainted. I woke up suddenly. I look here and there. When I get up and start sitting, I feel pain in my shoulder and belly. I again lay on the bed. I then closed my eyes.

A second later, I again opened my eyes. I noticed that I was in my house. There was silence in the house. Isabel was also not visible to me in the room. It was already morning. I am still feeling pain in my shoulder and abdomen.

I sat up slowly and put my foot on the ground. I then stood up and walked toward the closet. I opened the closet, grabbed the shirt, and wore it.

I went towards the door, which was open, and walked out of the room. As I walked toward the door, Isabell walked toward me.

"Are you up? Isabell asked.

I said nothing and kept walking toward the door. I put my right hand on the doorknob before I opened the door. Isabell grabbed my hand. I then turned my face toward her.

Before she says something, I abruptly said, "I have some work. I am going out. I will talk to you later." I suddenly turned around, opened the door, walked outside the house, and closed the door behind me. My eyes were downcast.

I did not let her speak. I ran towards my bike and drove away. I was still thinking about last night. I am perplexed by what I saw. I was driving fast. "I should go back there," I said. I turned my bike in the forest direction.

A few minutes later, I arrived at the forest. I parked my bike on the sideway. I got off the bike and started walking. I do not remember where we were, but I can find it. As I was walking further, I heard the movement in the bushes.

I turned my face toward it, jumped, and fell to the ground, screaming. A second later, Charlie emerges from the bushes. I later found Charlie hidden there. I was lying on the ground, moaning. I looked at him in astonishment.

Charlie was just standing there, staring at me. "You are watching what? Would you not help me get up?" I asked. Charlie rolled his eyes. Hmm. What do you think I am doing here?" Charlie said while forwarding his hand to help me stand up.

I grabbed his hand, and he made me stand up. "How did you know I was here? I asked. Charlie smiled. "I am a psychic," Charlie said sarcastically. I said nothing. I am starting to walk in front. Charlie was still standing there. I turned my face toward him.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

Charlie put both his hands on his waist. "If I am not your best friend, I would never come here," Charlie said. I shook my head. "Umm... so, we were here. Can you tell me the spot where we were last night? I asked.

Charlie ran up to me. "Brandon sent me. He is very angry. I mean, very angry," Charlie said. There is nothing new in this; he is always angry. He even does romance in anger," I said with a smile on my face. Charlie grabbed my hand. Ewe, watch your mouth; he is your father," Charlie said with a straight face.

I jerked at his hand. "You did not answer my question," I asked again. Charlie held his head with both of his hands. He was looking agitated. "Jared told Brandon everything—that you were acting crazy last night," Charlie said with a concerned face.

"Hmm, I was acting crazy. I saw her. She was here last night. She was the one who attacked us." Charlie cut me off rudely. "Madi is dead. Do not forget that she was human. She died in a car accident," Charlie said with a sad face.

I shoved him to the ground. "I am not crazy. I saw her last night. She is not dead. She is alive. I do not know how, but she is," I said while sitting on the ground. Charlie stood up and dusted off his clothes. "You were badly injured last night. You do not know whether what you see is real or an illusion."

I looked at Charlie angrily. "I know what I saw. Tell me why you are here." I asked while standing up. Umm... Brandon asked you to bring him. He wants to talk to you. Also, Dave was concerned about you, and he said that he wants to meet you at the police station. Charlie said.

I was listening to him but not paying attention to him because I saw something shiny on the ground. Hmmm. I reacted. While walking toward the shiny object. As I reached it, I picked it up, and I saw it was a heart-shaped pendant.

Charlie shook my arm. "Are you listening to me? Charlie yelled. I looked at him. Look what I found," I said. Charlie looked at the pendant that was on my palm. Charlie then looked at me. "No way, it is not real," Charlie said with a scared face.

I started smiling. Meanwhile, something pushes me and Charlie to the ground. I screamed with pain. Charlie suddenly stood up, and something threw him away. I sat up, and someone wrapped his hand around my neck and started choking me.
