SIGNED CONTRACT

Though I can't hear a word the professor says, I follow her around the room with my eyes. I was having the most unpleasant and awkward experience of my life an hour ago while I was lying on a bed in the doctor's office. I'd never been seen down there by myself until this morning. That memory makes my cheeks blush.

About 6: 30, Evans came to fetch me up. I had an early class, and he wanted to make sure we had adequate time.

I opened the door, and he said, "Good morning."

"I haven't had any coffee, and it is too early."

His eyebrows shot upward. "You're not the early bird?"

Who's that?

Nobody opens doors anymore, so I wasn't expecting him to lead us to a black Tesla and open it for me.

He continued, "I made arrangements, but normally we'd have to travel to Los Angeles for the screening," as he turned on the engine.

Once more, why is this needed? Gazing out the window, I posed the query. The sun hadn't emerged yet because it was so early.

To make sure everything is in working order, they are conducting some tests.

Feeling a bit anxious, I nodded slowly. I was surprised to find that there was just one pregnant woman at the doctor's office, which was conveniently close to my school. Thinking about how huge I'll be in a few months, I gulped when I saw her.

Receptionist: "I'm Evans Leonard," he said. "I have to get at seven for an appointment."

Leonard Evans. It even sounds like a well-known and significant name. Am I foolish to believe all this man says to me when I don't even know him? What do I know about him? He seems like a great guy.

We were told to wait, although it didn't take long by the receptionist as she checked her computer. I was really thankful that the doctor was a woman since she took us back immediately and explained what would happen.

"May I travel by myself?" To Evans, I said.

"No, I'll accompany you,"

With a scowl, he halted when I reached for his hand. Letting go of his hand, I muttered, "Sorry." I simply don't feel comfortable doing this right now. Do not add to the humiliation, please.

His head was shaken. "I wish I could walk this path with you."

"I am aware. Please, just once.

Before nodding at all, he gave me a long look. Oh, okay.

I walked into the room behind the doctor and said, "Thank you." The most uncomfortable encounter I've ever had occurred there, regardless of the fact that the doctor was a woman. Luckily, she said that I could conceive and was in excellent health. A fake smile tried to hide my true feelings, which were to go and let Evans make plans for my next appointment for the next week.

The lesson has ended when I blink a few times. My phone rattles in my pocket, so I pause as I pack my stuff and groan. I respond, "Hello," as I exit the space.

I answer, perplexed, "Ciara." "Hello, Evans."

"We must sign the contract at our meeting on Monday."

the agreement. Yes. I will sign this form promising to give up the baby after it is born. Exactly. I guess I should try to make it this weekend.

"I will see you on the 7th."

I splutter, "No!"

Does something seem off? He appears irritated.

"Maybe we can meet someplace? My roommate shouldn't—

"Then, at about noon, I'll pick you up."

Regards.

Adam should not know that I'm doing this for financial gain, even though I realize it looks absurd since I will soon be unable to conceal my pregnancy. I wish to keep my actions hidden from others. I'm going crazy over this scenario. A sigh escapes me as I look up and see Flora approaching me. And now for it.

She asks, frowning, "What's wrong?"

"It's me, Flora."

She instantly recognizes what I'm talking about and her expression sinks. "What made you reconsider?"

And the cash. I'm powerless to refuse the ridiculous sum he's willing to pay. Whether God sent him to assist me or not is unknown to me.My knowledge is limited to my family's financial demands.

"Who is he? Why does he do that?

We take a seat on the bench after Flora grabs my hand and pulls me over. Stupidly, I realize, "I don't know what he does." "Leonard, Evans Leonard, is his name, that's all I know.”

What? Her eyes gleam so brightly that they hurt.

What?

Leonard Evans, huh? Will Evans Leonards be the father of your child?

Yes. What's the issue?

Her head is shook. I told you about the Leons family; do you not remember?

"Nope," I acknowledge.

Her gaze rolls. Kristopher Leonard is a well-known performer. Recall that he was also in the film that we recently saw? With no opportunity for me to respond, she goes on. His four children are Ariana, Caroline, Heni,k, and Evans. He was married to Eliana Leonard.

"Actor is his father?"

Yes. Leonard's family is well-known to all; I find it quite unbelievable that you were unaware of who you were working with.Ciara, New York City's most well-known club, is owned by Evans. It is Y Niae Club; it is named Barcode. I have visited it a few times. He is a wealthy, which makes sense. Yet it amazes me that he want a child. "Evans was left at the altar? I know he was left there a few years ago. What?"

Let her nod. He even had to vanish until the conversation about it was over, which added to the drama. The tabloids carried it all.

Surprised, I look at her. From only his name, all I knew about Evans's life story, but Flora could tell me about it in a matter of seconds. Being abandoned at the altar must be terrible, especially because discussions about it never end. Though, to be fair, he didn't give me an opportunity, so I can't say I didn't get to know him better. The thought of being a celebrity's mother most of all terrifies me; I don't want to be in publications or followed by crazy people with cameras. Before I get pregnant, Evans and I need to talk about this.

Do publications accurately portray him as hot? Says Flora.

My eyes roll. "He looks very good, but I'm not sure how he looks in magazines."

It's certain that you will have a stunning child.

"You don't mind if I take over as his surrogate for now?" Simply because his name is Leonard?

Shuffles off. You know at least that he's not some kind of scammer. It seems unlikely that he would deceive you knowing that doing so could damage his reputation.

When was he born?

Flora scowls. "Let us investigate by searching for him on Google," Gazing into the search box, she types his name on her laptop. On the screen appears his profile. After clicking on the pictures tab, Flora exclaims, "Twenty-eight." There are several photos that appear, most of which take him by surprise. He's dressed in suits for each of them. He is significant; he is a millionaire, a celebrity, and an influencer.

How ignorant I was of all of this is beyond comprehension. On Monday, we're meant to begin attempting. I want to cry and laugh at the same moment, but saying it sounds so strange.

He wouldn't have the money to pay you whatsoever much he is, she says, pointing to the computer screen.

It's what she says. What matters is that his wealth shouldn't matter in the end.Simply put, when the time comes, I don't want others to know that I'm expecting his child. Having my family know what I'm up to is a source of anxiety for me, thus the idea worries me.

Can I bear Evans's child and hide it from everyone, even my classmates and the media?my own family, even?
