First day after marriage

Sia opened her eyes and see the surrounding, then she sees Dev who is sleeping with a pout. She smiles at him, she folds her and pray to god and get up from the bed, and went to the washroom taking her clothes. She comes out of the washroom and goes in front of the mirror. She brushes her hair and applies vermillion. She is going to wake up Dev when she heard some buzzing sound, she gets confused but her confusion gets cleared when Dev opens his eyes and switch off his mobile alarm. She smiles at him, but Dev gets starlet seeing someone in his room then he realized yesterday he got married and his wife is standing in front of her. He then returns her smile and gets inside the washroom. He stepped inside his room from the washroom when he sees Sia is arranging the bed but he decided to ignored to get dress up.

He is combing his hair when Sia said to him to get ready fast as his mom told her that they are going to perform morning pooja. He gets irritated with arranging pooja for them but not wanted to argue with them, he is noded.

Then they go downstairs, Sia touches the elders' feet and they happily give her blessings. Then she performs aarti and then said his mom, she wanted to make breakfast. His mother gets happy, she shows her kitchen and she made breakfast for everyone.

They are sitting at the dining table, everyone didn’t know the breakfast is made by Sia. So, they just start eating. Everyone took the first morsel and they like the food because it’s different from the food made by servents. Sometimes Neha cooked but Dev didn’t want her to work in the kitchen so, he prohibited her from cooking in the kitchen. It’s Dev's father who speaks first and praises the food and then Neha informed food is made by Sia. Dev looked at her, who is smiling then he looked at Maya who is feeling jealous because of Sia's praise. He decides to tease her more:” Yes, Sia you made brilliant food . I think even an International chef cannot make food like this “.Even Aditya praise her food and jokingly said:” Maya, you made overcooked pasta on your first rasoi”.Everyone laughed except Maya, who glared at Aditya who gets busy eating homemade food.

Dev is going out when his mother said he can’t go out it’s the first day of marriage and there are many rituals to performed. Listening to this he gets angry, his work is everything for him. He told her mom, he has a very important meeting and he can’t postpone it as he didn’t know he was going to married yesterday. He left to his work without hearing her reply. Listening to him Sia gets sad, her mother-in-law look at her .She smile at her and said he is just like this workaholic but he really cared about his family and now she is his family. She added, just keep the faith he will be changed after sometimes. Sia smiles faintly and nod.

Sia enters the room and sits on the bed. She is sad, her husband left her on the first day of the marriage. She knows work is important but she cannot stop herself from feeling sad about this. She didn’t know anything about him except his name and he saves her family's reputation. She wanted to know about him, how he is, his likes-dislikes everything, after all, they are going to spend their whole life together. According to her mother-in-law, he is a workaholic, his first priority is work and then his family or anything else. She sighs and starts getting ready for muh dikhai (a ritual where the groom's family introduces the new bride to friends and family).

She looks at the jewelry and dress, her mother-in-law gives her.They are very expensive. She never in dream think she will marry a billionaire but here she is married to the city most eligible bachelor. She is a simple girl who wanted a simple and loving husband. She just wished Dev will be the husband she always wanted. She prayed and start wearing jewelry. She meets her mother-in-law's friends. Everyone praises her and gives her gifts.

On another side, Dev stepped inside his office building. His staff greeting him. He entered his cabin when his friend and partner Arnav is sitting on the chair. Arnav smile at him, he comes and sits in his place.

Arnav started:” Congratulation bro, you got the plot but how , this plot owner is so adamant not to sell the plot, how you managed to make him sell the plot. I was thinking now we have to lose this deal because of this but great you managed to buy this property”.Dev smile and said:” Nothing is impossible for Dev Malhotra “ and told him everything, how he blackmailed her father for the property.
