Haseenah’s POV

I woke up the next day feeling nervous, I don't even know how to go about living with Ya Aslam under the same roof when I'm still in love with him and he doesn't give a damn about me, He completely ignored me yesterday like I was invisible.......well maybe I should try being invisible to him, I survive that way I guess.

The knock on my door brought me out of my dee thoughts, I asked who it was before asking the person to come in, it was one of the maid telling me break fast was ready and Mamii calls for me.

"Tell her i'll be there in a jiffy" I told her, she nodded and left the room.

I got up and went into the toilet to brush my teeth and take my bath since I wasn't praying today I didn't wake up at dawn. After taking my bath i wore one of my maxi gowns(I love them so much)and tied the scarf on my head, with a few spritz of my favorite perfume I left the room all that which I did in 25minutes.

Mamii and Abba were already seated on the dinning, i was surprised to see Abba because he was expected later around noon, I jumped on him because I really missed him.

"Abbana, yaushe ka dawo? Ohhh i miss u, I hope you got me what I asked you?” I threw all this question at the same time excited to see him.

"Haba autana, one at a time mana," He said laughing at my antics.

"Ai toh pha, you better tell her, she doesn't know that she has outgrown all this, ko da yake ni ce na kasa hanata” Mamii chipped in.

I looked at Mamii pouting my lips, “Kai mamii I missed Abba so much, I almost died missing him," I said dramatically feigning heartbreak. Mamii and Abba couldn't help laughing at my childishness, then Abba told not to worry we'll unpack together after breakfast. As i was settling on my seat next to Mamii, Ya Aslam walked in and that marked the end of my surutu(talking).

"Abba ina kwana, Mamii ina kwana" He greeted them squatting beside one of the chairs.

"Lafiya kalau, Aslam kana lafiya?” They replied him.

"Lafiya kalau" He answered back.

He chose the seat beside Abba which is opposite Mamii and I, they started discussing about business and school with Abba while we just ate(Mamii and I).

I kept stealing glances at him but his attention was completely off me, I shoved down my food quickly so I could escape but it seems Mamii  always has her eyes on me, for she said:

"Haseenah this food is running nowhere, why are you eating as if you have somewhere to go to" she reprimanded me.

I told her it was because I was going to help Abba unpack that's all "But you should eat slowly not rush" She said again.

"OK" I replied, my voice very low kamar wata  (I do this often though).
