Chapter 6 The Luna is up

Terrick's mistake was underestimating his enemy. The rogues killed several of Terrick's men. The supreme alpha had lost all hope in winning this war

As if on cue, there was a pop sound like something popping in. There standing not too far was Saphira and behind her was king Aaron. king of the vampires. He came along with his soldiers.

   There was another pop sound not too far from where Saphira was standing. This time it was two witch sisters Brenda and Belinda who live in Terrick's pack who pop in. And they came with more wolves who came to assist their alpha.

Terrick gave out a sigh of relief when he saw his people who came to help. Nodding his big white head to Saphira, Aaron, Belinda, and Brenda for the backup.

Without losing focus from the fight, Terrick ran with newfound adrenaline. He fought with a new stigma reaping the heads of the rogues.

   Aaron scratched and sang his fangs in the rogues. And the other wolves who came along join their alpha to fight.

Saphira who is good with swords and has good combat skills joins the fight. Don't be surprised, she's a crazy witch who likes to do things other witches don't like. Like learning how to fight.

   She stabbed any rogue that came her way with no mercy. She chops the fingers of vampires who try to get a hold of her like onions. And chop off the heads of any wolf that is on the opponent's side.

Brenda and Belinda who have no skill in fighting join the other witches in casting spells and sending curses from left to right. Since there was no black witch left, the white witches had no curse or spell to reverse so they cast their own.

   Annex rips off the heads of the rogues with no mercy. Almost like his alpha, he was unstoppable. He tackled and threw the vampires to the ground before climbing on them and tearing their limbs.

Terrick's team killed a good number of the rogues. Either by clawing or biting or ripping off their heads. Or by stabbing and chopping them. 

  Or making their blood boil before they die.

A few of them tried to escape when they saw that they couldn't win against Terrick's team. But the supreme alpha wouldn't have that. His mind linked with his beta and told him to follow him and chase the few who tried to escape.

The two of them in their beast chase the rogues. When they finally got a hold of them,. 

   They killed them like chickens enjoying the sound of their voices crying and begging for mercy.

The battle finally ended with Terrick winning of course. They took in heavy breaths panting heavily. And cheered for being victorious.

They gathered the cascades of the rogues lying on the ground, sucked with blood, and burned them so those sneaky black witches won't use them for their witchery.

While they carried the dead soldiers and took them home to give them a befitting burial.

  Terrick walks up to Saphira to thank her. But before he could say anything the witch said " I told you you might need my help"

He chuckled and then thanked her for coming and for the extra hand she brought with her, it looks like they will be winning this fight after all.

    It's been six days after the fight between wolves and witches, and Terrick hasn't returned to his company. He decided to stay behind with his pack. The pack has been in the hands of his gamma Philius and his delta Amodeny for far too long.

In a pack, there is the alpha who is the first In command, and Luna has the same status as the alpha. 

   And there is a beta who is the second in command, the gamma the third in command and lastly the delta who is fourth in command.

The former alpha didn't have a gamma or a Delta. When he is away handling the human world, his gamma and delta rule the pack in his absence.

Terrick walks into his mother's room where she has been lying down on her bed for fifty years unmoving. He held his mother's hand in his. She looks like she is sleeping and a little shake on the shoulder will wake her up.

   He spoke to his unconscious mother for some time showing her side of him that nobody except his beta has seen. He cried wishing for his mom to wake up. You can't him, he was an only pup so he was pampered and showered with love. And his mom was his favorite parent. You can call him a mama's boy. Terrick was so close to his mother that seeing her lying there like this shattered his heart to a million pieces.

    Annex, who was informed that the alpha is in Luna's room, walked into the room to find his alpha/ best friend sitting close to his mother.  crying. Well more like shading tears without a single sound leaving his mouth. He stood behind his friend and held his shoulder while looking at Luna. 

Luna Aurora is a second mother to Annex.      

Ever since he lost his mom, Luna had filled the gap. So he feels the same way as Terrick feels. Though not the same. The two of them stayed in silence looking at the unconscious Luna for some time before leaving.

    Philius brought in the reports of things that had been happening in the pack during his absence, and things look OK. Terrick and Annex walk around the pack looking at things that need their attention.

Meanwhile, back in the pack house inside Luna's room. Ayra is an omega in the pack. Omegas are the lowest rank in a pack. 

  They are the last to eat and the last to leave the table.

Ayra was cleaning Luna's room when she caught a movement in the corner of her eye. Turning around, she saw Luna's fingers move lightly before she opened her eyes like someone who just had a nightmare. Panting heavily like she just ran a marathon race. 

  She grunt and raised her hand to massage her aching head. 

Ayra ran to meet her to ask if she was okay. She offers her a glass of water, holding it while Aurora drinks. Ayra sends a mind link to the guards' station outside Luna's room to inform the alpha that (Luna is up).

This is great news, Luna has been down for many years now and if she suddenly wakes up, the alpha will be very happy.
