Proposal

Dev reaches the venue and sees the whole hall is decorated and there is a lot of hustle-bustle in the place. The place was decorated well with lightning and flowers. The hall was not big but beautiful. He looks around and sees thousands of people there, who were busy chatting with each other while enjoying eating snacks. The music was being played at one corner of the party centre, some children were dancing to the tune of the music. He hates crowded places, if not necessary he always ignores crowded places. If not for the project and money he never visits this low and crowded place but he doesn't have any other option.

Sighing he enters the venue and looks for the owner of the plot, he wants to buy and spots him talking to somebody. He moves toward him and asks him, he wants to talk to him privately. The bride's father knowing he is the billionaire Dev Malhotra excuses him telling him today is his daughter's marriage but Dev didn't listen to him and keep pressurizing him and finally, the owner gives up and agrees to talk to him privately. He takes Dev to a nearby room.

Shyam Shah: "Bride's father. He loves her daughter so much. He always wanted the best for her. He never stops her from doing something she likes. he gives her the freedom she deserves without ignoring his relative's taunts.

Dev looks at the bride father and said:" I didn't beat around the bush I want that plot. I am ready to give you six times the market price or you want more I can ready to pay that too. Just tell your demand and I can make a cheque now".He said pulling a chequebook and pen from his pocket. He is waiting for his reply when he said:"

Mr Dev Malhotra I told you and your employees many times. This property was my father's last memory. I want to build a school there. I am not interested to sell that plot. Now please leave as today is my daughter married and there are so many guests there and I have lot of work to do".

Dev gets angry with his reply and said in a warning tone:" You are doing wrong, Mr. Shyam, you don't know me I get what I want and I will get that by hook or crook".Shyam Shah is going to reply when Shyam's wife enters running toward open the door and stepped inside the room, she is looking tense and informs him groom ran away. Dev look at Shyam, he is rooted at his place listening to his wife, he is looking devasted. He run toward the door when his wife shook him.

After some time Dev also goes outside and hearing people talk, he gets to know the groom Rishi who happened to be their neighbour ran away with some girl. He smirks look like god is with him. He moves toward Shyam and asked for his 5 minutes. Shyam tries to deny him but Dev told him it's for his benefit finally, he agrees

They are in the room when Shyam asked him what's the matter if it's about the plot he is not interested and kindly asked him to leave as he has so many things to do.Dev cut him in middle and said: "I have a proposal for you. See after 15 minutes your daughter marriage is scheduled and if that time she will not get married it is not good for you and her respect and I am sure you will not arrange any substitute groom in 15 minutes".

Shyam gets confused and asked him "Mr Dev please don't beat around the bush and speak clearly".Dev sharply said, " I will marry your daughter in return you give me your plot".

Shyam gets shocked and said: "What ! are you mad. What do you think my daughter is some deal. I never let my daughter married to a person like you who is selfish and money-minded".

Dev smirks and said:" okay Mr Shyam it's up to you. But don't forget your daughter would be husband ran away from a marriage leaving her alone, who would marry her and even if some nice guys agree I will make sure you never find that nice guy. so think wisely. Who you love more your daughter or your father memory, just think".

finally, after some time, Shyam agrees as he knows somewhere Dev is right. A girl whose groom ran away faces many difficulties in society. He doesn't want her daughter to face them, hear people taunts or point finger on her for groom disappearance

He looks at Dev, he knows he is not an easy person if for the plot he is ready to get married to an unknown girl without looking then he can go to any extent to get it and he won't want to drag her daughter life into the mess just for his principles. So, having no choice he finally agrees.
