Damn!
Dian really didn't know that her boss was coming. Luckily, before he could say anything more, she had pretended to pull his hand away.
Now Dian and Arkan stood facing each other in the hallway leading to the bathroom. It was a bit far from the VVIP seat with Arya. Dian had stood on tiptoe to crane her neck, checking whether Arya was secretly following or not.
"Dian, do you think I'm your friend?"
Arkan's voice jolted Dian. With great anticipation, Dian looked at Arkan. She was both reluctant and uncomfortable.
"Ah, about that, sir..." Dian hung up her sentence. She struggled to find the right excuse all of a sudden.
As a result, Dian just moved her eyeballs back and forth. As long as she didn't stare into Arkan's eyes. She didn't know what to say and how.
Mampus! Fuck off! Dian b*go!"
"One more thing, did you meet with the company's investors?" Arkan asked more seriously. There was a deepening tinge of curiosity in his manner.
"Yes?" Dian raised both eyebrows, surprised. "Corporate investors?"
Stuffing both hands into his pants pockets, Arkan flicked his chin. Pointing in the direction where Dian and the unknown man were sitting.
"I seem to know him, but who, huh?"
While Arkan seemed to be thinking while scratching his temples briefly, Dian immediately interrupted. A sense of panic was suddenly ignited.
"Maybe it's just a resemblance, sir," Dian replied with a clumsy look on her face. I swear to God, Dian really didn't expect Arkan to come!
Arkan looked incredulous, still with a trace of thought left in him. His brow furrowed as he looked at Dian.
"Well..." Dian was still thinking of the right sentence to divert the topic. "Mr. Arkan, do you know that we all have seven twins in the world?"
Arkan looked at Dian with increasing confusion. His frown deepened, and the corners of his lips curled downward. If you could interpret the look on Arkan's face right now, it was as if Arkan was saying, "What do you mean, you silly woman!"
And Dian was actually offended. If she hadn't been the boss, Dian would have hit Arkan out of sheer annoyance.
"Why do you have to make such silly comparisons," Arkan muttered, but it could still be heard in Dian's ears.
Dian just gave a forced smile and a faint grimace.
"But, why did you pull me here? I haven't even said anything to you yet," Arkan said, his voice sounding curious. Even now his hands were folded in front of his chest.
Dian was now stunned that Arkan was looking at her with narrowed eyes. His manner was truly that of an arrogant man. Because the intimidating aura of Arkan's gaze was so thick, it was as if the vocabulary in her head was gone.
How can Dian explain the reason?!
"That... I apologize in advance, sir.I didn't want the man I was with to see Mr. Arkan," Dian replied. In that instant, Dian found the right reason to answer Arkan's question.
A moment later Dian approached Arkan. With a serious face facing sideways, Dian whispered.
"Because he likes men easily, sir, I've known him for a long time."
Arkan, who had been curious to hear Dian, was suddenly wide-eyed. Arkan's face drew back in surprise, looking at Dian in disbelief as well as curiosity.
"What?" hissed Arkan. "Is it true what you said?"
Dian nodded her head, her eyes squinting seriously. "Right, I know that she's like that, that's why I don't want to introduce other men," she replied emphasizing the sentence.
"Will she risk liking me?"
"Yes, it's very likely that she will." Dian snapped her fingers. Her index finger moved down Arkan's face from forehead to chin without touching, tracing the face. "The thing about the boss's face is..."
Arkan raised both eyebrows, curious to know what Dian was talking about.
"... handsome," Dian continued, immediately curling her index finger.
Dian's words provoked Arkan's confusion and surprise. Arkan immediately lowered his face, looking at Dian strangely.
Meanwhile, Dian casually curved a grinning smile. Without guilt and without awkwardness - although Dian secretly warned that she would be given a warning letter tomorrow at work.
"This is you. Are you saying that to persuade me not to be annoyed with you?"
"No," Dian shook her head, "already, sir. Is there anything you want to talk about?"
Dian really wanted to escape from Arkan's presence. If she lingered too long, she would be attacked by awkwardness.
Arkan took a deep breath, then exhaled through his mouth. "Actually, I just wanted to ask if you were my client. The thing is, you look very similar from a distance."
Not answering for a few seconds, Dian finally nodded.
"Alright, then, I'll go back to my seat. Oh, boss, don't sit so close..."
"Yes, yes, I know. You warned me I'd be favored by that guy?" Arkan looked very annoyed.
"That's right. Clever, Mr. Boss!" In contrast to Arkan, Dian's face looked ignorant.
Arkan widened his eyes at how casually Dian acted towards him. As if Dian was a secretary who always worked with him. It was always Dian who accompanied Arkan when there were meetings with other companies.
Before Arkan could open her mouth to speak, Dian had already bowed. Giving a small salute before finally waltzing away.
Leaving Arkan gaping in disbelief. Blinking for a few moments while looking at Dian's back. The further away she got, the more Arkan felt that Dian was really annoying.
"Who taught her to be so presumptuous?" Arkan raised one hand pointing in the direction Dian was leaving.
After three seconds, Arkan let out a rough breath. He shook his head and lowered his hand. Patting his thigh roughly.
"Hah, this is how it is to have a silly secretary," Arkan muttered, continuing to grumble before waltzing away.

"I'm sorry, Mas, I had some business for a while. My friend needed me to help him with his work," Dian explained Arya's confusion upon arriving at his seat.
Arya immediately chuckled casually while waving one hand. "No problem, Dina. I haven't been waiting long either. Take it easy."
Dian gave a thin, awkward smile. She almost escaped laughing at Arya because she knew Arya was pretending.
"What did we discuss earlier?" Dian straightened her suit top shirt, looking at Arya seriously.
"Eung ...." Arya thought for a while. "I was going to ask about... are you free on Sundays?"
Dian's eyebrows shot up. After finishing her drink, Dian said, "Sunday? Just a moment to let me think...."
During the pause in Dian's speech, Arya was provoked by curiosity. Whether she realized it or not, her body gesture became sitting leaning towards Dian. There seemed to be hope on Arya's face that Dian had an empty schedule.
"I don't think so, Mas. Why is that?" Dian asked.
Arya seemed to think for a while. Again and again, Arya thought about finding a good sentence to invite Dian. But the awkwardness she felt really made her throat choke.
"No, I just want to take you again to a place," Arya said finally. There was a sense of uncertainty in the way the man spoke.
"Hmmm ...." Dian nodded her head repeatedly. The next second she smiled meaningfully. "Okay. I can come along then, Mas. Just let me know the details-"
"No, she will come with me."
The second time a voice from the side stopped Dian's sentence. Simultaneously, Arya and Dian looked away. Just like a moment ago, Dian looked surprised to find Arkan standing up. I don't know when and...
Why now?! What does Arkan want to do?!
Dian was completely dumbfounded looking at Arkan. Arkan's eyes focused on Arya who was also as confused as Dian.
"Oh, don't ask me who. The important thing is that I told you that he will come with me on Sunday. There is an important event."
Do you think Dian can answer immediately? Of course not. What's on her mind right now is...
Why is her annoying boss bothering her at such an important time?!
