CHAPTER 9

Kendra's POV

We both laughed as we got out out of Mr Wexler's office and we were laughing all the way and talking jokes until we reached the hallway and everyone looked at us weirdly and I didn't know why until Daszle looked at me and gave me eye signals at my hand

Then I realized I and Kyle were holding hands I tried to shake my hand off but he seemed to squeeze tighter as he pulled me along with him

"Heeeyy" I said in a low tone

"Don't you wanna be my friend" Kyle asked

"Uh...yeah, but that doesn't mean that you have to show me off"

"Yes! But I have to"

"Ughr let go off my hand" I said even more louder

But it seems that any word related to 'let go' is meaning 'squeeze tighter' to Kyle and he pulled me to a table because it was free period, people hang out a lot, he sat down and also pulled me down to sit on a chair next to him, then he turned his chair so he could face me, I glared at him but he just continued staring at me.

He looked at my eyes to nose(which was fake), my lips, then he looked down lower below my shoulder you know where it is my boobs, jeez pervert much?

"What are you doing?!" I said and slapped his arm

Then he hit realization and said

"Can I ask you a few questions, to uh... Get to know you?" He asked and scratched the back of his head

"Yeah, sure'' I replied and he smiled

"So... What's your full name?" He asked

"Kendra Tiara"

"What's your favourite colour?"

"Purple"

"How old are you?"

"17 years old" I said and he smiled

"Where are you from?"

"Delta state, Nigeria." His eyebrows rose when I answered

"Really? you're a Nigerian?"

"Yes. Didn't I just say that?" Dude this is obviously what I just said, he nodded and smiled

"You got any siblings?"

"Yes. A younger brother, three older sisters and an older brother, he's 6 years older than I am"

"Care to mention their ages?" He asked and put his hand on his chin, why does this interest him so much

"Oldest sister is 29 or 30 I suppose, the second is 25, third whom is brother is 23, other sister is 19 and younger brother is 13".

"Ohkay. Who is your best friend?"

"More like WAS" I replied

"what you mean?"

"Vaira stupid Vendoll, we came here together and she's already ditched me"

"Why'd you add stupid?"

"Because she really is stupid, you know what? I'll see you at dinner I'm just really pissed off" I said and walked out of the hall.

"Kendra! Wait!" Kyle called as he caught up to me, and then some guy yelled

"Whoa! Kyle has made the nerd angry" and all kyle did was just glare and laughed sarcastically

But I read his face he was NOT happy and I bet if that guy says any other annoying thing, his life switch might go off.

"Kendra! Kendra wait" he called as he ran towards me while I turned hallways

"What!?" I asked and he stopped abruptly

"Are you mad at me?"

"No! I'm sorry for yelling but I just want some rest that's all. Bye!"

"Sure I'll keep you company"

"No! please I don't want company pleeaase"

"Nope"

"But Kyle I..."

"No way!"

"I have to have a..."

"Absolutely not!"

"You can't tell me what to do" I said as I shoved him, but he didn't even move an inch and right now we are in the dorm of rooms.

"Well can't I at least stay?" He asked

"No I said I want some rest! Okaaay!!? Now just leave me alone"

"Wait, where's your room?"

"Why d'you want to know?"

"Well because you know mine" Oh my God! It was really his room! Ahhh! I slept in a guy's room, shit.

"Alright mine is directly opposite yours, thanks for your company and goodbye!"
