CHAPTER 9

Shawn Eddinson. Williams' Basketball Team Captain. Has this blue gray eyes, dark brown hair, and a little dimple that make every girl squeal and flail like there's no more tomorrow. 6'3" tall that match his muscles so perfectly. A perfect Jock Hottie.

Before, I thought he's this arrogant air headed jock. But from what I'm seeing now, I got the wrong impression about him. Well, of course except that he's a total playboy, that's given dude.

"How 'bout ya, Sticky Note? Whaccha like?" Said Shawn poking my arm, pulling me back from my thoughts.

"Ahm, chocolate ice cream?" I answered him but it looked more like a question.

"You're spacing out." He eyed at me suspiciously. " You're not imagining my abs, right?" Maybe I'm right from the start, he's an airhead.

"Hell never, Mr. Eddinson. Never in a million years." I hissed.

"Or a thousand light years." Agnes added.

Shawn opened his mouth to say something but Lucas interfered.

"Yes, because of the fact that she's imagining mine. Right, missy?" Giving me his full wide stupid yet attractive smile.

"Oh my gosh, Lucas. Try to think right. Never." I screeched.

"Dimwits." Said the cursing Agnes.

"I love you too, Agnes." Said Shawn. "So much." And he blew a kiss in Agnes' direction but she shoo-ed it away.

"Well, come on children. It's time to watch a movie." Lucas told us like were his kindergarten students.

Home cinema. To think that they have this as well?! Eddinson residence never cease to amaze me.

I sat between Agnes and Lucas. Shawn sat beside Agnes. She gave him a not-so-good look, and Shawn just smiled saying that this is his house. Or mansion, rather.

The movie started rolling. Everyone shut their mouths and are too focused on the movie... Well, except Lucas. He's eating his salad non stop, I can even hear him chew! He looked at me and offered his salad.

"Want some?" He smiled playfully.

"Focus on the movie, Mr. Nashlin."

He set aside his salad and he look at me.

"It's more comfortable this way." He closed the gap between our faces. For a second I thought he's gonna kiss me, but hell to my daydream... He pushed some button in my chair that is effin located near my face. The chair expanded and soon became a foldable-like bed. Now I'm laying. He did the same, and when Shawn and Agnes noticed it, they pushed their buttons as well.

This is the scene where Vanessa kissed the guy in front of everyone, I was so into their moment but I felt that he's staring at me, but when I looked at him, he looked away.

This is a great film. I cursed myself for not knowing this 'till now.

And there. A happy ending for them.

We transferred to their guest room to start with the reaction paper. They gave their opinions and once were done with the draft and some revising, Shawn started typing it.

It's really a good film. Letting us realized that we shouldn't judge on the appearance itself, that there is more on the inside. If we think were right, don't let anyone make the decision for us. I remembered what Lucas said... That I still have more to show.. And that hit me. I was being toyed by Brit the whole time.

"Yes! Were done guys." Shawn smiled at us. "My first project ever." And he beamed.

I told you before... They don't give a damn about projects, I don't know what made them do this.

"Dinner, folks?" Shawn asked us.

"Sure."

"Sure"

"Nope." I answered. "Mom's waiting for me. She told me to be home by dinner." Kill joy Sab. Kill joy.

"Okay. Maybe next time dude." Shawn said. "Want someone to drive you home? I can call my driver."

"Oh no no. I'm good!" I replied.

We reached their gates and guards opened it for us.

"Ya sure about commuting alone?" Lucas asked me again. He wants to take me home, but I refused.

"Yes, Lil Lu." I waved at them. "Bye, guys. Thank you."

"See.you at school." Agnes waved back.

"Bye Sticky note!" Shawn waved as well.

I've never been invited to my classmate's house ever since I entered Williams.

As I wait for the bus, I stared at the dark sky.

" Wow this is the first time I've had fun in a while." I thought to myself.
