Chapter 5

Hotaru P.O.V

Today is the day, I already came from school and did my homework, not that it matter though, and said my goodbyes since I don't know how long I'm gonna be there. I'm currently on my way to meet Itachi so he can teleport us, I can teleport too but I don't know where Konoha is!

- Hi there Itachi-sensei!

- Someone is in a good mood, how was your day?

- Fine, normal...the usual. Can we go now? - he smirked at my answer.

- Come here and let's get going.

I did as he told me and there we went! Suddenly we were no longer in the same place as before we were at the front gates of Konoha.

- Now Hotaru, see that big tower there? That's the Hokage tower. You're going without me since I can't be seen. You know what to do, correct?

- Hai (yes) Itachi-sensei! I'll be fine. - I kindly smiled and then he disappeared. I went to the 2 people that were guarding the gates to talk with them.

- Hello.

- Who are you? - one of them asked.

- My name is Hotaru.

- State your purpose here. - the other said.

- I want to become a ninja of the Leaf village. So... could you please take me to the Hokage?

- Sure. - both of them said.

We started walking towards that tower, when we finally arrived one of them knocked at the Hokages door and then we entered. There was a guy in a green jumpsuit...weird.

- Hello child, what's your name?

- Hello Hokage-sama. With all my respect I would prefer to talk to you in private.

- Very well, Kotetsu, Izumo and Guy please leave. - he said kindly.

- Hai, Hokage-sama. - they said in unison.

- Now child we're alone.

- I'm sorry...but we're not. - he looked at me confused, surprised and amused. I closed my eyes and counted how many Anbus were there...1....2....3....so there's 3 of them.

- There are still 3 people here, one on the left, one on the right and one above us.

He smiled at me and said.

- Guys come here. - and they appeared.

- Please leave us. - he said with a straight face.

- Hai, Hokage-sama. - after they left I no longer felt their chakra.

- Now child...Who are you? And what do you want? - he said with a close eyed smile.

- I'm Namikaze Hotaru and I'm here because I want to become a Konoha ninja. Oh, by the way...Itachi-sensei you can come in now. - I said smiling warmingly.

- Well done Hotaru. - Itachi complimented me while poking my forehead.

The Hokage looked surprised to see how well trained I was.

- Hokage-sama, she's been training for 2 years. She is ready to become a Leaf ninja, but I want her to enter the academy so she can be with people from her age. - Itachi said with a calm voice.

- I see...Thank you Itachi for everything. You really look like your father Hotaru.

- Thank you Hokage-sama. - I said with a sad smile.

- Very well, Hotaru you can go explore the village and come back here after lunch so we can talk a bit more. - the Hokage said.

I nodded and looked to Itachi with sad eyes remembering that I was not going to see him for a while...I suddenly hugged him.

- Thank you Itachi-sensei. I'll miss you.

Then he bent down to my level and kissed my forehead.

- I'll miss you too. - he said with a small smile and with that I left them so I could explore the village.

Itachi P.O.V

After she left I looked at the Hokage and he said.

- How good is she Itachi?

- On a scale 1 to 10. Ninjutsu 9, Genjutsu 9.5 and Taijutsu 8

He looked more surprised than before and then I continued talking.

- She is almost as good as the Sage Tsunade as a medic-nin and also learned the teleportation jutsu that her father used.

- That's remarkable. - he stated.

- She is in a Jounin level and there is somethings that you need to know as well.

- What is it? - he asked worried.

- She learned that alone just by reading scrolls I gave her. Also she is able to control fully the Kyuubi, there is only one problem...if her brother loses control of his Kyuubi she might not be able to control hers. Besides that there is nothing to worry about.

- Thank you Itachi. That's all I need to know, anything else?

- She was always putted aside by her "parents" due to their fear of her, could she stay with someone that actually will care for her?

- Something is telling me that you already have someone in mind. - he said smiling.

- Yes...I have. He could also teach her some other things. Hatake Kakashi is the best for it.

- I see...I will think about it. You can leave now. I'm sorry for everything Itachi.

- Hai, Hokage-sama.

And with that I left, I hope she'll be okay.

Hotaru P.O.V

Well...I explored everything, I already had lunch. Now it's time to go see the Hokage. I wonder where am I going to stay. Oh well, let's get going.
