Watching Joanne's pupils tremble slightly, I finally released her, satisfied. I then took a wet wipe from the table and cleaned my hands thoroughly. After her fear subsided, infinite hatred for me filled her eyes. Yet, I stared back at her fearlessly and walked over to the rocking chair, crossing my legs as I stated,
"Joanne, don't even think about how you might get back at me. After all, we go to the same high school, and I have plenty of evidence of your 'glorious' deeds". I taunted, "If you want to ruin your reputation, feel free to keep provoking me."
"Just remember, my dear sister. I am now considered a genius student. If word gets out that you've been bullying me, you might just find yourself homeless," I warned her.
With that, I stood up, walked over to her, and gently patted her cheek. She winced in pain and took a sharp intake of breath, her eyes welling up with tears. Seeing this, I merely scoffed.
I pushed her away and made my way to the upstairs bedroom.
