Mirabel's Pov

" Looking at your profile and all, we've decided that we would get back to you" said the man wearing a blue suit.

"Okay thank you sir" I say making my way out of the board room.

"She has an excellent record Mr Richard" one of the board of directors whisphered but I couldn't turn around to see who it was.

"Phew, that was nice"

"Thank you, have a great day" I shouted to the receptionist.

Deciding to check my phone, I saw three missed calls from my boyfriend Dwane.

"Oh shit" I said as I quickly dialed his number

"Hey sugar pie" he said as he picked on the second ring.

"Hey love, I missed your call" I exclaimed while blushing, his ability to make me blush never ages even after three years of our relationship.

" Yeah, Where you at?" He asked

"Hmmm I went to the grocery store for mom" I lied cause I wanted it to be a surprise to him since we really haven't spoken about University yet.

"Oh okay, wanna come over to the diner. Me and the guys are there" he said

Looking for a cab I said "I'll be there in ten love you"

"Love you too, be waiting" he responded

I got there within those ten minutes and went straight to our favourite booth at the diner, well you see I, Dorcas, Dwane and his Roland always sat down at this spot so we made it our favourite booth.

Seeing his friends I knew it was gonna be a long day, I might just grab something to eat and just chill I guess.

"Hey b" he kissed my cheeks while turning to his friends to talk about the soccer match.

Staring at Dwane was something I always enjoyed, creepy right but I don't care. He and I clicked together pretty well same interests and stuff, irrespective of our different status in college.

He is a cute black haired with built body.A smile from Dwane always sways you away from your worries, which leads me to his large fan base of girls but it never affected me cause I know my baby is loyal.

Well my baby Dwane is the CEO of Royal industry. So he is definitely every woman's dream, handsome, rich, loving and famous

"Hey babe, sorry about that. I just wanted to see you cause I miss you" he suddenly said, scratching his head a bit. I snapped my head to him instantly to meet his eyes, looking at him I saw the tiredness and guilt in his eyes.

Trying so hard to swallow the piece of burger in my mouth, I replied "yeah its fine no biggie. I missed you to loml" I laughed sheepishly then smiled warmly at him, he smiled back.

After two hours of telling ourselves how our day went with me skipping the interview details and me laughing at the fact that he had to ride with his granny to the hospital for her checkup since she refused to go with the driver.

"stop laughing" he said while staring at me with an emotion I'm fond of seeing in his eyes, I noticed his gaze at my lips then lowered my head to meet his lips, sliding his tongue into my lips , he grabbed my waist so as to enable full control over the kiss while I moaned while gliding my hands into his hair.

"Hey! love birds! Make out in the car if you want but you are holding us up cause it's almost time for the final football match!" Roland called out from the car, left me wondering when he and the other guys left the booth.

" Urrgh Cock blocker" Dwane whisphered, to which I responded with a chuckle

"We are coming" I shouted for him to hear

We jogged up to meet up with him alongside the others who was snickering to what Roland said. I was about to join Dwane at the front seat.

Curious, I unlocked my phone to see a text from my mother .

"Sweetie, Dexter will be sleeping over tonight, you have to be on your best behaviour"

I clenched my phone tightly and groaned loudly in annoyance " Just great!! You have got to be kidding me doesn't he have a house geez" Right when I thought I'll be free from Dexter for the rest of my day.

*What's up?" Dwane asked worriedly, I sighted tucking away my phone and closing the door to the car.

As much as I would have loved to tell Dwane the dispute between me and Dexter, which I know will surely lead to me staying over at his place and sleeping happily. I didn't want to go overboard with the issue and make him worried and I also remembered that he has to go for a family gathering with his parents and some business associates tomorrow

"Nothing much, just pissed about a news Dorcas told me" i said.

Looking at me, he said "oh okay, so home?" smiling at him I replied "yeah b".

Dwane took our friends home, making mine the last so we could spend more time together, giving him a little peck on the lips I told him good night. I noticed the door was still locked meaning no one was home yet.

Dexter's Pov

" Well the guys aren't the one getting pregnant" my sister Jenny said while grimacing making everyone laugh. Sighing I gave my most fake smile to everyone, I'm so damn tired for this family meeting.

I reached for Nate my beta so we could leave but from the corner of my eye I saw him already giving me the signal.

As he typed on his phone, ,his gaze shifted on me.

"So where to, the club, home?" He said in his deep rich voice, I snickered at him knowing that after the so called family meeting and the long boring discussion, we surely needed a drink for our nerves.

"You know as an Alpha's and Beta's of the most reputable pack ,we are supposed to lead my example and not to be seen drinking daily" I said to him

"You and I both know as werewolves, we barely get drunk and we sure do not drink daily" he said snickering.

"Well a few drinks with hurt" i said agreeing with him as we walked out of the office.

Yes I am a werewolf an Alpha to be precise but I kept it a secret from Sussana cause I didn't know how to tell her and also make her believe without breaking her heart

Getting to the cocktail bar, I ordered for shots of tequila, while our other friends came over to join us and made silly jokes amidst theirselves while other girls tried to make passes at my guy friends including me.

After some minutes I picked my phone to text Sussana and I saw a text from her already asking if i was down for a night warm shower.

I texted her saying definetely, cause I never want to miss a minute with her and I loved spending the night at her house.

After an hour of attempting to have fun at the bar, "I'm heading home" I shouted to Nate so he could hear me over the loud music playing.

"I'll pick the car up tomorrow" I said to the valet giving him the key.

Since I was the owner of the club i definitely have a nice parking spot.

10 minutes later.

Ringing the bell, Sussanna opened the door all dressed in a sexy lingerie.

"So sexy" I said outloud

I smiled towards her and gave her a peck on her lips .

"Why don't I help you remove this baby" I said to her grabbing her butt as I took quick strides to her room
