Chapter 7 Troy Was Angry

Vivian wanted to laugh at the woman's reaction. Louise was on the edge of crying and that poor woman couldn't even speak a single word when she introduced herself.

Vivian's smirk got wider as she saw tears slowly streamed down that woman's face.

''What the hell are you doing, Vivian?!'' An angry Troy stepped inside the office and quickly, wrapped his arms around that woman protectively. ''What did you do to her?!'' Troy demanded, he looks at her with a poisonous eyes.

Vivian felt scared all of the sudden but fought it, that was not the time to be scared.

She shrugged her shoulders and looked directly in Troy's eyes with the same intensity he was giving her.

''I just introduced myself,'' She answered sweetly and gave him her most innocent smile. ''I am your fiancé aren't I?''

Troy's eyes got colder and Vivian could tell that the man would snap at her any moment now. She felt a slight victory brewing inside of her by seeing those different reactions on Troy's face.

So he's still human. Vivian confirms.

''I want you out of my office now,'' Troy ordered her. Vivian shrugged and got her purse.

She was about to leave when she turned around to see Troy Callahan wiping that woman's tears and comforting her with sweet words. Vivian could not help but to feel a fang of jealousy in her heart.

She couldn't leave them like that, so for her final blow, she called Troy's attention and smiled widely at the both of them.

''You should send her an invitation to our wedding, darling. She will be your ex-girlfriend very soon.'' Vivian said sweetly and gave Troy Callahan a wink before leaving the office feeling triumphant.

No one could make her feel inferior. No one can bully her as she would definitely fight back.

After the dramatic turn of events in Troy Callahan's office, Vivian got her phone and dialed her private investigator's number. She asked him to find out about the background of the woman she just met. Troy Callahan's current girlfriend.

Vivian doesn't know why but the moment she laid eyes on that woman, she felt an urge of anger towards her. Even just hearing her breath annoys the hell out of Vivian. Amd she will make sure that the girl will be kicked out of Troy's life. After all, Troy will not be allowed to have some girl when they are married.

Vivian got a call from one of her friends- Kelly. Kelly wanted to meet her and grab a drink. Of course, Vivian knows the reason. Kelly wanted to know about the latest score between her and Troy. As what they call her friend, the number one gossip girl of the whole elite class.

Kelly knows every secret, that's why Vivian did not hesitate when she was asked to meet. Kelly might know a thing or two about that Louise girl.

Her friend wanted to meet her at their usual hang out, it was almost eight in the evening when she arrived at the place. The crowd were getting wild and drunk. She can hear the music blaring loud as soon as she got off her car. Vivian adjusted her eyes when she entered the club as strokes of blinding light came rushing.

''Vivian! Hola girl,'' Kelly greets her and kiss her on both her cheeks. ''How are you, are you busy preparing for the wedding?''

Vivian shook her head, ''No dear, I hired the best wedding planner. I don't want to get my hands tied to something.'' She said and Kelly just nodded at her in agreement.

''Hey, I want to ask you something. Do you know any girl named Louise?'' Vivian asked.

Kelly got a cigarette from her purse and lit it, ''Hmm yeah, I think Louise is the poor girl Troy currently dates.'' Kelly answered as she blew some smoke. ''Her family used to be very rich but they got bankrupt.''

''And why is that?''

''Because of your father of course!''

Vivian was confused. How can it be that her father was the reason behind the bankruptcy of that girl's family?

''Well you see, her family business was about to merge with one of the biggest pharma in the industry but your father worked his way in and got the proposal instead. So that leads to your company growing and her company dying.''

Vivian was beyond shock to learn the reason beyond their company's success. Could it also be the reason why the woman already knew her right before she introduced herself? And now, all their lives are in a tangled mess.
