chapter seven

MARIA VICENTE HOSPITAL

Maria was in her office making a call.

"That information won't help, just find the guy so I can send him to prison for fraud" Maria said over the phone.

"I don't care if it would cost much or whatever you're saying, just fuçking find the guy" she yelled again cutting the call, She sighed heavily.

Her office doors Open and she saw a stick first and she knew who it was, she sighed.

Adrian came into view, he had a smile on his face as he made his way to the sit opposite Maria.

"Good morning doctor" he smiled but she didn't smile back.

"Not a good morning Mr. Mateo" Maria replied.

"Ohh the doctor is grumpy today, not a good day" he chuckled.

"Why are you here Adrian?" Maria asked.

"Did you go to Mexico recently?" He asked leaning forward.

"Yes I did and why did you ask?" Maria replied.

"You haven't been attending our sessions recently so I was only here to ask why" Adrien smiled.

"You said I was getting better so I don't need to come Everytime" Maria said.

"Maybe you need to start coming regularly, I strongly advice that" Adrian said and got up.

"I will try and take your advice Mr Mateo" Maria said and Adrian left the office.

Maria sighed. She doesn't really like going for therapy sessions. Adrian is Maria's psychiatrist.

She has a tendency of wanting to see blood every single time, that's one of the reasons she became a surgeon. she can't be blamed for that, it was a childhood trauma she can never forget.

Just thinking about it made Maria brought out a knife from her desk drawer and cut herself slightly on the finger.

She breathed out as she watched herself bleed.

"Maybe I really do need to continue my sessions" she muttered as the cut poured out more blood.

WAREHOUSE, MEXICO 8PM

Guards were seen everywhere holding guns and inside the warehouse was a man siting on a chair with a girl standing in front of him. Two men stood behind him.

"You should have just killed her and left the place, was it necessary to chat with her?" A man said to the girl in front of him whose head was bowed slightly.

"I wanted to get information out of her" Yolanda said.

"That's not your job Yolanda, I send you to kill some and you do it, no getting information off the marker" the man yelled and Yolanda flinched.

"I'm sorry" she said and the man sighed.

"I don't like yelling at you Yolanda, you're the only child I have and I care about you, just do what I say and very soon everything I have will be yours" the man said standing up and walking towards Yolanda.

"Your mother couldn't understand that, that's why she's dead, from now on, don't accept any job for whatever reason, you work for only me, do you understand?" He asked.

Yolanda bit her lips and nodded slowly.

"Good girl, now take care of everything, make sure the drugs get to Spain safely" he said and walked out of the warehouse.

Yolanda balled her fist, that bastard she called a father is getting on he nerves. She couldn't wait for him to die and have everything he owned.

She felt like choking him and watch him gasped for breath while he begged her.

"Gabriel Manuel, you time is near" she said coldly and walked out of the warehouse.

BEVERLY HILLS, 10AM.

"I told you I would find out who killed Felipe" Adrian said as he made his way to the couch to sit.

Sebastian was sitting in the couch with his phone in his hands when this pest came in, he always changes the passcode to his house Everytime but somehow, this blind idiot always finds out.

"You're not welcomed into my house" Sebastian said instead.

"Am never welcomed but still I let myself in" Adrian said sitting on the couch and Sebastian scoffed

"Like I was saying, I know who killed Felipe and fun fact, she's my patient" Adrian said with a smile.

"Your patient?" Sebastian asked.

"Yes my patient, I am a psychiatrist, you know what a psychiatrist is right?" Adrian asked.

"I suspected she was insane" Sebastian nonchantly.

"So Maria killed Felipe, but the question is why didn't you tell Antonio you didn't kill the guy, are you protecting her?" Adrian asked with a curious gaze.

Sebastian stood up and went upstairs leaving Adrian.

"I'm not dumb seb, I know you left me here" Adrian yelled.

His phone pinged indicating a message.

"Read the message" he said and the phone started talking.

"A message from Miss Maria Vicente, 'let's have a session tomorrow'" his programed phone AI said and he smirked.

"I would invite Sebastian as a guest" he muttered.

ANDALUSIA, SPAIN 7PM

"Did everything go well?" Gabriel asked and Yolanda who was on the phone with her father answered "yes"

"I would send you the details of everything" Yolanda said.

"That's good" Gabriel sighed in relief.

"Can I stay in Spain for sometime?" Yolanda asked.

"If this is because of Sebastian I refuse" Gabriel said immediately and Yolanda bit her lips.

"No it's not, I just wanted to see the beautiful country" Yolanda defended.

"Alright, one week" Gabriel said and hung up.

Yolanda sighed in frustration but she gained back her composure and smiled, after all she was going to see Sebastian again.

ADRIAN'S HOUSE, NEXT DAY

The door bell rang and a butler went to open it.

"Good morning ma'am, it's been a while" the butler said and Maria smiled, walking into the house.

"Mr. Mateo is in the lounge" the butler informed.

"Thank you" Maria said and walked towards the lounge to meet Adrian.

"You arrive early, please have a sit" Adrian smiled and Maria sat down.

"You know it's weird taking therapy from a blind man"  Maria started and Adrian Chuckled.

"People say that a lot but I am good at what I do" Adrian shrugged.

"Seems you've started cutting yourself again" he continued looking at the bandages on Maria's fingers.

"Yes, unfortunately, that's why am here" Maria Said.

"But the red theory was working perfectly" Adrian said.

"It was but not anymore" Maria replied.

"You killed someone, right?" Adrian asked knowingly.

"You know too much for a blind man" Maria stated and Adrian Chuckled.

The glass door to the lounge opened and Sebastian walked in looking at Adrian with a glare.

"Thank you for joining us seb" Adrian smiled.

Maria looked at Sebastian with a surprised look but then she smiled widely, she was strangely happy to see him.

"I can't believe we met again, am so happy to see you" Maria smiled and Adrian Chuckled.

"You heard that seb, she's happy to see you" Adrian repeated after Maria and Sebastian felt like strangling him.

"Seb? I like the name" Maria said excitedly and Adrian laughed.

Sebastian sighed heavily and walked out of the lounge but Maria stood up and followed him immediately, she stood in front of him blocking his way.

"I don't really care what relationship you and Adrian have but am so glad I came for my session today or else I wouldn't have met you, so he called you seb, is your name Sebastian?" Maria asked with curious eyes.

Sebastian felt like killing Adrian right now, Adrian took his black Ferrari and he came here to get it just to meet the crazy woman.

Sebastian made to Walk past her but she held him and he looked at her coldly but Maria didn't flinch.

"Don't leave yet" Maria complained but Sebastian couldn't careless.

He shook Maria off and started walking towards the door but Maria ran after him and stood in front of him again.

"I hate it when someone ignore me" Maria yelled obviously angry.

Sebastian held her and pined her to the wall beside him, their face inches apart as his gaze bore holes into her eyes.

"Are you that desperate to have me?" Maria asked with a wide smile.

"I don't want an insane Lady" Sebastian replied.

"A beautiful insane lady, you probably couldn't resist my charm" Maria said and Sebastian scoffed.

"I can't see properly but I can tell a romantic scene is going on" Adrian's voice was heard and Sebastian let go of Maria turning to him.

"You're wrong" Sebastian frowned.

"It would have been if you haven't interrupted" Maria complained.

"Ohh sorry my bad" Adrian smiled wildly.

"It would have not" Sebastian said to Maria and she smiled.

"Your blood is beautiful, are your wounds healed, have you gotten shot recently, I can stitch it up perfectly for you" Maria suggested and Adrian Chuckled.

Sebastian looked at the lady in front of him who has so much glitter in her eyes as she spoke.

"Is she obsessed with seeing blood?" Sebastian had to ask Adrian.

"Yes" Adrian replied and Sebastian turned back to Maria who was still smiling.

"I already have enough crazy people in my life" Sebastian said and turned towards the door leaving the house, Maria followed him after saying bye to Adrian.

"Finally, something fun" Adrian said.

"Listen, I wanted to kill you cause you are intimidating and you make me feel weak but I change my mind, I don't want to kill you anymore" Maria said walking after Sebastian who ignored her and got into the Ferrari he came here for.

Maria tapped on the window as he drove off.

She sighed and got into her car, driving after him.

"She's still following me?" Sebastian sighed.

He drove around town a little bit to shake her off but she was still on his trail so he just drove home.

He got down and saw Yolanda at the door smiling.

Maria's car stopped in front of the house and she got down also walking to Sebastian.

"I haven't finished talking" Maria said immediately she got to him but then turned to see Yolanda.

"Who are you?" Yolanda asked Maria.

"I'm his wife" Maria smiled bringing her hand to shake Yolanda.
