When I awaken my body was screaming for help. But I knew father and mother would be mad if I didn't get up and go to school.

I get up from my bed and head to bathroom. I take my long white strips of bandages out and quickly take a shower.

Once I'm done , I place a little bit of alcohol on my foot , slightly wincing at the pain. Once I've done that I put the bandages securely on . I look at the mirror and frown at my sight.

At least father managed not to scratch up my face too bad. That would be troublesome. I put bandages on my arms and then two on my face . I'll take them off later on when I feel I'm all heeled up. Once I'm done , I put my uniform on and proceeded downstairs.

"Oh my!" I hear giggles and I merely put my head down waking to the kitchen. "Well if you want to then we'll make it happen! Kai hunny your brother wants to attend York University along with you ! Isn't that swell?" Mothers giggles more as she looks at me with a glare.

"That's great. I'm happy you've decided to attend York it's the best in this town." I send a smile and Liam only looks at me with a weird look. He looks at my face then my foot.

Please Liam. Just drop yesterday and pretend you don't see anything. "Do you want to study at the library with me today?" He asks so suddenly I almost choked on my water.

I bring my shaking hand to my mouth and wipe the water from it. "Yeah I can s-study with you . Can I ?" I look to mother and she's smirking with her famous wicked look.

"Of course! Please study and be the best my babies." Disgusting. "When you get back home I'll cook a great meal for us to eat . As a family ." DISGUSTING.

It was absolutely sickening how she can say such things . It was absurd and I found this conversation pointless. I grabbed my bag and walked to the door. "I'll be walking today , b-

"Wait I'll go with you! It's good to get some exercise right?" Liam cheers as he grabs his bag fumbling over himself.

"Well then.. have a good day!" Mother was now glaring at me and I only coward away and began the short walk to school.

I want to see Luca. I need to thank him for yesterday he was probably confused. "Are they hurting you?"

I stopped. Frozen and my heart accelerated with fear. My wide pale eyes looking at him and he looks at me with worry in his eyes. Once again I was confused. "W-who's hurting me?"

"Quick the act. Your parents. Are they hurting you , tell me now!" He yells and I gasp as I looked at the ground. Then I felt a hot substance running down my cheek making me flinch. I lift my head up and touch my face.

"W-What's this? Is this what is feels like to cry? Ah pathetic." I wail In my hands and a body clashed with mines. Hugging me tightly. Why was I crying ? I failed Luca . I failed.

"H-hey I'm sorry okay? If they're hurting you then we have to tell someone righ-"

"SHUT UP!" I yell , pushing him away. He looked confused and I only grabbed my throbbing forehead. "Just stay out of it. Yes they fucking hit me so what? You've only been here for two weeks so just act like I don't exist." I merely say as I wipe my cheeks and start my walk to school.

"I won't forgive them!" He yells and I didn't stop . I kept on walking till I saw the familiar school. "Stop!" He calls out for me and I only sigh continuing my way. Then I'm pulled back and I watch the speeding car pass me. "Open your fucking eyes Kai. You almost just killed." I look at Liam and he's panting softly. I blink a couple of times before watching the car drive away ,recklessly.

Come on Kai get your head out of your ass. "Thank you. Hey let's talk when we get home." I smile to cover it up but I could already tell he wasn't buying it. I get out of his hold and proceed to first class.

When I got there I saw Luca sitting there with a angry look on his face and I smile. I tipped toed and tapped his shoulder. He squeals and look at me with a glare. "You scared me shitless dude." He frowns as I sit down . Then his face hardens as he cups my cheek . I looked into his eyes and saw an unfamiliar look.

"Luca?" I ask and he blinks a couple of times before sighing and letting me go. He looked in a haze and I only frowned.

"Seriously who does that disgusting man think he is ? I'll fucking kill him I swear. Do you hear me Kai ? I'll fucking kill your parents." He turn back around and captures my hands , starring deeply into my eyes. "Stay with me please."

I looked at him before chuckling softly . Wincing as my ribs started to hurt. "You know I can't do that Luca. Just don't worry so mu-

"How can I not worry about you when you look like this!" His voice sounded wobbly and tears started to stream down. He hugged me and I froze before wrapping my hands on him. Looks like he's a sensitive one.

"Stop crying dork. Remember what you told me. When you cry you've let them know that they've won and you've lost." He laughs as his hold tightens and I smile. "Everything's gonna be fine."

"Who does she think she is talking him!"

"Oh my god are they dating? He has such bad taste."

"Doesn't she like fight and shit."

I bite my lips nervously as I push away from him and focused to the front. My shaking hands came to my mouth and I felt like I was going to vomit. "Are you okay , what happened?" He asks as he pats my back and I inhale deeply before shaking my head.

"Just something I ate this morning probably."

He looked unsure but he didn't ask anymore questions which I was more than grateful.

"Students students. Have you guys finished the project ?" The class nodded there heads and I sigh. I totally forgot about it.

"Hey I already finished my part. Try not worry so much I'll make the slides okay?" Luca whispers in my ear and I smile nodding my head.

"Well then . Tomorrow we'll be presenting. I want to tell you that we're going on a little trip to the plantation to explore new things. We leave in three weeks  so I need your permission forms ASAP." I sigh as I doodle something random on my paper.

Mother and father never allowed me to go on trips. In fathers exact words he says that trip get you to no knowledge and there's no point when you can discover anything you want by reading. There's one thing I've always wanted to do and that was to see the world. I wanna ride a bus! I wanna be able to breath fresh air and not have to worry about whether I'm gonna live or not the next morning. I hate it . I hate it here.

The teacher kept on going on and on and I only focused my attention on the doodle I was drawing. Then I felt a tap on my shoulders and I flinch turning around . Liam was smiling as he passed me a note. The note read , hey so you think your parents are gonna let us go?

I take my pencil and write him back with just a "no" and he looked confused. He might get to go but other than that I wasn't quite worried about trips. "That's it for today's lesson . Please be ready for presentations tomorrow." And then the bell ranged and I got up and hissed at sides.

"Let's go Kai." Luca warmly smiles as wraps a arm on my shoulder. I shake my head and chuckle softly.

"Don't act so closely now that we know each other. You do know you're the top of the school right? It seemed weird that you'd hang out with me ya know'" . I shrug and he frowns turning my body towards him.

"I don't fucking care." That's it. That's what he simply said and he smiled as we began walking to class. I bring my head up and slightly hit his head. He whines before looking at me with such a saddened look. "Owww , what was that for shorty?" I groan slapping his head again.

"That's for telling me you're not gonna try and get into college. And the second one was because I don't like being called shorty ." He grins wickedly as he pulls my hair and I gasp .

"Oops." I get on my tippy toes pulling his hair and he laughs clasping my hands together. "Okay okay I give I'm sorry . Jesus fuck I think I'm bleeding oh no." I scowl at his dramatic self and I began walking to my next class.

It was athletics and I was on the bench gazing at the sky. Watching the moving clouds and relaxing at the cold but hot air hitting my face. "You really are a slut you know? You should be ashamed of yourself."

I turn around and Cathy was looking at me with a killer look and I only stood up quickly. "All you ever say is sorry you dumb bitch? Stay away from him!" Was she talking about Liam? No that wouldn't make sense since we live together.

"L-Luca?" I whisper and she nods angrily . I stood straighter and looked her in the eye. "Y-you have nothing to worry about. I've known him for about three years . He's just my best frien-

"Not anymore!" Then she raises her hands but a hand clamps on her wrist making me confused. Then I looked up and gasp as I saw him.
