Rosetta's POV
Memories rushed into my head but they all felt like the same ones repeating themselves over and over again and it was hitting every part of my head, making me scream like I was having my last moments on Earth. It was like slamming two hammers on one head simultaneously and consistently.
Nicholas had his hand all over me, only in appropriate places, trying to help me. I heard him calling out for someone but that wasn't really my concern. He carried me on to the bed with his sturdy arms and he held my hand. He caressed my head and kept cooing me like a child till the pain warded off. A lady walked in and held a syringe up. She was doing the push a little out thing and she injected me with something.
"Sleep, stubborn, sleep." Nicholas cooed softly and I slowly drifted off to sleep.

I woke up alone in the room and I could not be more thankful for it. I'd have enjoyed the pretty boy's company but being alone was all I needed at the moment. The memories I had back were hazy ones. My name is Rosetta, I have a dog named Silverback and I have a best friend named Bella. That was all. All the memories were surrounding these three people and the incident of the other night, nothing else! I racked my head harder but I wasn't sure I even wanted them back if they'd come with the headache.
What the fuck happened to me? And where the heck am I?
I forced myself off the bed and my stomach grumbled hungrily. I made for the door and tried opening it but looks like my captors or saviours do not want me escaping. I ran my hand round my stomach and rested back in the bed, thinking of a way to escape this place.
I have to!
I was deep into my thoughts when a lady came in. She looked gorgeous but she had a stethoscope around her neck and I could easily tell she was the doctor that injected me the previous night.
"Ah, you're finally awake." She observed, then walked closer to me. She ran her hand around my face to check my temperature and then used her stethoscope on me. "You're quite better now."
"Is this a... erm....hospital?" I asked, looking at her. "Can I sign myself out and leave now?"
"Sorry, you can't. You're a guest of Mr. Nicholas." She explained and I signed. "Well, I'm Matilda and I'm the doctor around here."
I nodded my head then bit my lips slowly, thinking of more ways to escape.
Not long after, a maid walked in with a table filled with foods of different sorts and my stomach rumbled massively. I remember people bringing food to me like this but I could wrap my head around nothing. I deserted my thinking for when I'm done with this sumptuous looking meal. I got into it and I began devouring the food. Matilda watched me and chuckled constantly.
"You do have an appetite." She commented.
I was about replying when Nicholas walked in. Our eyes met for a few seconds. That was all the time I needed to compose myself. I slowly coughed and cleared my throat. He signalled to Matilda and she left the room.
"I see you have a good appetite." Nicholas said as I continued with my food, looking sternly at it and not him.
"I see everyone here says the same things." I eyed him and he chuckled.
"You have an attitude, Stubborn." He observed, throwing me a look I didn't quite understand.
There was weird silence where he watched me eat. It was like he enjoyed it and to make it worse, it didn't feel creepy, in fact I did enjoy it though I was a bit nervous.
"How's your head?" He asked and I ran my hand through my head.
"Are you asking for the physical or the mental state?" I inquired, trying not to stare at him too long. He was a piece of art!
"Both."
"I'm fine." I responded then stood up. I walked close to the window, where Matilda's tray was. I eyed the scalpel again and was ready to use it as my weapon of mass destruction. I turned to look at Nicholas and he had the part that I'd drawn blood from covered.
I held the scalpel when he wasn't looking only to take another look at him and to see he was already walking towards me.
"So, what do you remember?" Nicholas asked as he kept walking towards me. I could not organize my thoughts with him walking towards me.
"Stop coming close." I protested but it only urged him to.
"What's your name?" He asked, walking towards me but I kept walking backwards until my back hit the wall. Nicholas stopped right in front of me, insanely close to me. He held his right hand over my hand and slowly bent his head a little closer to my face. I was shivering. I was trying not to think.
"What's your name?" He asked again.
"Rosetta." I responded as calmly as I could. His head drew closer to my neck and he sniffed me in. I fought hard to keep the moan that tried to escape.
How in the heavens do I like that? I slowly reached for my pocket knife and I held it close to his stomach. I was going to threaten him when I heard him scoff.
"You should really stop making silly attempts on my life, Stubborn." Nicholas said and my cheat thumped. He trailed his left hand from my shoulder to my sides and then to my back. I slowly bit my lower lip, finding it very hard to resist him. I do not have my memories but I know that this is absolutely not a normal posture for me. I was taking very deep breaths and he was too. We weren't talking and that made it worse. I should probably talk since pushing him away isn't happening.
We were still in that compromising position that I was weirdly enjoying when the doors flung open. My eyes and that of the lady that just came in met. I could see only fury in her eyes. I hurriedly pushed Nicholas off and stared at the woman like I had wronged her.
She was absolutely gorgeous, from her head to her toes and she possessed a perfect body. Why was this Nicholas guy not all over her already? What more does he want?
The women of Milan definitely hate being cheated on. She walked so fast and furiously that I did not know when a slap landed on my face.
I held my cheeks from how badly her hand burned. What did I just get myself into?
