contract

After Jane left home, she got a call from Williams informing her that the date for the wedding had been fixed.

"  I will send my driver to come pick you up tomorrow evening so we can discuss the details of the wedding". 

Williams said from the other end of the phone.

" Oh! OK then see you tomorrow ".

Jane felt like today has been the most dramatic day of her life. Hopefully it has come to an end, she believes she has made the right choice and won't regret it.

Dawn, awaking a new day. Jane started the countdown to her wedding, after today she has nineteen days to her wedding. 

Jane took a quick shower and got dressed,  she booked a morning appointment with her stylist and she was running late. She had a quick breakfast and left the house. 

She got to the salon luckily she was on time for her appointment. She got her hair done and was about to leave the salon when she bumped into a lady, Jane was mesmerised by her beauty,  it was an undeniable fact that the lady was just gorgeous. Jane regained her senses and quickly apologised to the lady.

When Jane turned her back at the lady, the lady gave her a hard cold stare.

Later that evening William's driver came to pick her up. She drove her to the restaurant. Williams ordered him to take her.

He dropped Jane off and drove off. Jane walked into the restaurant and told them about Williams reservations and the directed her to the table. She waited for Williams for more than thirty minutes but he still wasn't there. 

While on Williams side he had a surprise visitor.  It turned out that his lover was back in  town.  Williams has been dating Anabel in secret for over five years, Anabel wasn't ready to get married yet, he kept on pushing the wedding forward.  Jane was never in the picture,  if not for the incident at the hotel he wouldn't have accepted to marry Jane. 

One of the reasons why he never denied the rumour of him dating Jane previously was just to provoke Anabel to marry, which really didn't work out well for him but this time him marring Jane was unavoidable. 

Anabel wasn't happy about this, when she heard that Williams was engaged she put all her work on hold and returned but it was already too late, the date was already fixed and has been announced their was nothing she could do.

She went to Jane's salon to she what she looked like, Jane was the type of girl who's beauty was outstanding like Anabel, she has the type off beauty that charming. You just can't get tired of looking at her.

Anabel wasn't too happy about that,  so when she heard that Williams and Jane were going out on a that she came over to stop Williams or atleast delay him.

Jane continued waiting for Williams, she became hungry but felt like it was rude for her to order before Williams got there. She waited for an hour more and Williams was not there yet. She tried calling him but his phone kept he wasn't answering her calls. 

People around her started whispering amongst themselves, she happened to here one say

" seems like she doesn't knows that who ever she's waiting for stood her up".

She felt embarrassed, at that moment she thought that maybe marrying Williams was a bad Idea but she didn't want to give, she decided to leave the place when she heard her stomach rumbling, she finally remembered that she skipped lunch. She became frustrated, she thought since she was here she might as well have her dinner here.

Jane finally  called for the waiter she requested for the menu, she placed her order and waited for her meal. After a couple of minutes her meal was served. 

While having she heard someone pulling the sit opposite her to hers to sit, Jane didn't want to know who it was she continued enjoying her meal not bothered at all.

She knew it was Williams but it still doesn't change anything,  since he stood her within any reason she might as well ignore him. Williams just watched her to her fill. Normally Jane would not be able to eat in such situation but it was as if she was venting her frustration on the food.

When she was done she called for waiter to bring her bill over, the waiter brought the bill over and was about to hand it over to Williams but Jane glared at him,  he hand no choice but to hand it over to Jane.  Jane paid for her meal and prepared to leave without acknowledging Williams. Williams wasn't bothered by her attitude towards him so when Jane stood up he followed her. 

Jane walked out of the restaurant and tried to flag a taxi. Williams was feed up with her throwing a tantrum. He dragged her to his car and forced her in. Jane turned to Williams and said

"Mr Williams what do you take me for, I am not someone at your beck and call, if you think you can manipulate my feelings for you, you better think twice. As it stands now you need me more than I need your.  Infact I don't necessarily need you, I just like you but that doesn't mean I can't back out from this".

Williams glared at her but it didn't stop her from continuing. 

"I can always leave and move on with my life and don't even think off threatening me, you might be powerful but it doesn't stop people from pointing fingers at you should  anything happen to me".

Williams chuckled and didn't say anything.  He started the car and drove off.  He drove the car to his villa,  on their way there Jane didn't uter a word she just kept looking outside the window. 

When they got there, Williams got down and open the other side of the door for Jane,  she got down without saying a word. They walked into Williams villa. Williams sat down and Jane followed suit without waiting for an invitation. She was in the mood for courtesy. 

Williams gave Jane a cold smile,  Jane wasn't bothered at all. Without further delay Williams stated his purpose.

"The wedding is in nineteen days time, I brought you here to familiarise yourself with the environment, this is were you will stay before and after the wedding so get use to everything,  the wedding planner will be here tomorrow to fill you in on other details of the wedding. If you have any changes to make let the butler know. And this the contract, go through it and see if there is anything you would like to change and if you have any questions you can ask them".

Jane looked at Williams and then at the contract on the table, she picked up the contract and read through it carefully.
