To Hate and to Love

Josephine can't believe that finally she is in her dream city which happens to be New York city, she had lived in the united state since she was born but never got the opportunity to go to New York City.

Thanks to her mother's journalist work she found herself in her dream city. She lives with her single mother. she has never seen her father and she doesn't care to see him . Getting admission into the best College in New York City due to her excellent performance in her former school.

" Good morning Mom" said Josephine wearing a pink shirt and blue jeans trouser with a black sneaker ready for her first day in college.

" How was your night baby?" Mrs Amor asked, smiling and kissing Josephine on her cheeks before sitting down in her chair at the dinning table to have her breakfast.

" it's fine Mom, it's just that I was thinking about my first day in college" Josephine replied, which makes her mother worry because Josephine used to get bullied in her former school.

" Don't worry baby, you will be fine" said Mrs Amor giving her an assurance smile which make Josephine happy.

" Okay ma, am going bye" said Josephine when she finished eating her food, she carried her bag and start walking towards the door.

" Okay, bye love you alway" said Mrs Amor smiling until Josephine is out of her sight. Mrs Amor is glad that she has a beautiful daughter like Josephine that understand her and always make her happy.

Josephine waited for the cab . After some minutes she saw a cab coming and she stopped it and told the driver her address before driving away. After some minutes they are in front of the most beautiful and prestigious college she has ever seen in her life.

" Thank you " said Josephine after paying the driver his money before going inside the school gate . Students are dressed like they all came for fashion shows, she starts feeling ashamed of her clothes, she felt out of their league.

She walked to the principal office to collect her time table and her first lesson was literature in English since she is studying journalism. Getting to the class the students are already seated while waiting for the teacher. Josephine went and sat down beside a girl since she is the only one sitting on the chair.

" Hi my name is June. Nice meeting you" said June smiling at her, offering her hand for a shake.

" Josephine" she quickly introduce herself, smiling happily. She can't believe that she meet nice person here as everyone is looking rich and arrogant.

" I hope we can be friends and if you are free during lunch break maybe you can take me on tour around the school and tell me some important things about the school" Josephine suggested, hoping that June will agree.

" Okay that is not a big deal" said June just then the teacher walked inside the class and started teaching. After one hour the lesson was over and Mrs Brown ( the teacher) walked out.

" My next class is music so bye am going" said Josephine smiling while waving her hand at June.

" My next class is also music" said June, walking to meet up with her while Josephine is walking slowly waiting for June to catch up with her when she just suddenly collides with a hard but warm chest.

" Am so sorry" said Josephine apologizing to the person, she looks up to the person and she completely go mute instantly just staring at the beautiful blue and the most perfect face she ever seen in her entire life.

" Hey , are you deaf I have been talking to you but you just remained silent" Deep said angrily, he has been talking to her but she is just staring at his face, he knows he is handsome but she should a little shame.

" stop being angry at me because you are also at fault so you have to apologize since I have done mine" said Josephine feeling embarrassed about her behaviors earlier.

" I will never apologize to you because you are just an ordinary girl" Deep whispers in her ear before walking away with an evil smirk on his face. Josephine was shocked about his behaviors she stayed still until June walked to her to make her recover from the shock.

" Hey let's go to class, we are already late". said June, that is when she noticed that students witnessed everything that happened. June knows that it will be the hottest news in the school group chat.

" Okay let go" said Josephine as they walked to the music class . After one hour the teacher is already gone of the class.

" So which club did you choose?" June asked Josephine when she was taking her on tour around the school.

" I loved music so I choose social club and please who is that Guy" said Josephine, she wants to know which kind of guy that doesn't respect girls.

" That is Deep, the captain of the football team and also the governor's son" June replied.

" I see that makes him an arrogant jerk towards girls" said Josephine, feeling annoyed when ever she remembers the incident.

" Just try to stay away from him" June warned with a serious tone as they finished their tour around the school ground. intrigued by June's cryptic advice, they headed towards the bustling school cafeteria where students eagerly lined up for lunch.

Josephine couldn't resist casting glances at different groups of students as they made their way through the crowd.

Taking their seats at a corner table near a large window overlooking the courtyard, Josephine's gaze wandered across the fellow school mates engrossed in conversation and laughter while waiting for their meals.

Then suddenly she spotted him , dark hair falling loosely over his forehead hiding his piercing gaze behind untold secret. He stood out among his peer confident yet enigmatic. His presence cast an invisible spell on those nearby, drawing attention to him.

" The school is very beautiful but it is an expensive school full of rich arrogant students" said Josephine when she finally withdrew her gaze from Deep.

" Yeah and also try to stay out of trouble but don't let anyone bully you , even it Deep or Charles" said June, eating her food.

" Who is Charles?" Josephine asked, looking confused she knows Deep as the governor's son but she doesn't have any ideas about Charles.

" Charles is the school's popular singer but they are enemies with Deep" June explained it to her.

Josephine nodded her head as she listens intently to June's explanation about Charles and Deep. she couldn't help but feel intrigued by the complex dynamic between them. The school seemed to be divided into two groups, with each side passionately supporting their favorite.

" So , are there any means girl that I need to stay away from?" Josephine question, because all schools have that means girls that always think the world revolves around them and bullied the less privilege ones.

" Yes , Mira and her friends", June replied. just then Grace walked in looking beautiful as she confidently walked to her table with her friends.

" Who are them?" Josephine asked. Referring to Grace as she keeps on staring Grace.

" That is Grace, she is a popular model but a very friendly girl and I like her so much " June answered smiling.

" Oh " that is all Josephine can say as she admired Grace's beauty.

June and Josephine were chatting, the cheerful conversation between them came to an abrupt halt when Josephine sensed an intense stare fixed upon her . Her instincts led her to look in that direction, where she discovered herself captivated by the deep blue eyes of Deep . Time seemed to stand still as their gazes intertwined, weaving an unspoken tale of longing and curiosity.

A surge of electricity coursed through Josephine's veins as she stared into Deep's mesmerizing eyes. it was as if they were communicating on a level beyond words, exchanging thoughts and feeling effortlessly. in that fleeting moment, she knew there was something extraordinary between them an undeniable connection that defied logic and reason.
