" Are you okay?" June asked, her voice filled with concern as she noticed Josephine's distant expression. Josephine blinked rapidly, snapping out of her daze and realizing that she had been lost in a world where only Deep existed. Flustered, she stammered , " Y_yes I am fine. just got lost in my thoughts for a moment" . But deep down, Josephine knew that something had changed with her after locking eyes with Deep.

" okay" June said, as she nodded her head in understanding. The rest hours in school they attended classes together.

Josephine really enjoyed herself at school being her first day in college, she can't wait to explore more , as she eagerly waited for her second day.

Josephine wake up, dressed up for school and walked to the dinning room to have her breakfast before going to school, she didn't see her mother but saw a note on the table.

" Sorry honey I left early to work, it is urgent please take care of yourself, I LOVE YOU" that is what is written on the note.

" I love you too" said Josephine to no one in particular as she sat down and ate her food. After about an hour Josephine is already in the school, today she tries to dress a little classy. Through out yesterday she has been thinking about Deep, his blue eyes and his perfect face, maybe she is crushing on him.

she proudly walked to her first lesson with a beautiful smile on her face. some students are staring at her . she knows her beauty can draw attention to her that is why many guys in her former school wants to date her but she rejected all of them and that makes them start bullying her.

" Hi Josephine" said June smiling as she walked to her, they hugged each other for a seconds before disengaging from the hug.

" How was your night? I hope you dream about me" said Josephine, smiling at her.

" Yeah, I saw you in my dreams but you wanted to kill me" said June jokily as they both laughed before starting walking to class together.

As they were walking to class June saw Charles so she dragged Josephine to him and introduce her to him as her new friend.

" Hi Charles, this is Josephine my new friend " said June to Charles introducing Josephine to him. Josephine can't believe her eyes, he is so handsome but he is not handsome like Deep her mind remind her.

" Hi nice meeting you " said Charles smiling, offering his hand for a handshake, Josephine shyly shakes his hand for a seconds before removing her hand from his.

" Nice meeting you too " said Josephine feeling embarrassed that he noticed her checking him out because the smirk on his face say it all.

" Okay let go, we are going to meet during lunch break " said June as she held Josephine hand and walked to the class.

" who is he to you?" Josephine asked, she doesn't want to have a crush on her friend's boyfriend so it is better she ask.

" He is my cousin's brother and also the school singer that I told you about yesterday " said June proudly, she will happily join Josephine and Charles together if they love each other.

" Wow it's nice to have a handsome cousin like him" said Josephine smiling shyly to June, she blushed when she remembered that she just confessed that Charles is handsome.

As they walked inside the class everywhere was noisy , all the students were chatting excitedly about a birthday party.

" who is having a birthday party?" June asked a girl beside her, as she stared around the class confusedly .

" Tomorrow is Grace's birthday party and everyone in the school is invited as you can see everyone is looking for their date" the girl answered happily.

" Oh I see" said June nodding her head in understanding but Josephine didn't react because she is not a party person so she doesn't care about it.

" So , are you going?" June question because she knows Josephine don't look like someone that will love parties. Josephine just nodded her head negatively and said " No, I am not interested in party".

" Oh I see" said June as she nodded understandly. she knows that Josephine wasn't one for parties, it wasn't really her scene. But for June, every party was an opportunity for adventure and new experiences.

" Well , if you change your mind" June said with a mischievous grin . " I will save you a dance". With that playful remarks, she headed to sit down on her seat.

As Josephine watched her friend leave with excitement in her eyes, she couldn't help but feel a pang of couriosity stirring within herself. Maybe there was more to these parties than what met the eye? . After all these years of staying away from them perhaps it was time for something different?.

Josephine sat there, contemplating June's words. The thought of stepping out of her comfort zone and attending a party seemed both intriguing and intimidating. She wondered what it would be like to let loose for once, to embrace the thrill of the unknown. Maybe it was time to take a chance, she thought.

" I want to go to the restroom" said Josephine since the teacher is not in the class. she quickly runs to the restroom and after she is done she decided to go to the library to read some books to clear her mind because a lot of thoughts are running through it.

There is a building before the library as she is passing beside it . she heard some noise like someone was moaning. She wanted to ignore it because it was not her business, it some teenagers that can't control their hormones, she thought.

" Yes ......harder so deep........oh my God Deep you are the best" a female voice kept moaning, the name that the girl mentioned made to stop in her plan to walked away.

As Josephine debated whether to intervene or quietly leave, a mix of emotions flooded through her mind _ confusion and jealousy . But why will she been jealous when they don't know each other?.

Unable to resist any longer Josephine tiptoed closer to the source of the voice. Peering through a crack in the door, she caught sight of Deep entangled with a seductive stranger whose identity remained hidden under a veil of darkness.

The more she stays to watch the more she is hurt so she just finally walks away but she has been thinking, why will she be jealous? he is not her boyfriend, he is some one she is having a crush on.

As Josephine walked away, her heart felt heavy with a mix of emotions. She couldn't understand why she is feeling jealous when Deep wasn't even her boyfriend. But deep down, she knew that her feelings for him ran deeper than just a simple crush. The sight of him being intimate with some one else stirred something inside her .

" What took you long?" June asked the seconds Josephine walked inside the class. The teacher had already gone out of the class while students were already going out of the class.

" I saw something that I am not supposed to see" Josephine explained everything to June.

" He is a Playboy after that incident, he will never love any girl again" June said. Deep used to be a lover boy and he loved Lisa so much he always posted her on his social media page but after that heart break he totally change.
