Chapter 2: Desire

Her lips are soft but demanding and they taste like raspberries. The first few seconds, our lips are just pressed together, but then I pull away just for a moment to adjust my hands on her neck and part my lips to taste hers better. She gasps quietly as I suck on her lower one, both of us breathing heavily, but she's the one who slips her tongue into my mouth. And I let her. Of course, I do.

My hands move down towards her waist as our tongues dance together in my mouth, fighting over dominance. I grip her waist with my hands, pulling her on top of me and she giggles into my mouth, making butterflies flutter their wings against the inside of my stomach. At first, I think it was because I made her lie on me, but as I move my hands a little, she giggles again and pushes herself away from my lips just for a moment, both of her hands on my chest.

"Don't tickle me," she giggles, her hands now moving down to mine, and then she brings all of them up to my chest.

"I'm not," I chuckle, and it makes her look even cuter as she smiles bigger (if that's possible). Her hands cup my face softly and her kiss expresses the same: softness, love, and desire.

When she pulls away, I honestly wait and long for another kiss, but instead, she hides her face into my chest, making me shiver, but feel extremely happy feeling her smiling mouth against my skin, the hot breath growing my desire for her..

"Hey, you," I say quietly and move my hands back to her waist, tickling her as always. She squeaks and rolls off of me but remains with her head on my chest. I wrap my full arms around her now and nuzzle my nose into her hair, breathing in the amazing scent of her shampoo or conditioner.

We just lie like that for a while; in each other’s arms, me constantly giving her a kiss on her head or cheeks or temple and when she sometimes looks up, I peck her lips softly as well.

I keep tracing circles on her stomach, making her shiver and get goosebumps, but I look at her face all the time too and see that it tickles her, so I keep doing it to tease her. That's until she starts pulling her stomach in and lets out a shaky breath, sounding like she's laughing. I keep my hand there though and keep doing it until her hand flies there and pulls mine away, looking up at me with a grin. She intertwines our fingers and rests them back onto her stomach while leaning up to taste my lips again.

I let her lock our lips and kiss her back softly, but I'm sure she can feel the lust in it. I want nothing more than to just keep kissing her. I never want to part. But this time we're not breathing while kissing so we have to pull away soon. And when we do, I feel her hips aching towards me.

"Hey," I chuckle and move my hands there, on her hips. My brain keeps giving me signals, saying that if I moved my thumbs just a little, I could pull her bikinis down and I would find her hot and wet, aching for me. But I block those out and try to say what I wanted to say before that happened. "We can't do this right now, okay? We have to talk through some stuff and then someday, maybe," I say with a choked voice.

She sighs and nods, pressing her thighs together, getting me hard. "Crap," I murmur and try to ignore the hard dick in my swimming trunks. I think she can see it though or feel it, I'm not sure. She kisses my chest softly. "Nora," I groan and she looks up at me with raised eyebrows. "You can't just do that in my situation," I whine.

She giggles at me. "Sorry, I thought it would make you feel better."

"That's exactly the situation I'm keeping away from," I say, hiding my face into her hair and breathing her in. Her head moves back onto my chest smoothly and her one hand onto my biceps that's around her, the other hand on my chest. "Norey, we should talk," I say softly.

"Hey, we're back!" I shout to Nora's family.

"Hey," Reni says, running to us. We hold a respectful space between the two of us not to hold hands again.

"What are you doing here?" I ask as Nora wraps her arms around her, Reni resting her back against her stomach.

"We never left," she says. That means they're all still here. Me and Nora exchange glances. "And Daniel and Sophia are here too."

I really hold back my groan, but Nora sighs quietly. "Okay," she murmurs and we look at each other for one more time before following my sister to the living room. My frown goes away the exact moment we enter. Our parents are sitting on the big couch and grinning at Daniel and Sophia who are dancing a duet in Just Dance on PS4.

"Hey, you two," Daniel says, not looking away from the screen.

"Hey," we both chuckle and I feel Norey leaning against me, my arm going around her shoulders. These two finish the song and the moment they do, they're kissing. I see my mom look at Nora's with a smirk and my dad looking really annoyed.

Nora pushes herself normally on her feet and she goes and pushes them apart. "You either stop or get out."

"Ouch," Sophia says, pulling her into a hug. Then she looks at me as they pull away. "You two have been ignoring us," she accuses.

"Yeah well, we're really not in the mood to see you guys making out," I roll my eyes.

"You're up, dude," Dan says, throwing me his phone.

"Woah, that's a pretty expensive device you got here, be careful," I say. He shrugs at that.

"Seriously Dan?" Nora asks, taking Sophia's phone. "It's fucking iPhone X. Why do you even need that? You too." She frowns at their matching phones.

"Where did you get that?" I ask, staring at the phone in my hand.

"Her dad," Daniel just simply says.

"Why do you need an iPhone X, you had 8 Plus?" I ask both of them softly.

"I don't know. Why is that so important right now?" he asks in confusion, starting to raise her voice.

"Are you kidding me?" Nora asks, holding her rage back.

"Nora, what's the big deal? It's just a phone," Sophia says.

"People are fucking starving all around the world, Soph!" Nora shouts.

"Nora," her dad says with a little warning voice.

"Children are working their asses off in less developed countries to get food and stay alive and you have money to actually help them and you fucking buy a phone?!" she's totally raging now. I understand why she's acting like that at the moment, because honestly I'm holding myself back from doing the same, but I see the shame and sadness on Sophia's face as she's suddenly standing not in the most confident position as usually.

There are a few moments of awkward silence and then Nora sighs, lowering her head and letting her hands fall down in defeat. "Sorry," she murmurs sadly.

Sophia sighs and goes to her, wrapping her arms around my future girlfriend. Nora's shoulders raise up a little in the beginning, but Sophia tells her something really quietly, making Nora smile just a little and relax. "No," she answers with a little smile to whatever she just said or asked. "No," she giggles again after a little pause of what Sophia just said.

I look at Daniel with raised eyebrows and he does the same. We both know these two can't be mad at each other longer than two minutes. I've stayed away from Daniel for weeks.

"He's a mobster, Soph."

"I know," Soph's face wrinkles up. "I'm just taking an advantage of him."

Nora rolls her eyes at that, still smiling a little. "Just shut up before I'll get mad at you."

"Aren't you already mad?" I tease. She sends me a glare, walks to me, grabs the phone from my hand and hands it to Daniel.

"Dan, let's dance," she says and glares at me again. I grab her wrist, making her stop and even from behind her I can see her cheeks raising up as she smiles.

"You can't be mad at Sophia but you can't take my teasing?" I ask with raised eyebrows.

She turns her head to look at me. "I was the one who yelled."

"At least what you yelled was right," I say, grabbing the phone back from Daniel.

"Don't start you too," Sophia tells me.

I raise my eyebrows. "You know how many times in total you two have been arguing about it?"

"No. And you shouldn't either, creep," she teases.

"Don't change the subject," I say, pointing my finger at her.

"Can you kids stop the fighting?" my dad asks and we all look at him with raised eyebrows.

"This is not even fighting," Daniel says, frowning. "They do it every time she says something about money." He shrugs like it's no big deal.

"Yeah, cause it's always stupid, I'm sorry, okay?" Soph asks.

I shrug and smile. "That's better." My next move is grabbing Daniel's phone from him and unlocking it. I choose our song for me and Nora to dance to and change our names. She grins, hearing the song we used to sing and dance to when we were little.

"Go ahead, James," I smirk.

"Oh I will," she giggles and the song starts.

"Can he stay over tonight?" Nora asks my parents as we're supposed to leave cause it's late.

"Not today, Nora," dad says, pulling me up from the couch.

"Why?" I frown.

"You have your home too," mom chuckles, making Nora frown.

"He hasn't stayed here for like two weeks now..."

"Nora," Mary chuckles. "If they say no, it's a no. Leave them alone."

Nora's face turns cute as her lower lip goes a little over her upper and she looks at me. I smile at the face and purse my lips a little to get the goodbye kiss. She pushes herself up, pecks my lips and starts walking away with a smile, but my dad grabs her hand, stopping her. She sighs and turns around with the same smile.

"What was that?" my mom asks suspiciously, looking between both of us.

"A sign of friendship," she smiles.

"Nora," her dad warns. "Why did you kiss him?" Suddenly they all look very serious and shocked.

"It's a peck, not a kiss," I say. He narrows his eyes at me a little and looks back at his daughter.

"Seriously dad. If you google 'kiss or peck', the first thing you get is 'peck on cheek or mouth is a sign of friendship'," she says, being cheeky as always. She is slightly rude to her parents sometimes, but it's always a clever teasing comeback, which I find amusing.

"Nora," my mom says.

Norey smiles. "Goodnight." She walks out of the room, grabbing her book with her, leaving me to handle all of this. And suddenly all the eyes are on me.

"What? She's my best friend," I say with an 'isn't that already obvious' voice and walk out of the room and after that, out of the front door. I'm smiling so big and my brain doesn't seem to remember how to stop.
