GABRIEL'S POV

"Damien you're still new in this world you don't know how brutal it would be if we release this men to fight 

Release my granddaughter and we'll let you and your men go unscratched

I don't want war all I want is what belongs to me" I spoke to Damien hoping to convince him 

I don't want this fight but for my daughter I'll do anything to keep her alive 

Damien stepped forward counting each of his steps "do we have a deal? You give up 5 of your company to me and half of your men"

"Damien you know that's too much how could you be so heartless I thought you were better than your father but it seems like father like son"

"You have 5 mins to take the deal or fight me"he spoke but I can't even tell what to do 

I had only six company who produce amulets and some other goods that are been imported in and out of the country 

Without those I'll go bankrupt in some months 

I know what Damien wants he wants to use my company to merge to his and when he finally does that he can use it to conquer NASA which she doesn't know and then he'll rule over everybody 

But I won't let him 

I'll fight him till my last breath 

When it clicked the 5th minute his men fired and my men covered me 

I wasn't going to leave like a coward am going to fight 

I was heading for Damien 

I'm so gonna kill him for this stress 

When I entered the hall way with 3 of my men 

I saw some of his men mounted to protect him

My men hide by the corner and I showed up to distract him while my men take down all the men in there by Silently killing them all

When I showed up two of his men pointed their guns and I raised my hands in the air

"What are you here for Gabriel we've already settled things what else do you need"

"I'm here for my granddaughter haven't you done enough I endured with your father till he became sick 

I bet he has told about a certain serial killer

You want to hunt her and kill her cause of the lies your wicked father fed you 

Even though she doesn't know the truth once I leave here I'm gonna reveal every damn thing to her 

I'll never let Nasa face what her parents faced in the hands of your father now could you do me the favour of handing my granddaughter to me"

I said smirking at him he raised his face and menacingly walked to where I stood but before he could reach my men shot the two men behind me and he shocked and stilled 

"Stay back and put your hands up"

He did when he saw my men show up from their hidding place with my granddaughter with them pointing a gun towards him

He scoffed at me

"I thought your dad trained you so much to be prepared for this kind of thing but seems you're a total failure I can imagine how scrumpled his face would be seeing that you're a full-time asshole"

"You think you won already when the war just begun"he said without a care and before I knew it he kicked the gun in my hand and brought out one from his back then shot at me on the leg and I fell on my knees

"Take lelia away I'll get back to you guys"I told my men 

"But sir"

"Do as he say"we all heard a voice and turned to see but there was no one 

When Damien noticed we had a third party he pointed his gun at me ready to shoot

"I'll be wasting my time toturing you old man so just die already he pressed his gun button and the bullet came out aiming straight for my chest but I dodged it not without it hitting my shoulder I hissed in pain

I expected another bullet to pierce my chest cause Damien I know wouldn't miss a bullet without shooting back 

When I managed to open my eyes I saw Damien on the floor and a lady facing backwards 

Seems she hit him after he shot me but who the hell is that lady 

It's no one else than the already known serial killer even though she wore a silhouette and a mask to cover her face 

I would always recognise her even in the dark 

Next thing she jumped and dissappeared 

Damien looked unconscious then I took that time to escape with the little or no strength left in me 

I met Richard on my way and I almost got a panic attack thinking that I escaped only to meet my doom

But thank goodness it was one of Nasa men 

So he helped and we escaped through the back of the house and entered into a car 

Our car and two other was on a row

I asked about lelia my granddaughter and I was told that she was in the other car 

Even though I was in pain I'm glad that I saved her 

On reaching my house 

Our personal doctor was called to come treat me and some of my men who sustained some injuries 

I was yet to know our casualties

When I was wheeled to a room I would be treated my granddaughter was taken to her mother 

But then my door open and there was Nasa

"Weldone for killing and injuring my men Gabriel"she said with a stoic face 

"I don't need to tell you how things went cos from the look of things you know it more than me"

"Yeah you're right am not so heartless I decided to save your ass when you were about to be deleted so you should be thanking me"

"You're more heartless than you know 

You should be sympathizing with me now 

Cos I and the men tried our best but here you're boasting about saving my ass when I never asked for your help!!"

"There he goes so ungrateful"

"Hmmmpp how did you get past the fighting scene"

" I disguised like one of his girlfriends and made my way past his guards 

I didn't follow the front row 

I wasn't there to fight the army and who the hell is that guy tho"

"You don't know him??"

" I don't I didn't even see his face"

"Well he's the son of Don Vito the Italian mafia lord and from the news I heard his father has handed him over the title 

He's now the new lord and he's going to hunt you Nasa he knows the serial killer's name but doesn't know what she looks like"when I said that her eyes dilated like she was being hit 

"Nasa I have something to tell you that you don't know and you have to listen to me"

"Nasa you might think am the one who killed your parents but I swear am not

We were separated because of how situation was 

I was older than him so I was forced to find a work to sustain the both of us since it was just the two of us 

It wasn't easy to find a work but a friend of mine linked me up with a man 

His name is Don Vito in his prime when he ruled he accepted me after several begging and payed a good amount though it was an illegal job 

We went for operations and so many other things I never told my brother what exactly my work was I don't want to stain him with my life or let him worry 

But oneday Don Vito went to fight in a village by then your dad was married and you just 5 then 

We wanted to overtake a particular man who proved stubborn to Don Vito 

We visited him by surprise 

When it broke out to war 

Don Vito commanded us to kill every resident of that village and my brother and his family was there 

I knew I had to do something else all of us would be dead 

I called out wayne my brother when we were trying to avoid don Vito and escape the soldiers fighting 

Then your mom got hit by a bullet on the chest 

Blood bursted for her mouth and nose she couldn't sustain it I covered your face from seeing your mother lying dead on the floor 

When that happended I knew we had lost the fight before it begun 

Your father couldn't let go he pick up a gun from a dead soldier and started firing with the anger and bitterness in his heart he couldn't watch his wife just die without him doing nothing"

I watched a year drop from her eyes but I continued anyway

"I was just there not knowing what to do then you were there crying and looking around your father was in my front aiming at any scapegoat soldier but his bullet finished then don Vito came up and fired at him right in his forehead 

I shouted this time the shot back at the soldier 

But due to you were facing me you didn't see the man fire at him 

You thought I was the one 

There and then I took you away 

But some days later as always Don Vito found me and he took you away from me after beating me to stupour 

I couldn't fight back I just gave but when I thought I died I woke up to sunrise and i realised I was still alive 

Since then I worked all the days of my life before forming the little gang of mine who were my saviour and brothers 

He came back again when he learnt I was alive cos I was a threat to his lordship 

I was going to expose his evil 

He now captured my granddaughter

I was still grieving my wife's death when he took lelia away 

I swore to bring her back even though it meant me dying 

But as God may have it he fought with a serial killer which is you 

I don't know how that happened but I heard his wife died in the fight and he was convicted in the hospital ever since before handing over his lordship to his son Damien

So Nasa tell me what happened then you were with them"
