The Royal London Hospital

“Gulf, You’re awake.” Mew strokes his face slowly while the other hands holding his hand.

“I’ve never fainted before; I don’t like it for sure. Ack! My face.” He could only feel numbness on his face.

“You sure know how to give someone a heart attack,” Mew replied. “You scared the shit out of me. Gulf…”

“I’m sorry.” He sits up and gave him a weak smile. “It was stupid, and I should think twice.” He looks over to mew, sincerely asking apologizing.

“You don’t have to feel sorry, gulf.” mew hand-rubbed gulf cheeks and hold his hand again. “Just don’t do this again. Please…” He kisses gulf hands.

“Mew… your hands, why didn’t you get this treated properly. I will be fine here on my own, you should go to the nurse.” Gulf urge mew to go while he rests, he could not bear to see his hands it looks worse.

“Do not go away. I’m sorry for what happened, I will be back soon, promise me.” Mew demanded an answer before he steps away for a moment.

Gulf could only nod without saying a word, he wanted to give mew some assurance, but he is not sure that mew will listen to him. Mew scares him in a way that no one ever made him feels, he had lost it, not only his mind but his heart as well. He lays down to get some rest and gain his energy back but mew occupies his mind again.

This is madness, this feeling of falling in love with someone like mew, he could feel his chest tighten but he did love him in a way that he could never imagine. Was love supposed to feel like this, he should know better this is not the first time that he falls in love.

Gulf always takes good care of his previous girlfriends, even with his obsessions on travelling always in the way, he cares for them before. Never be the one who receives attentions and caring for him in this way, mew is a sweet, tender, loving and gives him comfort whenever he needed.

Gulf put his hand onto his chest, he told himself not to be a romantic fool because mew showed him last night that he can flip the switch and become aggressive and that gives terror to gulf. subconsciously, he knows that what he feels for mew will never be simple or ordinary.

He wants to ask mew to become his partner, this sounds crazy, bad idea as well. They’ve met each other for a week and this happens, he feels like he is in a time zone where no on exist except for them. His pride and ego are on the line, more than his heart, he has to be realistic that just because he loved him it does not mean that mew should return his feelings.

Someone opens the door, he thought it was mew but it turns out to be a stranger which he never saw before but he is bringing suitcase and put it to the side of the wall.

“Hello, I’m Lee. Mew’s driver I hope your feeling alright now?” He greets him politely.

“Hi, Lee. Yes, thank you for asking. I am fine.” Gulf replied while sitting up properly.

“I hope you will take good care of mew, he can be --- a bit difficult at a time. I never saw him react like this before. Sir... I mean mew has a reputation to uphold so involved in a street fight like this will bring him harm not only to his body.” He explains to gulf trying to make him understand that mew status.

“I see. I’m sorry for giving you troubles and mew, I will talk to him about this. Thank you, Lee.” He smiles to shows that he understand.

“Thank you, I will take my leave now. Get well soon.” He takes off his head as respect and leaves the room.

He feels angry and sad at the same time, to hell with this he should enjoy his trip like he planned it and go back. He will forget about mew right after this. They were both adults, this is a consensual act for both and he should have known better not to play with fire, you will end up burning yourself.

He will not cry, he closes his eyes tight and swore it, he will look like a fool in front of him. He will act like nothing and keep it to no strings attached relationship so it will be easier for him to cut the ties. At least that’s how he tries to convince his heart which is no longer belong to him.

Mew enter the room bringing breakfast, he can see his suitcase but no sight of Lee anywhere, he must have left. He ran his hand over his face, rubbing hard, trying to find a way to apologize he touched gulf hair.

That’s it, only one touch and he breaks down, sniffling like a baby. He could not do it, there is no way that he can be apart from this man without breaking his own heart. He would be damn at the end of it and only pains that he could feel.

He was probably a fool for believing and imagining that there could be us, one thing he had to learn from all of his parents, follows your heart but never put blame on anyone on what you have chosen.

Mew did not say anything and continues to hug him tightly to him, he remembers gulf look last night when he took down the guys, it was all panic and terrified and he almost loses him.

He never cared or pays attention to his partner before when they act out in jealousy, it is easy for him to walk away because he never loved them but with gulf, everything feels complicated, he makes him feels alive, possessives, addicted, concerned and his mind fills with gulf only.

He wants to set things straight and make gulf forget about last night, they will continue their trip and at the end of their journey, he will ask gulf to become his partner. For forever, he hoped.

“Feels better?” Mew pressed a kiss to his temple. “I will never hurt you, gulf.” his finger is not steady, he warned himself to keep in control.

This is natural, for mew to take care of him, gulf stops crying and reminds himself again if he was not expecting anything for return, he will not be disappointed. “Thank you, mew. Let’s eat we have trains to catch.”

“I promise, I will not hurt you. Gulf.” he kissed him on the lips.

He did not believe him, even as he opened his arms in acceptance, he should not have but now, experiencing the compassions, he falls deeper.

He let go of mew embraced and change to his normal clothes, they should be able to leave there soon, looking around this is not the normal hospital ward that you go to. Fancy, secluded, private doctors and nurse assign only for you. Clearly, mew pays for everything, he couldn't afford it. He becomes mad again thinking why would someone like mew want to be with him.

"Whatever, he will not be in the picture anymore when this is over. Just enjoy this gulf, while you can." He swallowed his own pride, knowing that what comes out from his mouth is just denial. For him to comfort himself, reminding does not put any high hopes on mew.

Mew is waiting for him patiently, his hands are wrapped up with bandages, he smiles brightly when gulf is back on his arms. Gulf can feel his knees weakling again for his charms, a whisper can be heard through the floor when mew courted him.

"He must have a title and very rich." Gulf mumbles on his own thoughts.

Lee is waiting for them downstairs and they straight go to the main stations, this time mew did what he should have done earlier take ownership towards gulf, he remains calms when talking to Linda and intertwined their hands together.

“So, this will be your itinerary for the rest of the weeks, Day 1 - Arrive and explore Locarno for 2 nights, you will take a flight from the UK to Zurich airport with rail travel to Locarno for 2 nights. Check in to your hotel and enjoy your first views of Locarno and Lake Maggiore. Day 2 - Locarno and the Centovalli Line, Day 3 - Travel to Lucerne for 4 nights, Day 4-6 - Lucerne and Central Switzerland, Day 7 - Luzern-Interlaken Express to Interlaken for 3 nights, Day 8-9 - Bernese Oberland, Day 10 - Lötschberg Regio Express to Brig for 2 nights, Day 11 - Brig and Zermatt, Day 12 - Glacier Express to Chur for 3 nights, Day 13-14 - Chur and the Rhaetian Railway, Day 15 - Last day, you can take a last look around historic Chur before you board the train to Zurich for your flight to the UK.”

Despite the fresh injury that they have, raise a question mark by the blondie but she did not dare to ask further she continues. “Prices from £2,204 per person staying in 4-star hotels,

1st class rail supplement £216. Half board prices on request. Full detailed itinerary sent with all tickets.”

“I want the 2nd class changed to first-class, 4-star hotels, the remaining balance I will be wired to you now, I want this trip to be the best among the best for us.” He looks at gulf and leans closer to him.

He is letting her know that he and gulf is an item, she took note on the gestures and stop ogling on mew, Gulf remains silent watching mew took control on the situations, he is not lying when mew act superior makes him feel secured and protected. He did grab mew hand too tight causing him to flinch, he’s to fixated on mew face. For one glorious moment, he let himself hope.

“Baby… you hold my hand too tight it hurts.” Mew pouts at him seeking attention.

“Hmm… what? Yeah, I’m sorry.” He let go of mew hands, but mew grabs his hand back to his. “I’m not asking you to let go, I just said it hurts,” Mew adds on while not removing his eyes off him.

“Sure… I will leave both of you to find your seats and we will be leaving approximately 1 hour to the airport, enjoy your trips. I will be around if you need me.” Linda interrupts them and walks away after that. Love, that’s all she could see.

“Gulf, what are you thinking, are you cold? Or you hungry? Is it your face, still hurts? Tell me what you feel…” Mew bombarded him with questions while walking to the nearest café.

“I'm fine, mew. Thank you for paying on the upgrades. I will find the money to repay you." He replies still looking down at mew hands.

"We will leave separately with them to the airports, here let me warm your hands. Yours cold as ice." Mew brings closer his chair to embrace gulf and give warmth to him.
