Chapter 4.

Dexter's Pov.

Remembering last night event, I woke up with a smile on my face, deciding it was time for me to leave for the meeting since I already received another missed call from my beta.

I tapped Susanna knowing that she's a light sleeper so tapping her twice will do the work "wake up bae I'm off to work"

"Good morning" she said placing a kiss on my lips.

"I'm gonna use the shower or we could use it together" I suggested wiggling my eyes.

"Nah I have to speak with Mira about something and it's really important I'll make it up to you later" she replied kissing my collar bone.

"Fine fine, go have your mother and daughter time" I said as I went into the bathroom.

I went down stairs as soon as I was done "I won't be able to have breakfast with you this morning, I have an important meeting with the shareholders" I explained to Susanna even though I knew it was a lie pulling her into a hug.

"Okay dear, love you" she called out as I made my way to my car "love you too"

"Mirabel come to the kitchen, real quick" i heard her say from the kitchen, smiling at how cheerful she is every morning, I drove off.

I guess since my birthday was in some days, I could propose to Susanna and finally make her mine even if that means that I had to forgive Mirabel

Mirabel's Pov.

"Mirabel ,come to the kitchen real quick!" I heard my mom called from the kitchen, shrugging i decided to go check what mom was up to before going for my early morning jog.

"Oh hi,, how are you" she asked in one breath, "I wanted to see if you could go shopping for me, it's Dexters birthday in 2 days, I really want to organise a party and introduce him as my boyfriend" she explained as she pulled me into a tight hug rocking me side to side.

"Ill go with Dorcas and Dwane mother" I said with the goofy smile since I just came up with a plan.

"We can plan a suprise birthday party for him" I said suprised at my idea but trying to convince myself that I could do it.

"Awwn thank you so much, I love those lashes by the way" my mom complimented as I pulled out my earbuds, I put on "Perfect" by Ali Gatie and tuned all my surroundings out and jogged at a slow pace for Dwane to catch up with not that he needed it though since he was always early for our early morning jog.

Then I told him everything, on noticing his questioning look at my decision"it's high time I let every thing go, she's my mother and Its been long since I've seen her this happy" I said to him.

"Okay" he mumbled under his breath then jogged round the park and returned back home.

Receiving an alert of $1000 in my account so I decided to call both Dwane and Dorcas and said "lets go plan the best party guys"

While browsing through the stores in the mall I had found a store where they sold couple outfits.

I decided to search for a gift for Dexter to help end our fight maybe so I picked a rolex and handed it over to the sales attendant for packaging and told them to write his name in calligraphy.

"whose is it" Dorcas said popping out from my back trying to play ignorant on the fact that I heard her ask.

" Oh hey Dorcas, how are you " I said .

I got a call from Dwane asking where we were at the mall. So I we went to meet up with himand discussed more on our plan.

"Here, this is for you" Dwane said handing over a cup of iced tea, while teasing Dorcas for her said dislike of anything tea or chocolate like.

Then we decided to head home already satisfied with the amount of items we've bought.

" Thank you for this wonderful plan mom will be very happy " I said to them.
