5. FaceBook

"You look like a train wreck, Sophia!" Dad shouted, "Where were you? I'm not playing games. Who were you with? Alessio said he saw you leave with boys."

My jaw dropped. Was he accusing me of running away? Sure sounded like it. "Well did Alessio not tell you that they kidnapped me? They put a freaking bag over my head, dad!" I yelled right back. He was sassy, but I was the real sass master and he didn't scare me because I was the principessa.

"Marco, how'd she get home? Who was she with?" He demanded.

"I didn't see a car, sir. She came walking up the road. I'll have Enzo review the tapes and report back," he turned around and started walking back down the road.

"Sophia D'Amico," my mom said sternly with a hint of concern in her voice, "What happened last night?"

"You know, I really would tell both of you," I wiggled around them and into the house, immediately heading for the couch and plopping down, "But...you haven't really let me finish my sentence yet," I said as they both followed me in.

"We're waiting," dad crossed his arms over his chest, his pissyness subsiding only slightly.

"I think it's safe to assume you both know who the Rossi's are-"

"You fucking didn't!" Dad shouted.

"Didn't what? Can I keep going now?"

"Go," mom said after giving dad an annoyed look. I feel like she wanted to know the answer a little more than him anyway.

"Well," I dragged the word out, "As dad knows, I've been having some problems with a certain somebody. A boy. He claims I owe him money for something I supposedly broke but it was kind of both of our faults. I said I wasn't going to pay him back because I pretty much did nothing wrong, so when we were out for dinner last night, I went out back and he and his disgusting friends took me against my will."

"What part of that am I supposed to not believe? It's all sounding a little weird to me, Sophia," dad said. Love you too.

"And again with the cutting me off. I wasn't done. Dad, we could have been

done with this by now and you could have been well on your way."

They both stayed silent. My cue to keep going.

"Well Alex, the boy behind this whole thing, is a Rossi or Bellini, whatever I don't care that much at this point. I had to endure a whole night in the Rossi household. Italia didn't even notice me."

"Well thank God for that!" Dad's shocked and yet slightly relieved tone almost made me laugh. "We could have been burying our daughter right now, or going on a fucking scavenger hunt to find her missing pieces so that we could bury her," he said to mom.

"Don't say that. What are you going to do about this? Just leave it alone?" Mom asked and I took that as my golden opportunity to get up and head to my room.

I closed the door behind me before throwing myself onto my bed. I would have taken out my phone and texted Camilla had I still had my phone. But no, Alex's little minion just had to fucking destroy it.

I'd have to ask my dad for a new one later today, just as soon as he calmed down a little bit.

I may not have had my phone, but I definitely still had my laptop. I sat up, stretched myself to the end of the bed and grabbed the shiny silver thing. I opened it up, and immediately logged onto Facebook. I could text Camilla that way.

My Facebook was pretty boring. Since my dad was a well sought after criminal, I couldn't post any pictures or videos, nothing that had my face or any of my family's faces on it. My name wasn't even the same.

I went by So Da.

First two letters of Sophia and first two letters of D'Amico.

Creative, I know.

I was a little surprised, but not too alarmed to see that I had four new friend requests.

I was extremely disappointed to see who it was.

Layne Renee, Brendan Stokers, Spike ItsYourBoy Travis, and yours truly Alex de Rossi.

I declined the first three immediately and let my mouse hover over Alex's name. I was trying to decide whether or not I should tell him that I told my dad, or just block him so that I never had to speak to the guy ever again.

For some reason completely unbeknownst to me, I clicked on his

name and did some scrolling through his profile just to come to the same conclusion I had already drawn for him.

He was everything I was against.

There were pictures of him with girls at what I assumed to be parties, pictures of him drinking what I could only assume was alcohol, smoking pictures and just about everything else.

I scrolled all the way back up to the top and opened up a new box to send him a message.

So Da: Where's my money bitch?????

He technically had a hand in stealing my phone, a phone worth a lot of money. I figured it was a good way to start the conversation.

He responded almost instantly.

Alex de Rossi: We're even now. Now fuck off

And now I couldn't. Was I annoying him? I couldn't stop this now. Karma bitch.

So Da: I told my dad.

The screen went black for a moment before a white screen came up with Alex's profile picture in the middle and red and green buttons on the bottom.

He was calling?

I quickly hit the green button and his face popped up. He was laying on his unmade bed on his side, an angry scowl on his face, "What. The. Fuck." He said each word slowly and very quietly. Mommy was probably home. "I told you not to tell him. Do you really want World War three to start, Sophia?!"

"My dad hasn't decided what he's going to do yet. I doubt he'll even do anything

"My dad hasn't decided what he's going to do yet. I doubt he'll even do anything because your mom surprisingly didn't do anything to hurt me."

He shot up, now sitting completely upright, "He's an ass who loves drama. He's going to do something."

"Go jump off a cliff, Alex."

He sighed before running his hand through his messy hair, "Did you at least accept my friend request?"

"Nope. Bye Alex."

Just before I could end the call, I heard him mumble, "Well, I'm sending it again then."

Damn.
