CHAPTER 5

Entering the palace was something Isabella never imagined. together with the other girls that were to enter the palace were given special training and the time to go to the palace had come. the palace white shuttle bus which carried 10 girls in total and their recruitment manager who was in charge of escorting the girls to the palace reached the grand gate of the palace entrance. when they reached the bus, the security guards checked everyone who was in the bus together with their identity cards in order to make sure there was no suspicious person entering the palace. the gate was opened and the bus went in and drove for another almost 1km before they reached another grand gate. the palace was on a hill and it was very big and very grand. the second gate opened upon sensing the shuttle bus. upon arrival, the went out of the bus and all the girls couldn't hide the surprised look on their faces. they all had never been in the palace before. the castle before their eyes was so grand that all the girls gasped in amusement. the palace looked especially regal with the country's flags flying and the extra guardsmen were seen all over the place ''wow'' Isabella said her words barely coming out. ''I've always dreamt of working in the palace. I cant believe my dream is actually coming true.'' another girl standing besides Isabella said with excitement. ''I heard the princes are to die for'' another girl said. ''I wish I could get myself a prince. 'the third girl said. Isabella looked at the girls and just couldn't believe they had entered the palace with other ulterior motives unlike her who was looking for a place to hide and get survival. as they stood still admiring the palace they had just entered, a group of smartly dressed girls led by and older woman came into sight and they moved to where Isabella and the other girls were. the older looking woman was clad in an all black dress slightly below her knees and the other girls behind her were clad in one piece black skirt dresses slightly above their knees with a white trimmed pinafore with black body stockings and black high heels with head dresses tied around their hair. they girls looked smart and neat. ''you are all welcome to Zion palace. my name is Hilder the head maid.'' the older woman said and she continued. ''I believe you all passed through the needed training and I expect you to live in the palace according to its standards. as you all are aware, this is a palace not an ordinary home you all are used to. I expect you to be professionals when it comes to your work.'' the girls listened carefully to what the head maid was saying and after that they were sent to their allocated dormitories. ''in the allocated dormitories you'll find your uniforms according to your measurements. prepare and come to the maids hall and get the rest of the training.'' the head maid said and the girls did just as they were told.
