Where the hell was her brain when she made these two her friends?

"You two, get out" Darcia said and pushed the both of them outside and closed the door

"Shit Darcia open the door, what if your dad sees me like this?" Maverick half-yelled knocking on the

door

Darcia's lip curled slightly into a smile, she loved hearing Maverick beg her like this

"Com'n Darcia stop being cruel" Livia pleaded

"I love being cruel" Darcia replied

"It's not good for the health" Livia said

"Don't worry about my health, it's just fine. You should worry about yourselves" she said and Maverick

groaned dramatically causing her to giggle slightly

"Please Darcy" he pleaded again and she finally opened the door

Maverick ran and rushed to change into his clothes while Livia and Darcia laughed.

Maverick stayed with Darcia and Livia for the night. The next day they prepared for Darcia and Livia's

departure

"We have to leave earlier, it'll be night time by the time we get there" Livia

"I thought we were teleporting?" Darcia asked

"No, it'll be too dangerous. Your dad already made a portal for us to go through" Livia replied

Darcia changed into another outfit which was dark as usual and headed for the throne room where

everyone was present including the king's advisers

"Finally" Esmeralda rolled her eyes when she saw Darcia

"Father" Darcia said cooly

"Come my dear" Luciano stretched his hand and Darcia walked into his embrace

Though she didn't hug him back, she naturally didn't like body contact but she could manage her father's

touch

Whenever someone else hugs her, she just feels really uncomfortable and dangerous, her long nails just

wants to dig into the person's neck

"Go safe and I trust you'll do a great job, like you've always done" Luciano said and patted her back

gently

He released her and immediately a portal opened, Luciano turned to Livia who bowed immediately

"Take care of my daughter, that's your responsibility" he said

"Yes your majesty" Livia replied and Luciano patted her back twice

He drew Livia close and whispered something into her ears, Livia nodded and Luciano straightened

"Do a good job, the both of you" he said

"Goodbye father" Darcia said and Luciano nodded

"Don't get lost or killed" Amber said with a smirk but Darcia ignored her

And like that Livia and Darcia walked into the portal, the portal closed immediately they walked in

disappearing into thin air

"I miss her already" Gisela said sniffing

Off-course she was being sarcastic

Luciano and his advisors walked out if the throne room, while Rosella smirked and turned to Amber's

direction, the latter returned the smirk with the same viscous vibe

"Our plan starts fully now" Rosella muttered abs amber nodded.

Meanwhile the portal opened up again, Darcia and Livia stepped out into a huge room, the room was

already dark themed and the window showed it was dark outside

"We've arrived" Darcia said and walked to the window sighed while Livia looked around the huge room

"Beautiful" Livia said in awe

"This is mine"

"Huh?"

"This room is mine" Darcia said and Livia blinked at her

"Then where am I supposed to sleep?" Livia asked again

Darcia pouted at the door and Livia nodded in realization

"Gosh I'm so stupid" she hit her head

"It's a good thing you know" Darcia said lazily

They walked out of the room into the empty hallway that was lit up with lights and down the huge stairs

with golden railings

"Oh my...." Livia gushed as she raj her hands down the railings

"Wait it's not just the two of us in this house right?"

Before Darcia could reply, a man that looked very young walked to them, he bowed slightly

"I'm Jevin, your butler" he said and Livia widened her eyes

"Our butler? But you're so young and... And.... Handsome" she mumbled the last part but Jevin raised a

brow as he heard her

"If there is anything you would like ma'am..."

"What's the time?" Darcia cut in

"It's some minutes past eight pm ma'am" Jevin replied

"Wow, time difference" Livia said

"Show us around" Darcia said again and Jevin nodded

He led the way as they walked around the surprisingly huge mansion, Livia couldn't stop oohing and

ahhing. The mansion had a pool and a garden with a space for resting

But off-course to they wouldn't be using that because they weren't humans. He showed them inside the

mansion too and Livia's room was beside Darcia's and opposite Jevin's

"Do you know the way to the company?" Darcia asked as they say for dinner

She and Livia had freshened up and changed into something more comfortable

"No but the driver will take you there" Jevin replied as the only maid served Livia and Darcia's dinner

"Aren't you eating?" Livia asked Jevin

Darcia raised her brows at this

"I'm not to eat until you two are satisfied" he replied

"Please join us" Darcia said

"I politely decline ma'am" Jevin said and Livia pouted

"There's no such thing as politely declining, it's rude" she muttered and dug into her food

They finished eating and retired to their rooms, while Darcia was busy with the files she had seen on the

table

It contained the informations about the company and so on.

The next morning, Darcia walked out of her room dressed in black formal pants and black button up

shirt and black heels. Since the weather was mild not much sun was out

Livia was also dressed in black formal gown and heels, though she was still getting used to walking in it

"Gosh, humans are so heroic how do they walk in these?" She cursed as her legs kept bending from side

to side

"Just manipulate the f*ckin shoes" Darcia cursed

"Oh" Livia's eyes brightened up as she was soon walking properly

"Morning ma'am" Jevin greeted

"I'll see you when I get back" Darcia said and Jevin nodded

"I'll see you when I get back too" Livia winked but Jevin could only sigh

She was a headache, when Darcia went into her room, Livia kept bugging him and telling him to eat. It

was when he finished eating did she go back into her room

Jevin sighed again as they left

How can one person give him a migraine?, truthfully he wasn't ready to see her again

Livia was able to walk outside with the aid of an umbrella and the car wasn't far so she got in quickly,

Darcia joined her too and the driver drove off.

They stopped in front of a huge building that made Livia's jaws dropped, if it wasn't for her fear for sun,

she would've rushed out to admire the building and everything around it

They got inside and the workers all stopped and bowed slightly as a greeting, meaning they had been

informed of her arrival

They were to hold a little meeting that'll announce the arrival of their new CEO so everyone was rushing

to the meeting hall, the media was available also

When it was time, Darcia stood in front of the crown, a microphone in front of her on the pulpit

"My name is Adrielle D Brown, the daughter of the founder of this company and the new CEO" she

introduced

"Miss Adrielle, your father's company seems to be in a mess is there anything in mind about the fixture

of that?" A reporter asked

"Yes" Darcia nodded

Hee temperament calm and emotionless, her aura screamed dominance and danger at the same time

"Do you mind explaining?"

"I can't expose my plans about the growth of this company" she replied

Few other questions were asked and she kept replying either in short sentences or shaking her head

positively and negatively

"Any last words?" A female reporter asked and Darcia looked straight into the cameras in front of her

"My father's company is going to be the best it was, and the rest is going to crash unrecognizably" she

smirked

That smirk that made the reporters shudder, her aura seemed to have turned cold, as if ...as if she

wanted something...

Off-course she did
