"CHAPTER 7"
I was amazed when I entered Sir Clint's new house. The reaction of my companions was the opposite. I was really amazed of what I'm seeing right now, while the three of them seem to be nothing, obviously used to a luxurious life and a beautiful house.
their house is simple when viewed from outside and it's not that really big, but inside this house screams luxury. As soon as I step inside, I feel like I'm rich, because their house has the power to make people rich.
I was still feasting my eyes on the beautiful design of the house when I felt someone pull the hem of the dress I was wearing.
"Milk, Nanny!"
"Huh?" I'm still floating from amazement.
"Wait up, I'll get Crystoff's baby bottle bag from the car," said Sir Clint, who didn't know if it was me.
Crystoff followed his sister who was now sitting on the sofa in the living room and was busy fiddling with the tablet she was carrying. I followed them and placed the handbag I was carrying on the center table.
When Sir Clint got back, he handed her the baby bottle bag and went out again, maybe there was something left in the car.
I looked inside the bag, there was a bottle containing Crystoff's milk, so I took it and placed the bag next to my handbag.
"Crystoff, here," I pointed to the milk he was asking for.
"Go, get your milk, Crystoff!" Crystal ordered her brother who looked annoyed because Crystoff was listening to what Crystal was playing on the tablet.
I'm the one who came closer and maybe the two will fight.
I handed the bottle to Crystoff and that's when he stopped harassing his sister. he took the bottle from me before waving his hand.
"Load!"
When I picked up Crystoff, he immediately rested his head on my shoulder and then fell asleep.
I looked around the whole house again when I looked at the main door and Sir Clint came in just in time with my things. By the way, my things were still left in the car and Sir Clint returned them. I followed Sir Clint's gaze, he went upstairs and opened a door and entered there, that would probably be my room.
That's why we don't have any other things besides my things because the things here at Sir Clint's house are complete. he made sure the house and things were ready before we moved. Wow! We really are, I feel like they're part of the family even though I'm just the children's nanny. Faye feeling!
After a while I felt Crystoff's milk bottle fall. The child fell asleep. what is it doing and staying up? Maybe it was tired because of its rudeness earlier in the flight. What is being asked when we pass something grabs his attention.
I saw Sir coming down the stairs so I walked to meet him.
"Sir, where is Crystoff's room?"
He didn't answer me.
He slowly approached me... because Crystoff was going to be taken away from me.
"Follow me," he ordered.
I was like a fool following Sir Clint's every step. I was just looking down so I didn't notice when he stopped when he was in front of a room.
So, "Aray!" I bumped into his hard and wide back.
"Stupid!"
Sir, it's great to be stupid! it's his fault because he just stops without saying anything.
When we entered that room, Sir Clint laid Crystoff on one of the two beds there. the bed with the blue bedsheet is Crystoff's and the other bed has a pink bedsheet that is definitely Crystal's.
"I bought this house for us because I want to have our own house here in the Philippines. crystal and Crystoff have their same room, because Crystoff cries when no one is in the room. The room next to it will be your room."
"I'm not asking. Sml?"
"What did you just say?"
Come on! It was supposed to be charot-charot, I didn't realize that I had made it sound.
"Hehe, it's nothing, Sir. Just don't understand it."
Because Sir Clint is a fool, when asked he doesn't answer or doesn't answer sparingly. 'If you don't ask, you just talk. I don't know about him!
but I suddenly thought that I should make the most of it when this Sir tells a story because it's only one day when I hear his voice.
"CHAPTER 7" (CONTINUATION)
"So as I was saying, your room is next to this room. It's already there
your things. for now, follow me in my office room."
Sir has an office here in their house.it's so small that you wouldn't think it could fit Sir's table and swivel chair and two visitor's chairs, there's also a bookshelf with books neatly stacked, it's also very clean inside, maybe because it hasn't been touched yet or because it doesn't want clutter Sir Clint.
"You're now the new nanny of Crystal and Crystoff," Sir began when we were both sitting, we were just in the middle of his table. "Your responsibility is to take good care of my children. and not just that, I want you to prepare their meals and do the household chores that's how I asked you before if you can do those things. I didn't hire a cook or any other housekeeper, because I don't want anyone else in this house except you, driver, and body guards of my children. you don't need to clean the whole house, and do the laundry, because someone comes here every week to do those jobs. My children have their body guards for their safety, they will watch over you where you children go. but take note, you will first inform me where you will take the children, don't you ever take them anywhere without my consent. I don't trust someone easily."
in my mind... why did he immediately hire me to take care of and watch over his children especially since he doesn't know me completely yet?
"If you think I trust you..." Turns out this Sir can read minds. "You're wrong. My father is the one I trusted because he suggested you to me. but if Daddy makes mistakes in what he trusts... good luck to you, Faye, right?"
"I'm not what you think, Sir. Even though I come from a poor family, I will be proud that we are rich because of my parents' advice. so I can't do bad things to my neighbor."
This Sir Clint's trust issue is serious, even me, an innocent person, is still being treated. If he wants, I will show him my police clearance that will prove that I have no criminal record.
"I'm too beautiful to deceive other people," I finally whispered.
"Looks can be deceiving."
The man's hearing is really strong.
It's up to him what he says to me. As long as I am, I will prove that he is wrong in thinking about me.
