"Do you admit to being THE ONE" A voice reverberated throughout the room, piercing through everyone's ears as they sat, staring at the lady in the middle of the room. She looked dirty and tired. her once white hair was now covered in dried mud. Her eyes looked distant as she stared at the man on the throne like chair. He looked the same as always. His midnight black hair styled to perfection, his thin pale pink lips, his nose, and his gold eyes which was now empty.
A tear tickled down her cheek as she stared at him.
"Do you admit to being THE ONE? the voice asked again
Turning her head to look at the owner of the voice... it was Alex...the beta...he had betrayed her. She thought he was on her and Lucien's side, but she was wrong.
"Yes....I am THE ONE" she answered, her eyes devoid of any emotions as she stared at him.
"Stone her! they all yelled as they threw stuff at her.
"She must be put to death! One of the council member said
"By the power vested in me by the people of Astica, the second in command, I sentence you to death" He said, his voice reverberating throughout the room.

The next day went by with Lex and Riele meeting up and going to check out the benefits from the company. An apartment, designer clothes, and a heap of beauty products.
Riele was squealing when she saw them.
"You're a rich mama now" Riele said, her eyes darting around the apartment. It looked really great, really cozy.
"Damn, this place looks amazing" she added.
Lex just sat leisurely on one of the couches, staring at her friend calmly.
"You're so taking me out to eat later" Riele said, turning to look at lex who was casually scanning the vase on the table.
"You're paying though" Lex said, massaging the space between her brows
"Hell, no! You're the rich one here, so you're paying the bills" Riele replied, sinking onto the soft white couch.
"Ughhh...so soft" she groaned, spreading her arms and legs childishly
"Riele? have you ever thought what my life would be like if I had parents? Lex asked as she turned to look at her friend sitting opposite her, sadness in her eyes
" You know, I've always wondered what having parents would feel like" she added
Riele stared at lex for a little while, unable to say a word.
"Where ever they are, you're better without them. They left you on the streets, lex"
Sighing, Lex stood up, heading for the bedroom.
*El-cassanoviore*
The two ladies walked in, dressed in designer clothes, their hair styled beautifully, their heels thumping the floor as they walked towards an empty table. They took their seats, grabbing the menu and focussing their eyes on it.
A waiter rushed towards them with a smile on his face.
" what would you like to have, ma'am?
"two plates of seafood and some juice" Riele said smiling back at him. he wasn't bad looking at all. Just that he wasn't as good looking as Alex...or that mysterious man, lex thought.
"Gosh, such a handsome waiter. I might come and eat here everyday just to see him" Riele said, sighing longingly
"He's not so good looking" Lex said, playing with her nails, seemingly not bothered
"For someone who has a mystery prince charming, it's easy for you to say that" Riele said teasingly as she winked
"How exactly does the mystery man look like? Riele asked, stroking her chin in thought
" well, I doubt I'll ever see him again, so you probably won't ever see him either" Lex said, her heart clenching beneath her chest. Why did she feel this way each time she thought of him?
Bringing their food, they dug in, eating to their hearts content. The food was so delicious. After eating, they left. Riele went about her life, and lex decided to take a stroll.
Walking with her head up, she stared at the sky. The evening breeze blew through her long white hair which had been let loose.
She suddenly bumped into someone again
"Damn it! she cursed as she rubbed her head
She suddenly heard a familiar voice chuckle.
"Alex? she called out as she stared at him, her eyes wide with surprise
" flesh and blood, girly" he said, winking at her
"what are you doing here?
" Oh, I was just passing by" he said, shrugging off his shoulder
"You sure have a fetish for bumping into people" He added as he chuckled
Slapping his arm, she pouted. He was clearly making fun of her.
They had a little chat before having him drop her off at the new apartment.
Getting in, she sunk onto a nearby couch feeling extremely tired. Resting for a while, she stood up, heading for the bedroom where she freshened up and changed into her pajamas, ready for bed. Grabbing her phone, she scrolled through her gallery, viewing random pics to kill boredom until she came across a picture she took at the cafe.
Staring at it deeply, she sighed. It was the only thing she had of him. she had secretly took a pic while he sat staring outside the window that day. The view was nice. And the sun hitting his face, it was ethereal. The more she stared at the pic, the more her heart clenched.
Finally getting sleepy, she dropped the phone as her eyes fluttered closed.

She was running. Her feet hurt and she was panting really hard as she ran barefoot in the woods. Her chest hurt, and she felt like she couldn't breathe. What was happening?
"Thymamai" the eery voice said, cackling evily, enjoying the torment.
Falling to her feet, she clutched her chest tightly, it hurt so much. What was happening?
Staring at her shaky hands, they were bloody. She was terrified, she couldn't stop the pain in her chest. Screaming, her heart burned as her eyes glowed bright red.
"Thymamai, Kupia" The voice said again
"who are you? she asked as she choked, blood dripping from her mouth.
" Thymamai" the voice chanted over and over
"Poios eisai! She yelled her eyes crazed as she drove her hand into her chest, pulling out her beating heart which had turned black.
Screeching, she fell to the ground, her eyes turning black.

Panting, Lex sat on the bed as recollected what she had seen...That was her. Why?
Why did she see that?
it was a normal nightmare, right?
but why did it feel so real?
Lex asked herself these questions, racking her Brain for answers which she never got.
"Kupia? She muttered to herself, staring into space.
