Chapter 5 Night At Hostel

Elvin's prov.....

It was really dark so I thought Danica will stay with me at boy's hostel. Even through I know there is a risk, But still I decided to take her in. So instead of sleeping on the street and weird people looking at her. it's better she stay at hostel.

I know it was inappropriate, but I cannot let her roam on road like a homeless person. Moreover I was also scared about my hostel checking because from no where the hostel care taker will suddenly appear like a magician and start checking.

it's being almost three month after last room checking. since then there is no hostel checking. so getting a room check is high nowadays.

Somehow I let Danica go into the room through window. I walked towards entrance and as usual the door was open. because very often they will not lock the entrance. And girl's hostel door closes earlier than boy's hostel.

After entering I noticed that no one was there at reception. this created more suspicious feeling in me.

I gazed around the table and saw a register kept on the cabin. I moved slowly towards it so that my foot step could be heard by dean of hostel. I opened the register saw my name and signed.

I feel like to rush towards my room like a flash of light. But my footsteps will create an earthquake so I removed my shoes, wearing my socks and rushed towards my room. The floor was frigid cold and It left like my foot blood will swell up soon and I will collapse making a thud sound.

I open the door and sensed something suspicious. the environment was totally different. Everyone was standing like a statue looking at me even Danica. But her cap was still covering her face. Moreover I understood that my roommates also sensed something is wrong, by looking at their facial expression.

'Will you come and explain this situation to us' said John.

John was my roommate since the first year of my college. He a little different than all of us. His top secret is that. Most of the time he would bunk the classes and the shocking thing is that we never see him studying. but still his score is less than me and more than my other roommates.

Danica's Prov......

I know the step I took was inappropriate but hearing what Elvin said I got frightened . so instead of sleeping on bench like beggar or roaming like a sloth until morning. I thought why not do as Elvin said. But I should not let my guard down. this is the first thing I thought.

The window was a little small but somehow I entered the room. My first expression after seeing the room was. 'Is this really boys room. How can it be as clean as crystal' as i thought and trying to look down so that his roommates won't be able to see my face.

I know it's was a useless thought. But what I heard about boys room is that it is never clean and always stink. But I guess I was wrong.

And seconds expression was. why does his roomates look at me like a lion looking at lioness or as if they saw a girl first time in their life.

'Who are you' said one of them squinting his eyes looking at me suspiciously. I guess they don't know whether i'm a girl or a boy.

I ignored what he asked. But one of them moved his hand towards my cap and was about to remove it.

I could barely saw what he was going to do. so I retreat my way.

'Ok let's wait for Elvin to explain' said one of them. As he moved his hand back.

The door opens. everone looking ar the door including me.

Elvin comes in with a question on his face, holding his shoes. moving his toes up and down due to cold floor. I felt like to laugh after seeing. But I hold it back.

'Elvin will you come in and explain us' said John.

'Yea yea wait' Said Elvin as he dropped his shoes aside and wore his slippers.

He open the cupboard and took out an extra pair of Slippers, moving towards Danica and kept the slippers down for her to wear.

'Here wear this slippers Danica' said Elvin.

'Danica?' shouted three of his roommates with a shock. looking at Elvin feeling like to kill him or strangle him to death.

Danica looked down removing her shoes, wearing the slippers.

'Elvin are you nuts. you bought a girl to boy's hostel.' said Adrian. Adrain is Elvin's childhood friend. And also family friend. they both are like best buddies. who will never stop to support each others.

'Yea Elvin. Adrian is right. What if there will be room checking. who knows about dean's mood' Said David. David is a recent student. he was a transferred student and joined the hostel two years ago. And now he is also the member of their group. Including now he is Elvin's Best buddy.

'David. it will be a peace if you will not say those words. because if you do. then it will definitely come true and this is a fact. which occured many time and trapped us' Mocked John.

David felt like to snatch his mouth and tear it apart. But he kept himself silent. because he knew John will fall into his trap after few minutes or hours.

'But still. David said it correct. what if there will be a room checking. then?' said Adrian.

'Guys, guys calm down can't you see our brother now has a girlfriend for the first time' Mocked John as he wrapped his arm around Elvin's shoulder.

Elvin shook his arm off his shoulder.

'No...I...it's not what you think' Said Danica as she was shying and couldn't talk properly. she never expect to hear things like this.

Elvin looked at Danica and understood what she meant.

'See guys. She is just my friend and also my classmate. As the girls hostel is closed. And there is no where she could go. so I decided to bring her here' Explained Elvin.

'Oooo.... I understand. what's going on in your nerdy brain. tell me huh?' Mocked John poking his arm.

'Remove the trash out of your thought. it's not what you think' said Elvin with serious look.

'whatever. But for us she is just like a sister who is our brother's girlfriend' said John.

Adrian and David were speechless.

Elvin walking towards Danica. removing her cap, He took the Jacket from Danica's arm and hung it behind the door along with cap. Danica's long dark brown coloured hair matching with coffee beans comes out of the cap, falls over her shoulder and covering it.

'she is beautiful. right' whispered John to David and Adrian.

There was no answer. so when John looked at David and Adrian looking at Danica and not even blinking their eyes. it was like they were not human. they were statue.

'Sure enough our sister is beautiful' smiled John.

'yyyeeessss' said David and Adrian as their voice sync.

'Hi sister how are youuu?' said John jumping like a frog.

'Hey John stop it. that's your new trick.right' said David.

'what? I was just greeting our sister' Explained John. Elvin smiled looking at them as he was arranging his things. Danica looked at them with weird expression. she felt as if she was covered with goons around her.

David ignored John walking past by his side. John almost got furious and was jealous like a blazing fire.

'Sister don't Mind him. he is flirtatious since his birth. I even doubt whether he flirted with nurse when he was born' Mocked David.

'David' shouted John. his eyes rageful like a burning fire. ' I wouldn't leave you until I strangle you to death' Shouted John running behind David.

'That nurse was beautiful' said John trying to catch David.

'ooooo.....so you really flirted with her. huuuhhh' Mocked David. John anger meter was full now.

'No....My mom told me' shouted John. John is also a little dumb and straightforward person too.

'oops my bad then' Said David running and teasing John

Danica smiled at them. it's was like a cat chasing mouse. Adrian walking towards Danica and greets 'Hi. my name is Adrian. Elvin's childhood friend' introuduced Adrian. He was as handsome as Elvin . But not exactly like him.

'Hi. I am Danica' introduced Danica.

'David Listen I am still your senior. just wait and see. I will expose you someday' shouted John pointing at David.

'You will expose me if you will have my deepest secret' Mocked David again. This time John was not going to show no mercy on him.

'I will find it someday. you fox' said John

Elvin, Danica and Adrian laughed. Elvin looked at Danica laughing. He felt another change in his life. And felt as if his life was changed forever.

Adrian looked at Elvin. And caught Elvin seeing Danica. And thought for a while.

*'He sure is happy now and this is first time I saw him. I wish this colud be forever. Danica I think I will trust you and wouldn't test you anymore. Now I know you are the best choice for Elvin'* smiled Adrian. Adrian was a little careful for Elvin. He knows everthing about Elvin, Even about his past. So he is a little cautious for him. Because he cannot see him getting hurt once again.

*knock* *knock*.

The knock on the door gave sudden halt to everyone. David and John stopped. Elvin smile turn upside down and he looked at the door. Now there is a serious expression on his face including Danica and Adrian.
