Haseenah's POV

Today is the D-day..... Oh my life, oh my love, this is what I've been thinking of all morning. Today is an exceptionally busy day because Mamii love is really making an effort to impress ya Aslam arrrrrgh......

"How am I going to stand him with what's already between us, even though I really want to forget what happened years ago hell I still love him....

"Haseenah!!!" This was what brought me out from my reverie as I heard footsteps on the stairs, even without looking I know its Mamii and she's obviously annoyed.

"Naam" I answered quickly standing to open the door, she just stood by the door looking at me and I already know what I was in for so before she speaks, I quickly spoke up.

"Awwwn mamii I was already prepared to take my bath when Abba called, he said he's been calling you but you were not picking”. Knowing she hardly cares about her phone and thank God it worked because she replied....

''Yes it's charging in the room now quickly finished so that you can go with the driver to the airport okay ?".

"Yes" I answered closing my door after she left.

I hurriedly took my bath and came out, I checked the time it was already 1:05pm so I did my makeup (a very light one) I brought an Ankara skirt and blouse blue with red flower patterns on it, then I quickly took a selfie.

I took my Mk handbag put on my wrist watch, carried my wallet and phone then came out of the room. I met mamii at the hallway after some small talks I came down to compound, got into the car with Mallam Mudi driving and off to Nnamdi azikwe's airport to pick my handsome devil......(note it I love him though).

We were almost at the airport when my stupid best friends Aeesha who insists that we call her leesha and zahra decided to call me.

"Hey bitches" I said after picking up.

"Good morning to you too honey pie" leesha replied being the sarcastic one amongst us.

"See see" Zahra said laughing.

"Awwwn babes I've miss u ooo, when are you guys coming over?. Zahra was about to talk when leesha quickly took over

''Why should we come sef, wait by the way where are you off to? Because I can hear some noises which means you're not home".

" Yeah, I’m on my way to pick ya Aslam at the airport".

"What!!!" They both exclaimed at the same time, then madam leesha added quickly

"We are coming tomorrow alright?"

"Okay" I answered we then said our goodbyes and hung up.

Aslam's POV

Immediately I stepped out of the plane I was met with the harsh heat of naija, I quickly put on my shades while coming down the stairs. After clearing my luggages, I came to the lobby looking for the person that is picking me up. I kept on looking around to see if I would see someone i know when I heard a voice behind saying,

"Alhaji karami sannu da zuwa, ya hanya" I turned to see mallam mudi one of our drivers, I smiled even though I rarely do that.

"Mallam yauwa, how have you been?".

He replied with 'I’m fine sir”.

"Toh mu karasa motan na can" He says dragging my luggages with him while I held unto my laptop bag.

She was standing beside the looking breathtakingly beautiful that I had to stop moving for a moment, She was busy typing something into her phone which shows that she doesn't know someone is looking at her, the sound of the closing car trunk brought me back to my sense, I quickly made way to open the back door which brought her to the present, her expression shows that she was startled,

"Ya sa..sann...sannu da zuwa" She said obviously stammering, I laughed internally but being the arrogant jerk that I am I ignored her and got into the car, I could see she wasn't happy but ignored it as she turned to the other side of the car and got in.

The journey home was a very silent one, each person with his own thought.. As soon as we got to Asokoro where we reside, I kept looking at the streets taking in the changed scenery. When Mudi parked in the compound she didn't wait a second more before coming out of the car and half running into the house like lightening.
