Chapter Eight

(TWO WEEKS LATER)

It has been two weeks since Micheal Vasilias woke up from his coma.

Mr. Benjamin Smith forced Micheal Vasilias to engage in various aerobics in order to improve his fitness during the two weeks he was awake.

One cool morning, Micheal Vasilias was watching television in the living room of one of the guest rooms when Mr. Benjamin Smith entered the living room with two other men.

"Do you think he is ready to meet with His Imperial Majesty?." One of the two men asked Mr. Benjamin Smith anxiously while looking at him inquisitively.

"Exactly!! I was thinking about the same thing............I'm not sure he is ready to meet His Imperial Majesty yet." The other man said to Mr. Benjamin Smith warmly while looking at Micheal Vasilias who was busy watching television.

"(Sighs!!!) Why would you say he isn't ready to meet with His Imperial Majesty?? We've been observing him for two weeks and he has shown no sign of abnormalities so why do you think he isn't ready to meet with His Imperial Majesty??." Mr. Benjamin Smith said to the two men warmly while sighing heavily as he stared at them inquisitively.

"Well.......Nothing." The two men answered Mr. Benjamin Smith warmly in a stuttering tone while looking at Micheal Vasilias.

"Relax, Guys! His Imperial Majesty gave an order two weeks ago for his grandson to be observed for two weeks and the two weeks has elapsed so............

"So what if we bring him to His Imperial Majesty and then he starts showing signs of abnormalities?? What are we gonna do if that happens??." The two men asked Mr. Benjamin Smith curiously while looking at him inquisitively.

"Is that why you interrupted me?? Why are the both of you even worried?? His doctors have given us the green light already or were the both of you not listening when Doctor Patson said we can take the Prince to His Imperial Majesty??." Mr. Benjamin Smith answered the two men warmly while looking at them inquisitively.

"Well.......

"Mr. Smith!!" Micheal Vasilias, who heard Mr. Benjamin Smith's voice as soon as he turned off the television to get some rest, called out while smiling and waving at him.

"Oh My! Micheal!! How are you??." Mr. Benjamin Smith said out warmly while smiling at Micheal Vasilias as he walked towards him.

"I'm fine but bored.........I didn't know you were around till I heard your voice." Micheal Vasilias said to Mr. Benjamin Smith warmly while smiling at him.

"Yeah, I was talking to those two gentlemen." Mr. Benjamin Smith replied Micheal Vasilias warmly while waving at the two men as a gesture of inviting them over.

"Mr. Smith!!" Micheal Vasilias called softly while grabbing the hands of Mr. Benjamin Smith.

"Yeah?." Mr. Benjamin Smith answered softly while looking at him inquisitively.

"When am I gonna be allowed out of here?? I wanna go meet my grandpa......He must be so worried......He must be thinking that something bad might have happened to me since I didn't show up the day I promised to show up." Micheal Vasilias said to Mr. Benjamin Smith softly while looking at him with a somber expression.

"You are such a filial son.......I'm Impressed but rest assured your grandpa is fine.......He knows you are okay and fine and he is dying to meet you." Mr. Benjamin Smith said to Micheal Vasilias warmly while smiling at him.

"Do you know my grandpa??." Micheal Vasilias asked Mr. Benjamin Smith while looking at him inquisitively.

"Yeah, I know your grandpa........I know him very very very very well." Mr. Benjamin Smith answered Micheal Vasilias warmly while smiling at him.

"Really?." Michael Vasilias asked Mr. Benjamin excitedly while looking at him anxiously.

"Of Course! Hahahahaha!! I can see that you've gotten a glimmer of hope because of what I said." Mr. Benjamin Smith answered Micheal Vasilias warmly while laughing softly.

"You've caught me!! Now, You are my only hope........You are the only one who can take me to my grandpa because I don't think I can find him on my own.......I can't remember the address that was given to me by my nanny........I've tried so hard to remember but I just can't." Micheal Vasilias said to Mr. Benjamin Smith in a somber voice while bowing his head.

"It's okay, Micheal! Cheer up.......To be honest, I came here to take you to your grandfather.........He is waiting for you as we speak." Mr. Benjamin Smith replied Micheal Vasilias warmly while smiling at him.

"Are you serious?." Micheal Vasilias asked Mr. Benjamin Smith in shock while standing up from his seat.

"Of Course! I can't joke with something that mean a lot to you......That's cruelty." Mr. Benjamin Smith answered Micheal Vasilias warmly while smiling at him.

"Oh My God!! This is huge!! This is awesome!! I'm so excited!!" Micheal Vasilias said out while jumping joyfully, making Mr. Benjamin Smith and the two other men to laugh.

"Mr. Smith!!" Micheal Vasilias called excitedly.

"Yeah?." Mr. Benjamin Smith answered softly while looking at Micheal Vasilias who was grinning widely.

"Can you take me to him now? Huh? Please." Michael Vasilias asked Mr. Benjamin Smith anxiously while looking at him with pleading eyes.

"Of Course!!" Mr. Benjamin Smith answered warmly with a smile on his face.

"Yay!!!." Michael Vasilias squeaked excitedly as he hopped around.

"How old was him again?." The two men asked Mr. Benjamin Smith with their eyebrows raised because of Micheal Vasilias' behaviour.

"Hahaha!! He's 15 years old." Mr. Benjamin Smith answered the two men warmly while laughing softly.

"Micheal!!" Mr. Benjamin Smith called softly with a smile on his face.

"Yeah?." Micheal Vasilias answered warmly while looking at Mr. Benjamin Smith nervously out of fear that Mr. Benjamin Smith might change his mind and refuse to take him to see his grandpa.

"Shall we go see your grandfather?." Mr. Benjamin Smith asked Micheal Vasilias warmly with a smile on his face, making Micheal Vasilias to sigh heavily in relief.

"Yeah, Please lead the way." Micheal Vasilias answered Mr. Benjamin Smith warmly while smiling at him.

"Alright! Follow me." Mr. Benjamin Smith said to Micheal Vasilias while walking out of the living room of the guest room with the two men following him from behind.

Micheal Vasilias walked out of the guest room's living room to catch up with Mr. Benjamin Smith and the two men, shutting the door of the guest room on his way out.

After walking for about ten minutes, Micheal Vasilias finally catched up with Mr. Benjamin Smith and the two men.

"I was wondering what was taking you so long, Micheal." Mr. Benjamin Smith said to Micheal Vasilias warmly while stopping in front of a black gate.

"You were too fast, Mr. Smith." Micheal Vasilias replied Mr. Benjamin Smith while stopping in front of the black gate.

As soon as Mr. Benjamin Smith stopped in front of the black gate, two scanners came out of the black gate and scanned him, making Micheal Vasilias to be marvelled.

"Access granted!! Welcome, Mr. Benjamin Smith." The AI voice sounded before the black gate automatically opened for Mr. Benjamin Smith to enter.

"Grab my hand." Mr. Benjamin Smith ordered Micheal Vasilias while stretching his hands towards him.

"Why?." Micheal Vasilias asked Mr. Benjamin Smith with his eyebrows raised.

"If you follow behind me then the gate is going to shut you out because you don't have a security clearance...........Have I answered your question?." Mr. Benjamin replied Micheal Vasilias warmly while looking at him inquisitively.

"Y....Yes." Micheal Vasilias answered softly while placing his right palm on the left palm of Mr. Benjamin Smith.

Taking a deep breath, Mr. Benjamin Smith walked through the black gate with Micheal Vasilias, followed by the two men and arrived at a mansion with a breathtaking scenery.

"Can the two of you go back to your business??." Mr. Benjamin Smith said to the two men while giving them a look that says I don't want you hovering around my back.

"Yes, Mr. Smith! See you around." The two men replied Mr. Benjamin Smith warmly while walking away.

"(Sighs!!) Shall we??." Mr. Benjamin Smith asked Micheal Vasilias warmly while sighing heavily in relief.

"Mr. Smith, look at those Cherry blossoms!! They are so beautiful!! How can they be here? I thought they can only be found in South Korea, China, Japan, and some few European countries??." Micheal Vasilias said to Mr. Benjamin Smith in a squeaking tone while looking at the cherry blossoms in awe.

"Well, You are right about that........But our country, Gladovia is also famous for having cherry blossoms and peach blossoms like the ones you are looking at here." Mr. Benjamin Smith replied Micheal Vasilias warmly while smiling at him.

"I'm not arguing about that........My question is how can something that's only found in asian countries and some few european countries be found here??." Micheal Vasilias asked Mr. Benjamin Smith warmly while looking at him inquisitively.

"Well, His Imperial Majesty, The Emperor Of Gladovia Empire ordered for these peach blossoms and cherry blossoms to be planted here as soon as the construction of this resort was finished in year 2004." Mr. Benjamin Smith explained to Micheal Vasilias while taking a deep breath.

"Wow!! That's.........amazing." Micheal Vasilias said to Mr. Benjamin Smith softly while chuckling.

"Now.....Shall we??." Mr. Benjamin Smith said to Micheal Vasilias warmly while looking at him inquisitively.

"Yes, we shall." Micheal Vasilias answered softly while chuckling.

And with that, Mr. Benjamin Smith led Micheal Vasilias into the mansion.

Arriving at the living room of the mansion, Mr. Benjamin Smith greeted the bodyguards that were on guard before ordering Micheal Vasilias to sit and wait for him.

"Where are you going to?." Micheal Vasilias asked Mr. Benjamin Smith anxiously while looking at the bodyguards, completely terrified.

"(Sighs!!!) I'm going to inform your grandfather of your arrival." Mr. Benjamin Smith answered Micheal Vasilias softly while sighing heavily.

"What? Are you scared of those bodyguards?." Mr. Benjamin Smith asked Micheal Vasilias warmly when he saw the terrified look on Micheal Vasilias' face.

"Yes, I'm scared of them so please don't leave me alone here." Micheal Vasilias answered Mr. Benjamin Smith in a frightened tone while looking at him with pleading eyes.

"Don't worry, I give you my word that they are not gonna touch a single strand of your hair." Mr. Benjamin Smith said to Micheal Vasilias warmly while smiling at him.

"Really? Are you sure?." Micheal Vasilias asked Mr. Benjamin Smith in an anxious tone.

"Yes.....So don't be troubled and wait for me, Okay?." Mr. Benjamin Smith answered Micheal Vasilias warmly while giving a look of assurance.

"Okay." Micheal Vasilias replied softly while bowing his head.

Mr. Benjamin chuckled softly because of Micheal Vasilias's behaviour before ascending the stairs to go and inform Emperor Roland Vasilias of Micheal Vasilias arrival.

As soon as Mr. Benjamin Smith left to inform Emperor Roland Vasilias of Micheal Vasilias arrival, Micheal Vasilias got up from his seat and started walking around the living room, touching some golden statues that were in the living room of the mansion.

"Wow!! Look at all those beautiful paintings." Micheal Vasilias said aloud while admiring the paintings that were hung on the wall of the living room.

"I didn't know you have a thing for art." Miss Rachel Watson, The Press Secretary Of The Gladovia Imperial Palace said to Micheal Vasilias, startling him completely.

"Hello." Michael Vasilias said out softly while waving at her with his shaky right hand.

Miss Rachel Watson couldn't help but walk towards him when she saw how terrified he was.

"Don't worry, I won't tell His Imperial Majesty that you were touching his golden statues if that's what you are afraid of..........Trust me, I'll keep your secret." Miss Rachel Watson said to the terrified Micheal Vasilias while smiling at him.

"(Sighs!!!) Thank you very much." Micheal Vasilias thanked Miss Rachel Watson while sighing heavily in relief.

"It's okay, You are welcome." Miss Rachel Watson said to Micheal Vasilias in a warm tone while smiling at him.

"I'm Miss Rachel Watson, The Press Secretary Of The Gladovia Imperial Palace." Miss Rachel Watson introduced herself to Micheal Vasilias in a warm tone while smiling at him.

"What's that?." Micheal Vasilias asked Miss Rachel Watson out of confusion.

"Hahahahah!! You are funny." Miss Rachel Watson replied Micheal Vasilias warmly while laughing softly.

"Well, I didn't know that's why I asked." Micheal Vasilias said to Miss Rachel Watson while bowing his head because he was feeling embarrassed.

"Anyways, It's nice to meet you......I'm Micheal Vasilias." Micheal Vasilias introduced himself to Miss Rachel Watson while still bowing his head because he was feeling embarrassed to look at her.

"I know." Miss Rachel Watson said to Micheal Vasilias in a warm tone while smiling at him.

"Wait, you know?!" Michael Vasilias asked Miss Rachel Watson in shock without realizing when he raised his head and locked eyes with her.

"Yes." Miss Rachel Watson answered Micheal Vasilias warmly as she shrugged her shoulders.

"No way!! How can you say you know my name when it hasn't been long we met." Micheal Vasilias said to Miss Rachel Watson while looking at her in disbelief.

"If you don't wanna believe me that I know you then it's okay." Miss Rachel Watson replied Micheal Vasilias warmly while smiling at him.

"You are here to meet your grandfather, right?." Miss Rachel Watson said to Micheal Vasilias warmly while looking at him inquisitively.

"H.....H.....H.....H.....O....W.......Did......You.....Know?." Micheal Vasilias asked Miss Rachel Watson in a stuttering tone while looking at her in awe.

"You are funny, Micheal! Take a seat......Your grandfather will be with you in a moment." Miss Rachel Watson said to Micheal Vasilias in a warm tone while chuckling.

"No.....I don't need a moment." A man's voice was heard from the stairs, startling Miss Rachel Watson completely.

Miss Rachel Watson turned around so she could know the owner of the voice she just heard but gasped in shock when the owner of the voice descended the stairs with a straight face.
