Haseenah’s POV

“Haseenah!!!” Mamii called from within.

“Naam” she answered putting away the novel she was reading.

“Kina nan kina aikin koh” Mamii said not too strict but obviously almost angry.

Stifling a giggle I said “Lah Mamii I’m not doing anything, I’m just putting away my school stuff as today was my last day in secondary school”.

“Masha Allah” Mamii said. “Yanzun saura jami’a“.

“Eh” I said sitting beside her.

“Yauwa Seenah daman kawata Hajiya Ramlat ce ta dawo daga India, so I want you to go check out those materials she bought before the good once are taken, just pick anyone of your choice sannan next week your brother is coming back from the US ohk...”

“Toh Mamii” she said standing up, mere mention of Yaya Aslam made her mood change, her long time crush despite the fact that he never paid any attention to her, her heart never stopped loving him.... With that thought she sighed and opened her wardrobe, she brought out a plain gown made of different colours.

Haseenah is a fair skinned beautiful girl of 17years, yes she orphaned but she could hardly remember that considering the fact that her uncle and aunt took her as their very own, she lacked nothing with her uncle being a multimillionaire with several chains of companies. She tied her head scarf and picked up her handbag making sure her wallet is there, she came out of her room and closed the door after her.

She bade Mamii goodbye, when she got to the compound Mallam Mudi her personal driver was already waiting for her, getting into the back seat of the car he sped out of the house and into the busy road of Abuja.

Aslam’s POV

He got into his apartment locking the door behind him, at last today he has finished his project . At the age of 23 he has already finished his Master’s degree, established his now flourishing business in Nigeria, his plazas in Abuja and Lagos are now among the best there and he’s also planning on opening more branches soon.

Mamii has been very worried about him or rather still worrying about him and is very eager for him to return, Nobody knows the reason why he refused to go back home for holidays after his first degree.

He can never forget the picture of her face 4years ago when he found that diary, the hurtful things he said to her and now he can’t her off his mind........His heart is on a rollercoaster; his feelings is mixed, at least he has a conscience even though he can’t love.
