Chapter 4

Scarlett's Pov

I was standing outside. It was a first for me.I haven't been outdoors since I came to this house. The reason why was because it was a chance for us to escape. A chance for the house to lose their girls. The clear night sky was beautiful.It was also a full moon.

I was just waiting when Andrew and a few other men which I knew to be his friends came towards me.

"How's the birthday girl?" Andrew asked.

"I'm good sir."

"Your friend from last night. Daniel was it?He came by tonight asking for you. Tell me what is it about you that makes all my customers pick you."

I didn't answer him because  I didn't know what to say. I didn't even know the answer to that question. But my thoughts were soon gone when Andrew slapped me making my head whip to the side.

"Answer me, you know how I had people that count my words" He snapped.

"Im sorry sir. I don't know."

"Its a shame really. With you gone my customers will feel the need not to come here anymore. What do you think?"

"I agree sir."

"So have you made your decision concerning what we spoke about?" He asked

"I agree sir I'll wait for three months."

"Do you know what you want for your wish now?"

I nodded.I knew what I wanted.

"Do tell." He said.

"I would like to take Sandra and Martha along with me sir."

"Really two of my girls why am I not suprised ?" He asked

"And I would also like to know where I am going ?" I said

"Okay. You my dear are going back where you came from." He said.

My first house? Oh god Ill get to meet my family

"Thank you sir."I said and bowed.

"Would you look at that. It is almost time."

I was anxious. But excited. Finally I wouldn't be alone. What color would my fur be?

This is a little something so your wolf won't cause trouble"He pulled out a needle with silver liquid in it

'What is that?" I questioned

'Just a little something to make sure you don't shift." He replied

I panicked. Then something inside me burst.I let out a low warning growl daring Lucas to  take another step.I then realized that it was my wolf. His eyes widened in shock at my sudden aggressiveness. He looked almost sared.

The men holding me loosened their grip and I snarled at the teeth bare canines out. They looked scared out of their wits.I  took that as opportunity to get out of their grip.

I growled and lunged for them. I don't

know where all the anger came from but

I welcomed it. But it was lived too short.

Because Andrew had injected me with

whatever that stuff was. My insides burned, images from my uncle drugging me reappeared then I ran as fast as my feets could carry me.

Grab her! She cannot shift." Andrew yelled

Today was I meant to be the  happiest moment n my life but I guess there was never any form of happiness in my life.

My feets suddenly stopped rather abruptly I might add at a pent house before I  could walk away felt two strong hands grab me.

He put me on my feet and I wobbled a bit before regaining my balance. He shoved me until I was in front of him.

Then took in the house, you could hardly tell that it looks like a house. It looks ike trees, vines and bushes in the shape of a house. But you could only notice if you squint your eyes.

The man pushed me forward until we reached what I thought was a door.Then he pushed me through it. I would have been amazed if I wasn't half drugged and scared, we walked through series of  doors.The house was beautiful. It looked like a vintage house. The main stair case,the chandeliers.The marble posts and the furniture. All in all it was amazing.

Then I heard a beep which seemed to be coming from his pocket, he removed it from his pocket and it turned out to be his phone

"Yes, I have informed the Alpha about the strange lady. He asked me to bring her to his office" he said to the person at the other end

The man pushed me until we reached an office I think? He knocked and then bowed. I copied his movements until the door creaked open. Another man came into view and just looked down at me. The man next to me stood up and pushed me forward. Then he pushed me into a chair. I sat and looked around the room. It was huge. The big desk and the Victorian chairs.The shelves with hundreds of books old and new.

The door creaked open and there stood the man I have been searching for my green eyes and he smelt so much like vanilla and looked sexy sitting at the desk. He had black hair and a long car running down his left cheek. He had right eyes that looked hard and cold. But you can tell that they were once kind and soft.

He waved over to the man who left the office with the hand signal and I got up and made my way towards his desk. He looked me over "Mate" we both said

He stood up and took my hands and led us out of his office and i followed his lead.

Since he wasn't a great conversationalist, I decided to talk.

"Do you live here?"

To that, he nodded. It doesn't get old, does it?

The building elevator took us to the fifth floor,and he halted in front of another door, I tensed. I wasn't sure who to expect since I knew practically nothing about his family or life.

Ignoring the heap of filed sprawled on the floor; I couldn't bring myself to turn a blind ye to the mess that had been made out of the living area. Books and binders in a corner,the coffee table congested with apers and books of all shapes and sizes,e nd if that wasn't enough, a heap of freshly ironed clothes were waiting to be put away.

My eyes traveled towards floor to ceiling glass sliding doors opening into a minio balcony turned into a garden which overlooked an equally impressive view.I wondered if the sunset was something hea enjoyed watching on a daily basis.

I snapped out from my thoughts when I heard a tray clank on the coffee table.He had brought in a tall glass of flavored milk and raisin cookies.

"Sorry about the mess. I was trying to get used with doing the work myself an the cleaning lady comes twice a week."he explained as he walked to the dark four sitter dining table,shuffled a bunch of papers and a thick paperback and walked back to where I sat,i "here." he passed me the tray.

I strutted, " Thank you"

"I...I just want to know why you avoided me that day, Have I done something wrong?" His hands were folded across his chest, his butt leaning on the oak shelf. I couldn't see his expressions clearly.

"I'm not sure what it is, so I would really appreciate if you could enlighten me."

"I just couldn't" I said It was dark, but I could see him narrow his eyes at me, "what's that supposed to mean?" He asked

I sighed heavily, how thick could he possibly get."I don't know what to say, forgive me if I was being rude, ."I paused to catch a breath.

He reached out for my hand and I slipped mine into his. He tugged me closer by the waist which did not leave me an inch of space to move. I was pinned to his body, his chest leveled with my eyes. I managed to look up,he whispered. "I want to kiss you baby and at the same time don't wanna rush you?"

I looked deeper into his green eyes. "Help me fight it baby, runaway while you still can."

"I can't, kiss me" I was intoxicated by his rich cologne. I could feel my own heart hammering against my chest, I hadn't realized until now how broad his shoulders were or how deep his eyes looked,deep and hypnotizing.

Alexander grinned. "I'll give you five seconds sweetcheeks. Five."

"Four."

"Three."

"Two."

As if possessed by some daring spirit, I went up on my toes and grazed my lips slightly with his. I didn't miss the shiver that ran through his body. I pulled back, all ready to be thrown out of his house ,but instead he pulled me back giving me a full blown kiss

He slid his tongue into my mouth, kissing me passionately. My lips parted for an intake of breath when his tongue darted and swirled inside my mouth. He smelled of mint and something else I wasn't able to exactly put my finger on. I heard him moan softly as his hand reached for the hem of my tank top, pulling it upward until my skin was exposed to his tender touch. His fingers moved in slow patterns, sliding upward towards the cup of my bra while his other hand caressed my hair.

"Do you know what this means my love?" he whispered in my ear.

Damn my depressing height! He had to lean all the way to graze my ear.

I nodded, still not making eye contact when he caught my chin and forced me to look his way.

He straightened my shirt, and ran a hand through my hair. Caressing my cheek with a back of his hand, he kissed on my mouth again. "I should let you rest" he said making his way for the door.

But stopped dead in his tracks, when he saw  my hand went to touch my chest on impulse,  my heart wanted to leap out of my chest in pain.

Crouching"what's wrong baby" he asked but all I could let out was a whimper.

"My love, you are about to shift, don't fight it dear. I'll shift to my wolf so they could get comfortable" he said running his hands down my arm in comfort.

Then I felt pains in my bones and a sound of bones breaking and when it stopped I realised I had shifted.

" you look beautiful, love" his wolf said

After a minute of silence

She finally spoke to him"My name is Stella"

"Nice to finally meet you." He said or rather his wolf said cause I noticed the colour of eyes had changed.

"Likewise. Im sorry I didn't come sooner." She said.

"Nah it's okay. It wasn't your fault. Why  you look drugged do you remember anything. Talk to me love cause Scarlett doesn't want to talk to Alexander about this" his wolf pointed out.

"I know. I saw everything. I've seen everything we have been through but I can't speak about it " she said.

"So what now?" He asked.

"We wait till they get closer to each other, close enough to tell each other their secrets"she told him.

After a few minutes with them getting to know one another I realised it was time for me to change back.

"Stella?"

"Yes"

"How do I shift back?"

"Just thing ofyour human body. It will be painful. Unbearable even."

Then she gave me back control.

I thought about my human body and shifted back and it was f!cking horrible.I could feel my bones snapping and my skin was burning. When I was done I was sweaty and naked.That was unpleasant I laughed to myself.

I looked at my surroundings and I was still in his room and house.

"Its funny how you can laugh in a situation like this " Alexander said to me with a smile on his face which I returned sheepishly

"Rest my love you would need it" I nodded cause I knew my body needed rest.

He pulled me into his arms as I drifted off to sleep.

'Hello?" I heard him say.

"This is Alpha Damien of the Dark Shadow Pack, What can I do for you Andrew." He said.

"I have no other option but to call you for help.My sister was taken two days ago and I need help to find her."  I heard Lucas say

"I'll give you permission to come onto my territory. I will help you." He said to Lucas.

"Goodbye Mr Andrew"He said then hung up.
