"How do you like my new hair mommy?" Esmeralda, Rosella's second daughter asked

"It's very pretty just like you" Rosella replied proudly stroking Esmeralda's hair

"You think Fredrick would like it?" Esmeralda asked and Gisela sneered mockingly

Gisela is Vivian's daughter, the second daughter of Luciano while Esmeralda is the third

"Yes" Rosella replied

"And I'm sure the frog that just croaked did that out of jealousy" Amber scoffed and Esmeralda giggled

evilly

"It's just shameful how some old women talk when kids are talking, someone who hasn't given birth

after hundreds of years of f*ckin endlessly" Gisela smirked and Amber gritted her teeth

"You b*tch!" Amber cursed

At that moment Darcia walked in lazily, she was in casuals unlike her stepsisters who was tightly in

dresses that they couldn't breath in

"Here comes the soon to be queen" Amber announced loudly and Esmeralda started making trumpet

like noises

"Pam pa-ra-ram!!"

Darcia rolled her eyes lazily and sat down opposite them carelessly

"How does it feel to be the soon to be queen instead your eldest sister?" Amber asked

"How does it feel to see your youngest sister take over the throne instead of you?" Darcia asked back

"I was right after, you're a bitch just like your mother who...." Rosella couldn't finish her sentence

because a knife came flying in her direction

It cut her cheekbone lightly and stood fiercely on the wall, Rosella looked at the knife on the wall in

shock and then at Darcia who folded her arms while glaring at her

"Try saying that one more time and it'll be your stinking gutter of a mouth, focus more on your useless

daughters and stop nosing in other's affairs" Darcia said and lazily threw a cherry into her mouth

"What did you call us you..."

"Useless, I called you useless" Darcia replied before Esmeralda could finish her sentence

"You..."

"What, you wanna fight? It's daytime let's go outside for a faceoff if you aren't going to be ashes in five

seconds" Darcia said blinking lazily and Esmeralda who folded her fists

"You're using your immunity to sun as your strength" Amber said

"That's one of the proof that you're nothing compared to me" Darcia shrugged innocently

"Your majesty" the guards in front of the dining room greeted with a bow

Luciano nodded to them and walked into the dining room that was now quiet, he walked to Rosella and

Vivian and have them both a kiss each on the lips

Then to Amber, Esmeralda and Gisela, he pecked their cheeks, but when he got to Darcia, he pecked her

also and ruffled her hair fondly

Her full attractive lips turned up slightly and her lazy cold eyes warmed.

"How are you my brave warrior?" Luciano asked as he sat down

"I'm okay father" she replied

"Good girl" Luciano said and ruffled her hair again

Amber rolled her eyes in jealousy, Gisela scoffed annoyed and Esmeralda stomped her foot like a spoilt

little brat

"Your majesty, the way you interact with your youngest daughter isn't it rather too intimate, people may

get the wrong idea" Vivian said with a smile but off-course hatred, sarcasm and mockery dripped out of

her every word

"Then it's their fault for having such dirty minds" Luciano replied, his smile still intact

Vivian was speechless..

Darcia's smirked, her father really knew how to make someone eat their words

"Serve the dinner" he said and immediately the head maid standing not far away ordered the food to be

brought onto the table

"How are my girls preparing for the party tonight?" Luciano asked

"I'm super ready for it father, I even had my dress custom-made, I wanted it to be Maud out if human's

nails" Gisela said and giggled loudly

"Take a look at my hair daddy, is it beautiful?" Esmeralda asked

"It's pretty my dear, you're always pretty"

"Daddy, I want you to introduce me to Frederick" Esmeralda pouted and Gisela scoffed again

How many times does this girl scoff a day?

Darcia shook her head as she dipped her spoon into her food. They were having a light breakfast along

with blood wine

"And who told you he'll do that when I've obviously informed him about Frederick" Gisela said

"What the hell do you mean by that?" Esmeralda yelled

"I mean what I mean"

"Stop that, the both of you right now!" Luciano demanded angrily and the place immediately became

quiet

"Try to act like actual princesses for once" she shook his head and sighed helplessly.

In the night, grunts could be heard coming from a room. Darcia sighed and inhaled sharply again

"Almost done" one of the maids announced

"Try sucking in your breath again princess" another said and Darcia sighed before obeying

"There" the maid said immediately the zip went up and Darcia exhaled deeply

"It's too tight" she muttered as she tried hard to steady her breath in the dress

"It's perfect" the maid said smiling

They took a corset and wore it around her waist

"This too?" She asked

"Yes now turn, we have to tie it"

"Tight?"

"Yes" and with that the rope in the corset was drawn immediately causing Darcia to breath sharply

"Perfect" the maid grinned and turned Darcia to herself

"You look like the real queen to be"

"I can't f*cking breath in this Livia" Darcia complained but Livia, the maid placed a finger on Darcia's lip

"You'll get used to it, now you're ready to go" Livia said and patted Darcia's arm

Darcia stared at her reflection coldly, her back was straight and looked unapproachable along with her

cool makeup

The gown was a black off the shoulder exposing her white smooth collar bone and neck, the corset

brought out her tiny waist and perfect figure.

She headed out for the ball room, she walked past Amber's room and paused for some seconds when

she heard noises coming from it

"Yes right there...

"F*ck that's the spot...

"Harder you mother fucker!!

"F*ck me like there's no tomorrow!"

Amber's loud groans sounded. As expected

Darcia rolled her eyes and continued walking

"Hello pretty" she heard someone say from behind her

She stopped and turned to see a handsome man smiling at her

"Maverick" she said under her breath

Maverick is Frederick's twin brother. Their father is Luciano's best friend

"It's been so long, look how pretty and tall you've grown" Maverick said as he patted her hair, Darcia

slapped his hands off but he still smiled

He was Darcia's best friend before he went into the human world to base for years,

"Don't touch my hair" she snapped but Maverick's smile widened

"Still as fierce as always"

"Still as annoying as always" Darcia said as she smiled lightly

The only people she smiles to is her father, Livia and Maverick

"Cute, I love the dress" Maverick said as he took in her outfit

"I hate it"

"It's really pretty"

"It's killing me"

"You've always hated dresses, especially tight ones like this but you really have no idea how cute and

hot you look"

"It doesn't matter" Darcia shook her head

"Maverick!!!" A loud shrill was heard

Darcia and Maverick turned to see Esmeralda running madly towards them

"Oh my f*cking gawd!!" Esmeralda screamed again

"Oh no!.." Maverick muttered

"As expected" Darcia sighed....
