Chapter 1

『 ???????????????? ????????????!』

Loud clicks from heels echoed in the silent walkway as a lady walked towards the wide door ahead. As

soon as the guards saw her, they bowed and opened the door

She stepped in and the door closed behind her

"Darcia" a man looking his thirties exclaimed rather happily, he was on his bed and in his hand was a

flute cup filled with thick red blood

That's right, human blood

"Father" Darcia's cold voice sounded as she stared at her father

"How did it go?" Her father, Luciano asked

"The job is done, trusts he never tries any shit again" Darcia said and Luciano smiled

"How are you feeling?" She asked

She is the only one that knows her father isn't as strong as he looks. The man is almost ten thousand

years old.

"I'm great, you don't have to worry about me" Luciano shook his head but the smile never left his lips

"Lie" she muttered, her voice was low but cold

She raised her eyes again and her lazy gaze fell on the cup Luciano was holding, her forehead made lines

and her nose twitched

"The drink..."

"Oh it was Rosella" Luciano replied

Rosella is the second wife of Luciano. He got married to three wives but only one was his true mate,

Lilith, Darcia's mother . Who according to Luciano died after weeks of her birth. Though Lilith didn't give

him a child early causing him to marry two more

Rosella and Vivian. They gave him two girls and one girl respectively. Then Lilith gave birth to Darcia,

earning the love of Luciano at first sight

She is smart but cold and doesn't show much emotions. Since her mother is a hybrid, she is naturally

immune to sunburns, while others can't get exposed I'm the sunlight, Darcia can walk around during any

time of the day

She can also eat anything humans can and also blood like a vampire. She can live without blood for days

making her look entirely like human.

"It's poisoned" she said simply and Luciano smiled again

"I know"

"Then why?"

"I'm old anyway, I didn't expect anything less from her and her co-wife anyway" he shrugged and laid

back on his king-sized bed

"Go and have dinner, you shouldn't starve yourself. I'll be fine don't worry" Luciano said and Darcia

nodded, bowed slightly and walked out

Luciano's smile immediately fall and he sighed out weakly.

Darcia walked into her room and headed straight for the bathroom. She stripped and walked into the

bathtub. She had her bath and walked out naked

She went to her wardrobe and stopped when she saw her reflection on the mirror beside her, she can

also see her reflection unlike other vampires too

She stared at herself, her beauty was known all over the kingdom, her long smooth legs and tiny waist,

one look and one would think she was I'm her twenties, whereas she turned 90 last week

"Admiring yourself aren't you proud of your inhumane beauty?" Darcia heard a voice from behind her

She didn't need to turn to know it was her eldest sister Amber

"I am" Darcia replied lazily as she took a tank top from her wardrobe

"How is your father?"

"He's great as always" Darcia replied as one of her leg went into her jean shorts followed by the other

Amber gritted her teeth at Darcia's lazy replies buy forced a smile again when Darcia looked at her

"The poison isn't doing anything to him of that is what you want to know" Darcia said and touched

Amber's hand

Before Amber knew it , they were already outside Darcia's room, she looked at Darcia who was in front

of her door in anger

"And stay out!" Darcia said and shit the door on Amber's face...
