Chapter 9

Other's pov :

After a heartfelt talk, sagar felt quite relieved. He started to see anvitha in different way apart from impressing her. He had noticed how selfless and soft spoken she is. He had seen how contagious her smile is, how understanding and supporting she is. He was mesmerised by everything in her but he realised it now. He had faint smile playing on his lips while thinking about her. Kishore noticed his friend smiling to himself and relieved. Soon the time to meet the most 'powerful-protective' person has come so both left to restaurant.

Sagar and kishore reached the restaurant before kumar and karan could reach. Sagar was quite nervous about their meet. A voice interrupted him.

"Sorry, did we make you guys wait for too long?"Kumar asked hurriedly moving towards them.

"No sir, we just arrived. Please be seated."sagar stood up from his chair to greet kumar and karan.

"I'm kumar i am working in mnc company and he is my karan is doing MD and practising doctor. I hope you know why we are here" Kumar introduced himself.

"Yeah sir, as you know I'm sagar. I am the CEO of 'SS TEXTILES' and he is my friend cum partner 'KISH COLLECTION' owner Kishore." Sagar was cut in the middle by sharp tone.

"Why do you want to marry my sister? You are rich, handsome successful. Why my anvi?"karan asked possessively. His heart couldn't settle when he learnt about sagar.

Sagar was tongue tied. He couldn't answer to his question.

"Karan, let me talk." warned him politely.

"Sagar, we don't know the reason behind your interest in my daughter. We are not rich that doesn't mean we will marry her off to anyone to their demand. We love her than anything in the world and which she deserve. If by chance you take this marriage as a pass time i prefer you to stop it here only because i am not letting anyone to play with my daughter life. She is very precious to us." kumar said to sagar.

Sagar however could not conclude what his feelings for anvitha but he wants to marry her and he is going to do it.

"Sir, Why did you marry your wife? I mean why she?" sagar countered kumar.

"Because i felt for her. The urge to marry her."kumar was confused by his question but nevertheless answered.

"Same uncle, I feel she is the ONE FOR ME. I WANT TO MARRY HER....ONLY HER." sagar stated with so much confidence for once kumar thought he is giving her daughter to good hands as suresh and swati were kind and golden hearted people.

"OK, engagement in two days. So when are you coming to mysore,my son"kumar answered his acceptance by accepting him as son.

Sagar was relieved hearing him calling son. He understood that he accepted him as SIL.

"Please, Always keep her smiling. That's all I ask for."Kumar had tears in his eyes while telling him. He was too emotional that he couldn't stop himself from controlling it. He want nothing but her happiness, he wouldn't ask much.

"Always uncle even if i am not alive, i will make sure of it"Sagar promised wholeheartedly in spur of moment.

"I have approved but i still have to ask anvi. Let me call her."kumar fished out his mobile from pocket to call anvitha. She picked up in 3rd ring.

"Papa, Where are you? Where is karan?It's already 9 in the night i am worried." worried anvitha asked kumar unknown to the surrounding. Sagar could hear worry in her voice.

will she be worried even if i come late?

Sagar for once wanted her to worry for him like she is worried now. Think of him crazy he doesn't care.

"Anvi, i am and karan are in bangalore. We will be late. Don't worry i am not alone karan is with and someone very important is also with me."kumar said eyeing sagar. Sagar ears peeked to hear her reply.

"Papa, did you both had dinner? took you tablet? Why you didn't inform me? Amma also didn't tell me about your whereabouts. By the way appa amma ia acting all weird. Is she pregnant, i mean ... i heard that the pregnant lady act weird and all."anvitha was concerned about his health and asked last part in whisper. kumar laughed at her innocence as she doesn't know what is happening around her. It's about her marraige she has no idea avobt it. Kumar had a rough picture of her wife going all crazy for wedding preparation as there is no time ordering their sisters to help her.

Sagar who was curious of their conversation heard their talk and he was quite amused by her and her concern did something to his heart. He had to press his lip and turn other way to hide his laughter. Karan know how typical her sister is rolled his eyes and shared a awkward smile with kishore who was shocked at her.

"I will have food and have tablet. By the way you maa and me have something to tell to and we want your answer. We have a proposal for you and we like the guy and his family. We want your answer; anvi. The decision is yours. If you don't want to get married you can tell me. I have sent you the photo. Have a look and tell me your answer."kumar said to anvitha. Here sagar heart was thumping against his rib cage. He was scared of her rejection.

"Papa, your wish. I don't have to see the photo. Do as you please"anvitha told in above whisper tone.

Kumar was delighted. He knew she would never go against him. Sagar was annoyed for not checking his photo. He fisted his hand to control his anger at her.

So the marraige has been fixed in 10 days.
