CHAPTER:7

It has been two days since they both visited hospital. Money is the last thought before going to sleep and first thought after waking up.

Nevertheless of their worries, this situation bought them closer than knot tied in the name of marriage.

The bond they shared may not be of same as other couples but the improvement in daily routine is enough to feel everything is right. Now a days they both are having little conversations on Calls and messages while away, and they are having together dinner but not silently, with full of talks and enquires about each other day.

Its so cute to be together when needed each other. It may be need but actions shows little affection which says otherwise....

AARDHAYA POV:(POV point of view)

"Nikhil, take this " I handed his lunch box.

While keeping his medicine in his pocket and telling him not to forget.

He just smiled which is like calamity washed away my worries.

Our little staring contest broke when Riha called him.

"Pa drop me at Sandhya home" Riha said while coming out of room.

"Didn't you go to school!?" Nikhil questioned her.

She shook her head negatively "Today is Sandhya sister marriage, she invited me there."

"Marriage, then why are you in casual clothes!?" Nikhil again questioned her

"Marriage is at night, I have to help her in getting her sister ready..that's why!"

She pouted, who can resist that cute puppy face.

Nikhil smiled and nodded.

"Pa, I want to wear a saree for wedding can I buy one!?" She asked him

This girl.... definitely crazy I thought

"You can wear, Aaru saree na" he tries to convince her

"But pa I want that Parampara Pattu saree, I searched it online it so nice. We friends decided to where only Pattu sarees" she said no no she shouted

That's it.. can't she see how much he is giving her." Stop it Riha, how can we buy saree within hours. You should have told me earlier or your brother. Now we can't do anything wear whatever there with me or don't go" I said more like raised my voice.

It's my first time talking back with someone, but she is crossing her limits. Nikhil is providing everything beyond his limit but this girl needs to know our status before asking something.

"And who are you to tell me not to buy" Riha shouted at me.

This made my blood boil, who am I !?? I thought to knock some senses into her but nikhil voice stopped me.

"Riha, what Aaru told is correct. We can't buy within hours and moreover I'm not that earner to buy silk sarees just for marriage."

She went out crying...what an act to get whatever she wanted.

I looked towards nikhil, he had some expression on his face which I can't figure it out.

He nodded his head indicating that he is leaving.

After he left, I got ready and went to my parents house. Devraj my father, 54 year old man who owns a small consultation company and restaurant passed down by grand father. My mother Jahnavi 50 year young looking old lady, no not a house wife but she runs her own boutique.

You must be in confusion right...if they are well educated why not me. Let me tell you, I'm not their kid. My biological mother is Yamini sister of Devraj. Yes he is my uncle who adopted me when my mom died in accident when I was 8.

I don't know who is my dad.... because my mom loved a guy at young age,when she was pregnant with me, he dumped her for another women that his father bought for marriage. She is 21 when she gave birth to me instead of aborting which pissed off my grand father and uncle.

My mom told me her story but not my dad's name, she even told me that I had his smile and mentality to adjust for every situation.

When my uncle aka dad adopted me he makes sure I don't go to any school or college. Basically when I asked him why, his answer is " I don't want you to become a s**t like your mom". He make sure that I don't have any friends and reason is same.

That's how my life became miserable, from that day they bought me like a slave. Just I have to act within their orders. If not I was starved the whole day.

But when I started working as maid I saw how many women and girls are defending themselves against society to follow their dreams which are against some myths. I wondered can I be like that someday?!!

I remembered every moment with my mom and after her death, but they came to halt when auto driver told me "arrived"

Waiting outside the door after knocking for good amount of time...when I was about to go back, my mother( Jahnavi) opened door.

"Why are you here!?" Her first question...

Wow...nice welcome I thought and told her " to meet dad"

She nodded and guided me to his room..

"Aaradhya is here for you!" She told and went somewhere in the house

"Speak up..why are you here, I already told you not to come to us after marriage, didn't I !?" He roared at me

I nodded..." Then why are you here!?"

"I need some money" I told him while closing my eyes tightly

His laughter made me open my eyes abruptly..

Why is he laughing...

"And why should I give you!?" He challenged me

"I do have a part on my mom properties" I told him carefully not to Sutter

"Part on properties...you have learnt so much things in 3 months" he said while smriking.

"What you will do...if I don't give you a single penny!?" He said

I came prepared,how can I come without anything else for you.

"Are you sure..." I said trying to act confident while inside I'm literally shivering to face him.

He nodded while doing his work...

I messaged Malathi one of my employer.

Within minutes his mobile popped up with a mail I think...

After reading mail, he glared at me and said " you think I can't handle it, it's just matter of money. I will bribe her with money then what will you do!?" He said

I acted like crying while recording it in mobile " but it's legally my property"

He smiled evily and said "yes...but I don't want to give you, that's why I adopted you just to be guardian until age and you transferred all your property for me after your 18 brithday" he said

Then I remembered, he told me to sign on some papers which requires for legal adoption.

"But you said legal adoption" I tried to act confused but I needed him to confess himself

"You are too naive to recognize that"

Then I stopped recording and sent it to Malathi immediately.

And I played it loud enough...his facial expressions changed from happiness to shock them he slapped me hard on cheek.

"You..." Before he could finish. His mobile rang.

I rubbed my cheek, I know this will happen but I need face this for my family.

"What!??" He shouted

She contacted his lawyer then, good for him to know now.

"Ok...I will transfer you, all your properties but it will take time so by end of month it will be yours" he said while gritting his teeth

What end of month... but I need it next week..

What to do....

Yes.." ok but I need proof otherwise, you will fool me"

He fisted his palms and said "what I have to do then"

"Hand over your restaurant until you transfer mine!" I know I'm asking too much cause from restaurant he gets most of his earnings..

He nodded and then handed over restaurant by making some calls and giving instructions to someone.

"All you have to do is go and meet Advith, he is in charge there. He will tell you what to do until end of month. If not you can sue me with these documents we signed" he said and handed me documents we signed

Then we recorded it for future purpose.

That's how I faced my past to lead the Future with fear engulfing me.

You can't change what happened but you can definitely help to make what's going to happen
