Chapter 6

Robert Winter is a clever man from his experience in dealing with people daily, was how he could tell when he has met an excellent kind-hearted person, and Blue Smith is more than a perfect match for his son.

His son, who is a stubborn and arrogant man, who is too busy partying and flaunting the Winters name, instead of helping make it great. But that will all change, and the person that will make his son Ace bend will be the pure and innocent Blue.

Once Robert reached home he was notified by the butler that his wife and son were already waiting for him in his study, Robert made his way to his study room when he opened the door he saw his beautiful wife.

Robert turns to his son, who has a leech hanging on to his arms. It’s good she is here, it's a perfect opportunity to tell them the big news.

Everyone looked at Robert as he walked to his mahogany table and poured himself a glass of expensive brandy before he spoke.

" I have decided that Ace needs to marry."

Robert could see the lovely face of his wife and Aces current girlfriend, Britney Sanders, Ace himself was quiet. Before Robert's wife could say anything, he continued.

"don't be too happy yet dear wife, I said that Ace needs to marry, but it is not to Britney, it is to someone of my choosing, someone that will be perfect for Ace."

After Robert had said all that needed to be said, All three people in the room stood up and started talking all at once, Rober could see Britney trying to hold in her anger while his wife and son were asking the same question. Robert knew that Ace would not go through with this agreement; he put his hands to silence everyone before he was speaking again.

"If you don't follow this agreement Ace, I will stop you from inheriting any of the family money, and you will have no access to any of the company

even the one you are in charge of. I will strip you away from your title and take away your house and cars."

"The person I chose is still attending high school. He is seventeen years of age and still lives with his parents; he has one older brother that works as a financial manager at a well-known company.

Blue Smith is a carrier, and his parents are average working citizens. He will arrive here within a week, and the wedding will take place two days after."

After Robert finished explaining the details he didn't wait for a reaction and walked to the door, he opened it then walked out but not before hearing Britney complaining to his wife.

Britney has been with Ace for five years now it should be her that is getting married to him. Robert couldn't care less if she agreed or not, she is a thorn to the Winters name the faster she goes, the better.

Just as Robert was about to open the door to his bedroom, Ace was hot on his heels, he knew his son wouldn't agree, but he had to do what is best for his son. He will learn that Blue is the one for him and will make him a better person.

Ace caught up to his father then spoke.

“Father, how can you just tell me now that I am to marry someone I’ve never met let alone a kid who still attends school, no I won’t marry him.”

“You will marry him.”

“I love Britney, I am going to marry her, and I know that she feels the same way as me.”

“Are you blind or just plain stupid? That woman does not love you; what she loves is your money, not you. I wish you could wake up from your dream and see reality.”

With those final words, Robert opens his bedroom door once he enters, he shuts the door, indicating that the conversation is over, leaving Ace standing in the hallway alone.

Ace was in deep thought when he entered his dads’ study again Britney saw him enter and quickly rushed to him, asking how his conversation with his father went.

Britney will not let Ace go through with the arrangements she turns to Aces mother and starts to complain and whine. At this moment, Ace could feel a headache forming from the back of his head. For the first time that he had to know Britney, he found her annoying and bothersome.
