She looks familiar

Jayden POV

Stepping out of the bathroom, with a towel, hanging dangerously around my waist, my body dripping wet, I walked over to the dresser and leaned in on the chair. I stared at my good-looking reflection. What more can I possibly ask for? I mean, look at me, I have the most handsome face ever, the most perfect body shape, perfect voice, everything about me was so perfect, and I have many ladies on my lists, both young and old, tripping for me, but heck! I don't give a damn about them, I'm not a flirt, so I don't give them attention.

After I was done drooling at my own image, I chuckled softly, before walking over to my cabinet and picking out my office clothes, which were a set of black suits, and a pair of black shoes.

An hour later, I was finally done dressing up, and by the time I glanced at the wall clock, I was wowed by the time. I'm already three hours late, not that I care though.

Taking one last glance at my reflection, I finally stormed out of the room, after picking up my briefcase.

My name was Jayden Turner, a twenty-three years old young handsome business tycoon. Business is what I have a passion for, so I have many companies in my name, but not in Oklahoma. My dad resided here, and he lately willed his company here to me, since he was aging, so I had to come down here, to take over the company.

Stepping out of my room, I walked through the spacious hallway, and the next minute, I was already in the living room, where I met my old Dad, sipping from the mug of hot coffee while watching the early morning news. The connection between Dad and the news was inseparable, he loved anything that has to do with news.

"Good morning, Dad." I smiled heartily at him.

"Good morning son, did you sleep well?" He returned the smile, as he glanced at me, and took his attention back to the TV almost immediately.

"Yes Dad, I'm off to the company," I said while adjusting my tie with my left hand.

"I thought you weren't going to resume today, it's almost 10 am." He said, giving me an unbelievable look.

"I had a hectic day yesterday, trying to set up some things, so I slept off quite late, and today, I woke up late, I'm off already Dad, see you later,"

"Ok, Son, but you haven't had breakfast." He said.

"About that, I'll have breakfast when I get to the office, I have to be on my way now." I smiled at him.

"Alright son, take care of yourself, and enjoy your new company." He gave me an assuring smile, and with that, I smiled and stormed out of the house, and soon, I was at the parking lot.

Driving for what seemed like forever with the dilemma with that stupid lady, I finally got to the big gate of the company. I drove in.

Waking through the entrance door, a middle-aged man, about forty-five or fifty years of age came rushing towards me, and once he got to me, he took my briefcase.

"Good morning, sir." The young man greeted me, but I just hummed a yeah, while walking briskly to the elevator, and once I got in, he got in too before it took off, and in the next minutes, the door rolled open, and he led me to my supposed office.

Stepping into the spacious office, I couldn't hold back the 'wow' that escaped my lips. The interior design was really beautiful and eye-catching, whoever designed it, must really be a pro at this.

Walking over to the seat behind the desk, I kept admiring the portrait of my Dad, hanging almost everywhere in the office, and I must say that it really added to the beauty of the office.

"Sir, the staff are all waiting for you to come to address them." The young man said politely, pulling me back to reality.

"Oh! Alright, I'll be there." I replied, not taking a glance at him, as my gaze was fixated on the portrait of my dad, having a pic of when he was still a young man, I couldn't help the smile that crept its way to my face, I really missed the young man, I missed him, being young.

"Ok sir, I'll be on my way now, please do call me if you need anything, I'm just outside your office." He said, before turning to go.

"Uhm, what's your name?" I asked, as I finally turned to face him for the first time since we walked in.

"Liam Harper sir, I used to be your Dad's Secretary, but now your secretary." He said.

"Oh, I see." I nodded unbelievably. What the heck! Is this not crazy? The fact that he used to be my Dad's secretary, doesn't mean he must be my secretary, right? I mean, how can I let an elderly man like him work as my secretary? That's not possible.

He bowed slightly, before finally working out of my office.

Letting out a soft sigh, I finally turned and walked out of my office, and as soon as I got to my so-called old secretary's office, I met him sitting behind his desk, doing what I don't know on his computer. He better enjoys the rest of his days here, because he will be leaving soon, and when I say soon, I mean, his days here are numbered. I don't care if Dad agrees to it, but he must leave.

"Oh you're here Sir, this way please." He said, as he stood up and gestured for me to come with him while heading to the door.

Walking my way to where the staff was all gathered, waiting patiently for me, I was forced to stop on my track, as my eyes met with someone, she looked familiar...
