REMEMBER
*Paula's Cafe*
"What would you like to order Sir, Ma'am" Lex asked, smiling at the couple sitting opposite each other on the table.
"Two cups of iced coffee and some cupcakes, please" the man said, his eyes focused on the woman opposite him, staring lovingly at her.
She must be his girlfriend, or probably his wife...Lex thought.
Smiling at the couple, she left to get their order.
Finally serving them, they left after they done, and she was back at the counter where she sat, waiting for more customers. She was tired. Her eyes were groggy, and there were visible dark circles under them.
Her skin was paler than it was in the morning, and her lips were dry. Her white hair was messy, and some strands stuck to her face. She rested her chin on her hand as her eyes slowly fluttered close.
A ding from the door woke her up, cutting off her siesta. A man had walked in. He was dressed in a black long sleeve T-shirt and black pants. his jet black hair had been groomed to perfection, and it seemed like it was glowing under the sunlight that shone through the windows. He looked majestic as he walked to a table. Reaching the table, he pulled out a chair where he sat gracefully, staring outside the glass window.
Rubbing her bleary eyes, she walked reluctantly towards him, her shoes thumping the wooden floor.
"What would you like to order, sir? She asked, standing in front of him, her lips curling up into a fake smile. He had woke her up from the beautiful dream she was having after all, how could she forgive him?
She was almost about to get the lead role for that commercial, but this dude right here had mercilessly come in here and woke her up...hmph!
Seemingly not paying any attention, he was staring distantly outside, his eyes devoid of any emotion.
"Sir? Lex called out, trying to get his attention.
Turning around, he stared deeply at her, his eyes holding unfathomable emotions.
She caught her breath, he was so beautiful. His jaw was defined and his nose was long. His eyebrows were thick, and his lips were a thin pale pink. His thick eyelashes fluttered as his gold colored eyes stared at her...such beautiful eyes, she thought. They looked like flames.
"A cup of Cappuccino" His deep masculine voice pierced through her ears, leaving her dumbstruck. His voice was so breathtaking. So calm, yet so masculine. Looking closely at his face, she noticed the tiny little birthmark on his upper lip, she thought it was really unique. Smiling at him, she turned around and left.
Soon, it was sunset...The sun was beginning to hide behind the clouds, casting orange and purple rays onto the horizon. He sat there staring outside, the orange sun rays kissing his beautiful face. He looked distant, beautiful, like a piece from a painting...so ethereal
She stared at him, her heart clenching beneath her chest...why did he look sad?
Finally getting up, he walked towards her.
Reaching her, he stared at her deeply before placing the money on the counter and leaving. She stared at his back as he left.
The door closed with a ding, and she heaved a sigh. She hadn't noticed she had been holding her breath until he was gone.
Taking the money, she walked to the table where he sat, intending to clear it up.
Getting to the table, she reached out for the cup, but her hand paused. She whipped her head towards the door, but he was gone, he had left without even having the coffee.
She stared at the cup of coffee which had turned cold, her heart clenching. Something flickered in her eyes, but it had gone away as quickly as it came.
The Keys clanked as she locked the door, she was done with work for the day. She walked lazily along the pavement, her feet hitting the ground.
She looked messy, and she reeked of sweat. Getting home, she freshened up and sunk onto her bed where she fell asleep.
*Somewhere in C city*
Lucien stood there in front of the white board, smearing colors onto it, his eyes looking dead. His chiseled torso being kissed by the sun that shone through the glass window. His jet black hair was wet with sweat as his brush made strokes on the board, forming a beautiful imperfection.
A knock on the door pierced through his ears as he made stroke after stroke on the board, seemingly not bothered.
"Come in" he said, not bothering to glance at the door.
A lady walked in just as the door creaked open. She was dressed in a simple red off shoulder dress that accentuated her curves and showed a little cleavage. Her dark brown hair was tied into a bun, revealing her long neck. She walked towards him, her hips swaying seductively from side to side.
Reaching him, she pouted as her amber eyes rested on his face...he was ignoring her.
Moving to behind him, she hugged his naked torso.
"I can make your pain go away" She whispered against his ear, before licking on it.
"Get out" He said, his voice laced with glaciers.
"I'm a bad girl, and I want you to punish me" She said, her hands inching up to his chest.
"Get out, Emelda" he said again, his tone holding a warning.
Letting go of him, her lips curled up into a smirk before licking her lips and walking out, her footsteps fading away as the door closed behind her.
Staring at his painting, he fisted his hair, gripping it so tightly as a tear rolled down his cheek involuntary.
All his life he had wanted this day to come, he had always wanted to meet her. But now that she was here, his heart hurt because he knows there's going to be a day when he'd vanish, leaving her all alone.
*Blue sky kindergarten*
"Mommy! A little blonde boy with chubby cheeks yelled excitedly, running towards a slender woman in red dress. He looked to be four years old. His skin was white, and he had dark brown hair. Reaching her, she picked him up, her face beaming.
"How've you been, baby? She asked, smiling at the little boy
He beamed at her, about to say something, but he halted. His eyes darted around, seemingly looking for something... or someone.
"Mommy? Where's daddy? he asked, pouting, his big amber eyes settling on his mother's face.
Something flickered in her eyes, but it vanished quickly, like it wasn't there at all.
Smiling at him, she said...
" Oh, your daddy's not feeling okay today, so I had to come alone"
"Will he be okay soon? He asked, staring expectantly at his mother.
"Yes, baby...he'll get better soon"
"I'll have to make everything better, whether he likes it or not" she muttered to herself, her eyes holding a malicious intent
"What's that, mommy? The boy asked innocently as he stared at her
" Nothing, baby...let's go get ice cream" she said, smiling at her son

"Thymamai" she heard a calm voice say.
Panting hard, she clutched her chest as she fell to her knees unable to breathe, it hurt so much. The pain was unbearable. Her face was wet with sweat, and her hands were stained with blood, Who's blood was it?
Looking down at her chest, a knife had been driven into it.
"Thymamai" the voice said again
Coughing out blood, she struggled to stand to her feet.
"Remember... what? She choked out.
"Thymamai"
"Thymamai"
"Thymamai" the voice chanted eerily as it cackled
"Remember what?! she yelled to no one at all as she fell to the ground, her eyelashes fluttering closed.
