"Alissa? Is that you?" The king asked in shock when our eyes met for the last time but I could not answer him when the scenario around me suddenly changed.

Luke's whole body went cold when he heard Alissa's uplifting scream. He quickly ran towards the royal guard who was currently stalking Alissa and pushed her away but it was too late. Alissa was no longer in her place and only the piece of Alissa's burnt clothes was found there.

Luke clenched his fist and immediately grabbed the royal guard by the collar who had done everything. “What did you do to her ?! Where is she ?! ”
