Chapter 13

She tried to hide her smile and the thrill she felt because of what he said. Add to that the kiss he made on her forehead. She knew for Reiley there was no malice in it but she couldn’t help but give it a different meaning. She doesn’t know if he's just being deceived by her eyes and feeling but there are times when she feels that Reiley likes her.

There are times when she sees that they seem to feel the same way for each other. But she wasn't sure about that because this one was good at hiding emotions. She is not able to directly confront and ask him because he might think that she is too outrageous .

“Of course not. It's okay for you to miss me. I miss you too. ”

“Ows? Maybe you missed my greetings? ” he said to her, noticing the twinkle in her eye. When he’s smiling like that, his eyes seem to be smiling as well. His eyes were shining as if he was really glad to see her.

"You're easy!" he said and laughed at Reiley's expression. He was pouting like a child. She knows that he’s just acting but he’s really cute and adorable to look at when he’s acting like a child sulking.

“Okay. I'm just leaving. ”

“Hey! It’s just a joke. ” he said to it and held it by the arm to prevent it from attempting to leave. He knew it was just um-a-acting but there seemed to be a hand squeezing his heart while looking at its seemingly departing figure.

He smiled and squeezed both of her cheeks, though it didn't hurt to squeeze her cheek. He knew he was only doing that as a sign of his affection to her. Affection as a friend.

“I’ll never leave you, Rean. So you don’t have to look so heartbroken everytime I’d turn around. ” he said to her and smiled at her. Your smile is affectionate and reaches up to its eyes. He was also holding her face with so much gentleness and was looking at her with so much tenderness. If its gaze was just drowning, it might be he is a father now.

He smiled at it and he couldn't help himself and hugged it. She might only know him for only a short period of time but she trusted him. He knew and felt that Reiley was a good person. She’s sure of that. That’s why he doesn’t hesitate to come out and show his true attitude to it. When she’s with him, she didn’t have to act that she’s okay, that she’s fine. Even though he didn’t know the real reason behind her façade, he respected her decision and kept on supporting her. And because of that, she love him ever more.

With each passing day that she was with the man she became more and more discouraged with it. His simplicity, his everything, she love them all. She loves him.
