Chapter 11

The man did not say a word but only tightened his embrace with her, as if assuring her that he was there for her. She pressed her face deeper into his chest and let out all the anger for herself, remorse and grief over the loss of her parents. She poured out all the feelings she was feeling right now.

“Let it out, Rhianne. Take it all out. Don't stop yourself from coming out how you really feel. ”

Because of that word her tears welled up again. For her entire existence, only now did she cry like this. Just now.

"ARE YOU OKAY now?" Reiley asked Rhianne as she wiped the tears from both her cheeks.

The way he looked at her was affectionate, even the touch of his finger on her cheek was also affectionate. That it seemed to be afraid that he would suddenly break or that he might suddenly cry again.

For the duration of her crying it took pity on her. It didn’t leave her and just let her shed all her tears. It did not stop him but the opposite. It just let him cry. All it did was hug her and whisper comforting words in her ear.

What he did was just simple but what he did helped him a lot. Her embrace of him gave her the comfort she had lost since her parent died. Those words he whispered on her ears serves as her strength. Reiley helped him a lot.

And he is so thankful because this is with him now that he has a breakdown. He didn't know if he could do it if he was alone now. He may not be able to cope with everything and will give up if he goes through it all alone.

She’s thankful that Reiley is here. Her Reiley.

"I'm okay." he said in a low voice. She seemed to have lost her strength because of her incessant crying.

“Good. I’m always here when you want to talk about it, okay? ” she said to him and smiled at him affectionately. The proper opening of his mouth was prevented when he placed his finger over her lip. “Don’t talk if you’re not ready yet. I want you to tell a story when you're ready, okay? For now, just enjoy the warmth of my embrace. ”

Despite the tears forming in her eyes because of what she said she couldn't help but smile. He was touched by what Reiley said. She is happy to know that someone — other than her relative — is willing to support her. He was glad because he met a Reiley who was willing to support and help even though in fact he had only just met him.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome." he said while tightening his grip on her.

He squeezed his body even harder and turned a blind eye. At the same time, a peaceful smile appeared on his lips.

You're not hard to love, Reiley. I only met you yesterday but you already had a place in my heart. If it’s not love yet, I’m willing to explore how it makes me feel for you. And if this is love already, then I’m glad because it’s you. It’s Reiley.
