Rosetta's POV
"Yvonne, what the fuck?!" Nicholas asked. So he does know her. There was this intense look of anger that crossed his features just like most unfaithful men, they always get angry.
"So, I'm not going to take that too personal though it hurt, but I'll have you know that your husband was the one trying whatever." I said, rolling my eyes at both of them. "And we weren't even doing anything."
I slightly rubbed my cheeks, trying to feel better about the slap.
"Husband?" Nicholas scoffed and then I figured something out. They aren't married.
"Are you both not married?" I asked, just to confirm.
"Hell no!" Nicholas exclaimed, his eyes turning cold. I turned to look at the so called Yvonne, I was burning inside of me. I raised my hand and slapped the daylight out of her. I had to. It made me feel better.
Yvonne tried to come for me but Nicholas held her, yelling at her to stay calm. I went back to the bed and I took juice while they argued. Nicholas did not do much talking, he was able to dispose her off seconds later.
He chuckled when he saw me sipping juice, looking so unbothered.
"That was a pretty strong smack." He crossed his arm on his chest.
"I got a pretty bad one too." I said, not looking at him. "And honestly, you should get one too."
"Why?"
"I'm never a girl to fight over a man and this was all your fault, so you deserve a smack on the face." I pointed out.
"How about you give it to me?" Nicholas asked and our eyes met. We held that eye contact for a while and my lips parted slowly.
Why does he have this stupid effect on me? Just a little flirting and I'm already drowning in his absolutely gorgeous eyes.
"I am sorry about that by the way." Nicholas apologized and I nodded.
"What's her deal though?" I asked and before he could answer, I replied. "You know what? I don't actually care."
Nicholas scoffed and then chuckled. "You're a pretty funny one."
"Now that you've saved me, I'm highly grateful for it by the way." I spluttered.
"When can I leave or am I permanently tied to this place?" I requested, finally getting my head off him.
"Erm... about that, I'm not sure I can let you leave until I'm sure the threats against your life have been neuttalized."
"So, I'm your prisoner."
"Guest. It sounds better that way."
"This is the frigging 21st century and you're keeping me here against my wish?"
"Not when you say it like that. Think of it like I'm trying to keep you safe." Nicholas explained, seeing my restlessness.
"At least, can I get out of this room or whatever this is and get a hang of this place?" I asked and he nodded.
"Okay." I stood up, walking towards the door.
I saw how bad of an idea that was when he closed the door just when I was about to touch the handle. We were back in another compromising position that I definitely enjoy.
I swallowed all the saliva I had as we stared at each other. I was pretty nervous about something I didn't have to be. I pushed against the wall and he gave me enough space, enough for him to bend over and look me in the eyes.
It took all my willpower to resist staring at his ocean blue eyes.
"What are you trying to do?" I asked, barely hearing my own voice.
"I need you to tell me everything you can remember." Nicholas demanded using the same thin voice I spoke with.
"Well, I have a dog named Silverback, my name is Rosetta and I have a best friend named Bella Brown. " I explained slowly as he moved closer to me.
"Rosetta." Nicholas called my name, making it have some sort of afterspeak effect. It rolled on his tongue and I could think of more things that his tongue would do that pretty well. "Do you remember your surname, Rosetta?"
I shook my head slowly and I kept my eyes on him.
"Well, that's still a pretty good start." Nicholas commented as he bent over to my neck. He took a deep sniff. The feeling of his warm breath on my neck made me shiver so much that I could barely control myself.
"Can you remember anything else?" Nicholas asked and his hot breath struck harder. Was he trying to seduce me or what?
"Not that I can recollect." I shook my head and he stood upright. I placed a hand on his chest and pushed him back slightly. "Come close to me like that again and I might be forced to use that scalpel."
"If you say so, milady." He gave a mock bow and then opened the door. "First, I'll have you meet the seer so she can check you out and help you figure out whatever's up."
"Please, don't tell me you believe in fetish stuffs." I chuckled and he smiled.
"I don't. My mom does and the seer has been right most times, why not just try her?"
"Can I get a tour first?" I requested and he shrugged.
"First, I've gotta tell you, the people here aren't as nice as you'd expect."
"I don't expect anyone to be."
"Okay then." Nicholas said as he gave me a tour round the house. I was trying to find a way of escaping this place but it looks like a fortress. There were no routes of escaping except the front gate and only a psycho would try to escape through those huge gates. I knew with time I'd figure something out but I wasn't sure how much longer I could survive here with a dangerously handsome and tall guy with ocean blue eyes and a girl that is absolutely in love with him and now hates me.
We walked back into the manor and it was a quite big and beautiful one. I was having a good sight of it when another lady walked in on us. She looked a bit older and her face seemed contorted with anger.
"How many women do you actually do?" I whispered to Nicholas and he shot me a glare. "And you like them this old?"
"Why did you let this witch hit my Yvonne?" She shot straight at Nicholas. Now I was sure she wasn't his girl.
"Erm... Rosetta meet my mom, Sandra...." Nicholas introduced.
I try to wear a smile but she seems to hate me already.
